I still see the advantage of a good monitor to just keep in your kit.....however, a larger ipad as a directors monitor is kind of a game changer for a youtube studio or even a small indie crew where a $5000 Smallhd is likely out of reach.
It's wild because an iPad sounds so silly to use as a monitor until you actually use one. I'm finding myself leaving my high end monitors at home because iPad just looks so much better even when compared to my expensive monitors I own. One thing I like about using an iPad is that it barely drains any battery, it is so efficient that running it off a V-Mount will last all day. The same can't be said about any other monitor.
Great product. I live by the SmallHD 702, but this is a great option for sure.

Hello Armando! Congratulations for the channel and for its delivery to our network! Is the image quality on the Ipad and Iphone good, Very good or is it as good as a monitor for example? Is there no pixel interpolation on the edges? This Resource already exists in Hollyland but the image is still too bad to be used professionally.

Nope doesn’t work like that also you don’t get any of the tools you’d want to monitor if it was just a feed

Thanks for the video. I have the Seemos Pro connected to my Ipad 6 and the screen freezes about every 3 minutes. I have to disconnect the and reconnect the USB cord to get the video back.

Is there a way to record 1080 vertical content with it while recording horizontal in camera? 1080 out isn’t a big deal but it would suck to have to stretch it out for social media
Can this be used between a gaming console and an iPad to turn the iPad into a monitor without having to use capture cards or third party apps?
For me it was hoo heavy to attach 12.9inch iPad Pro on a mirrorless camera, but it was very good to use the iPad Pro as a movable production monitor for director.
For mirrorless camera I think the iPad Mini is the sweet spot.
Looking forward to trying one out! It would be great if Kondor Blue made some phone and iPad cages to fit this system, especially for the iPad mini 6!

Yeah, so Portrays monitors are able to control start and stop as well as general camera settings while shooting. this would be an amazing addition! im looking forward to using the product and getting rid of my other monitors.@@ACCSOON

I have iPhone 13 and 15 and I’d like to use seemo with both of them, so I’m wondering if I need android version or iOS version will work with 15 pro too/

@Armando Ferreira does it comes with all the attachment necessary to work with a cellphone or you have to buy a cage/bracket in extra to make it work? (for iPad I see that you need an extra accessory)
Those are sold separately, there’s tons of options on Amazon that are very Inexpensive.
How would you compare this to using the RED DSMC3 Monitor is there any downside of using this seeing as there is a SDI pass thru?
I mean the RED DSMC3 Monitor is going to be superior because you have RED control, that in itself is worth buying. But if you're going to use both in conjunction then that's different
It would be very handy if there was an easy way to transmit the live signal from the iOS device to other iOS devices for say the director's monitor.
That's a good idea. It's an App, so it might be achieved by update.
Hey Armando, do you know if you can record to the SD card in the camera while also recording to the ios device or streaming? Or can it only do one thing at a time? Would be cool to capture 4k footage to camera while streaming or getting 1080 directly to my device

2 completely different products, Atomos is going to give you the highest quality your camera can output. This is for quick delivery and also monitoring tools. So depends what you need the most
i heard in another review that accsoom is coming with 4k output. is this correct
is this similar to using your lumix S5ii and connecting to iPad? Ive been connecting ipad and phone via wifi to camera since the GH4 and controlling the camera that way

@@mondobytes At 5:34 when you're showing your live, you move you hand and it looks like it's off by a frame or two. I don't use my current monitor often but when I do it's for live sports and I pretty much need zero lag.

I had bad experiences with the original Seemo. It would flake out during critical times. Just get yourself a proper monitor.
I also had the original one too and had issues which is why I never used it. Also hated that it never charged the phone, it was really half baked. The Pro is way better and works amazing.

Any ipad - iphone is useless in production, they overheat and dim, and never bright enough to use outdoors
Mine has never overheated or dimmed and I've used it for hours. In regards to outside, just get a sun hood, I would do that with any monitor regardless and so many companies make them for really cheap.
