jojo is your ombre on the index/pointer finger done with the same mango crush? just applying it thicker at the cuticle area and less at the free edge??? if so what a smart idea!!! i;ve never thought of that!!!
My nails in this video are all one colour - Bee In Your Bonnet glitter gel over the top of The Bees Knees colour gel. You definitely could do an ombre the way you described though :) xx
Sorry I've just realised what you mean! I did use a bit of Bee In Your Bonnet over the free edge to blend up to the Mango Crush. HTH xx
@@JojoWickens sorry i meant the nails you did lol, so it is just an ombre of mango and bonnet then!! i wonder if my ombre idea would work?? it would def be thicker on one end of the nail and would have to be encapsulated!

+NailsByKatieDutra Thank you 💓 I push back the eponychium first as if it grows up the nail alot it pushes it away from where I'm going to file so I don't catch their skin. Plus then I can just go in with my efile for taking the gel down & then for cuticle removal so it's a smoother routine for me. But there's no right or wrong way round, it's whichever you prefer 😘

Hi Jo. I noticed you wear gloves for the filing stages but not the gel application stage, why not during gel application too?
my guess is the dust gets everywhere and allergies happen from the dust more than anything, but that's just my guess, i never wear gloves!!!
Do you use gloss acrylic paints or matte?

I'm just wondering why you file the nail tips at the end, as it will break the seal that you have created by wrapping the nail tips with gel? And also, can you let me know where you purchased your cuticle pusher from please? Thanks
Sexy_Killa_Babe When I File at the end I only do this lightly to smooth and refine the shape to make sure the shaping is still how I want it after colour application. I use the Light Elegance cuticle pusher x
She’s using hard gels. Filing at the end is actually recommended for hard gels and prevents the likelihood of separation from the nail. 😘

How do you keep the sides of your jars so clean? Mine leak even though I keep them upright. It’s so maddening.
Incognitoo3 Clean the inside of the caps. The sides tend to get full of gel and then drip down, once you twist them shut! It’s so annoying!
Please, can you tell me at what speed do you work with speedy bit (how many rpm)?
higher speeds are recommended so it doesn't skip

I’ve been looking for a video on how to apply light elegance’s lighter colors As I find everyone I’ve tried so far streak terribly. I have to say I’m disappointed in this video as there is no instruction. So I’m still in the same dilemma that I was in the beginning. In the future for me anyways words but it would be much more appreciated than terrible music
This is not an instructional video on how to use the LE products, this was a tutorial for the design. If you wanted help on applying paler colours you only needed to ask rather than be rude. If you do not like the music you can always mute the video.
