Yo, your videos are doing wonders. I never really "learned" how to skate as a kid, no teachers just strap in at a rink and fumble along, but now that I'm trying as an adult you are certainly the teacher I've always needed! Thank you for sharing your skill here!
My 6 year old daughter started a few days ago...triked me to buy rollerblades for me too. Put them on today...started very well , got some speed too, i whas amazed by myself, didn't know how to stop:)) falled in my a$$ pretty well.35 year old ...i watched many of your videous now and tomorow night when no neighbours are out i go practice:)) just to don't see me falling again:). In the day il help my daughter learning:) thx for every info on your videous
Awesome video as always! Thank you so much for the time you put in to these videos and sharing your knowledge and experience. I really appreciate it. Take care!
dude, today is day 2 for me, and your videos have helped immensely. I've only fallen once while getting up the very first time,.but I visualize your tips in my head and that has been a game changer. Coach Polly you should win Grammy.
Yes!!!! I have a few already to checkout but I can make more!!! I always buy from shop task inline skate shop and my fave brand is rollerblade brand 🫶🤙🙏
this was really good! i can skate okay just using the brakes but i want to learn how to stop without them, going to try the lemon drops and plow stop progression. thanks!
I believe she recommends shop task skate shop for purchases and the skates she has mentioned before are the Rollerblade Maxxum XT W, I saw in a previous video that she got a new frame at one point and new wheels ( I'm low key obsessed with this channel lol) I just picked up the Twister XT Inline skates and I'm super excited strengthening my skills. I hope this helps. Happy skating!
Can you please do a review of common rollerblades? I’ve been rollerblading for about 2 years now and I wanna buy new skates, but the area I live in only sells the starter skates. Can you review different brands, especially for those who are experts?
Good video! My biggest problem is that one foot glide, I can't seem to stand on one leg for very long, so I tend to make lots of little pushes/strides.
All your tips are awesome! I wonder though if you have any tips for those of us who have flat feet, who really struggle with balance? Let me know, cuz I'm one of those, and I really want to surprise my husband one day, and skate with him.
Thank you for showing us the drills and much appreciated. I wanted to ask if these trails are also good if you're using quads? Or do drills need to be modified if you're using quads, instead of in lines?
Hi! Not an expert but I think quad skating is different enough that maybe different exercises would work best! She has a couple of quad-specific videos on her channel, plus Dasia Sade is also a good RUclipsr to follow for learning quad skating! Hope this helps :)
Hi Polly! I just bought a rollerblades 3 days ago. I never tried rollerblading before so it feels like a massive thing to learn. It is my 3rd day of practicing rollerblades now and I already watched few of your videos. I just wanna ask if fatigue within my knee down my toe is normal, like when I'm out of roller blades, my knee felt wobbling? 1st and 2nd day, I can only move through while holding on a railing. This is my 3rd day and I can and attempting to move a little bit faster without holding onto anything. Is this okay as a progress? It felt too slow for me. I typically practice at least an hour a day because my feet hurts when I'm on the roller blades for too longer.
I'm struggling a lot with turning to other side and it also makes me quite hard to do lemon drop. I can't bend my feet to make a complete lemon shape, how do I fix this?
without morning whole body stretches id never wake up, walking dead would be feeling like sh. honestly, ppl do stretches especially back ones, then your brain will get active for clear thinking, back and brain are connected, neck stretches, all body
Any drills to help with one foot glides?

Where can I buy rollerblades?? No one seems to sell them anymore
if you’re in europe you can get them from decathlon starting from 55€
I have a question for you. I just got my roller blades 2 days ago, how much time should I expect to take to start being able to do basic strides
Hi Polly! I just bought a rollerblades 3 days ago. I never tried rollerblading before so it feels like a massive thing to learn. It is my 3rd day of practicing rollerblades now and I already watched few of your videos.
