Hi Karin! I love how your En Masse journal is coming along! Love the cover you made with your daughter.. so beautiful. What a fun update. Thank you so much for mentioning me in your video and providing a link to my channel... you are wonderful and i appreciate you!! Hugs, Pam
+pTanino Thanks for watching Pam. I'm so glad I have my journal in alphabetical order and in an ordner, like yours :) I think It's going with me on vacation this year.
Hi Karin, thanks for sharing your journal, seems like a lot of fun! For the numbers I would suggest to use the words, too, and maybe typical phrases like "give me five", "5 o'clock tea" or "the four seasons. Also I could imagine using pictures of items that appear in a certain number like 5 toes and fingers, 2 eyes, hands, feet, shoes, gloves, 7 dwarves, 4 leaves on a clover, a sixpack, the fab four, twins and so on. For the letter Q I think it could be funny to find things in a queue. Also quotes would be a nice category. V could be for vegetables, violins, vulcanos. U could be for umbrellas or underwear. ;) Rain or rainbows and roses would be nice for R. With a J I could think of jewelry, Jazz and jokes. Well, this really makes me want to start my own en masse journal. ;) Love, Tiny
Hoi Tiny, Thanks for watching my video! And thank you so much for all your ideas!!! i'm definitely going to use them. You've got such great ideas :) love the 7 dwarves and the fab four! And the que idea and the jokes.. haha I would never heve thought of those! So you'll propably see them in my next en masse update ;) And yes, you should start your own En masse journal! it's so much fun! Hugs from Holland!
for your number pages, put pictures on groups of things in that number. (5 apples, 2people, a pair.) Q - question mark, quilt, queen, quince, quotes, quill, queue
Thank you for the update, I love these flips. I am doing mine in the Oklahoma travel journal and I really like it because the pages are large but I think I will do my next one like yours. I love that you can take pages out to work on and I really like that is in alphabetical order. I have labels on mine but I still flip around looking for whatever category I'm wanting to glue in. For your numbers you could put pictures of items on the page, like your playing cards cut out the five hears, five diamonds, five clubs and five spades. You could do other objects as well but cards would be easy. You could also use the word for the number. I am having the most trouble with X. I am gluing pictures of the letters but I am using more pictures of words that start with the letter, I'm using a lot of animal pictures. X is a hard one and so far J- I like the idea of the playing card for joker or jack, I hadn't thought of that. I like your idea of pastels. I also love your Marilyn Monroe page and the Hello Kitty page is so bright and pretty. Thanks for sharing.
+Lottie Faith Thanks for watching Lottie :) It's so handy to have everything in an ordner and in alphabetical order! I think I'm going to sit down and thnk of a list of things to collect for each letter! Thanks for the tips on what to do with the numberrs. tose are the hardest. Although the X...I have no idea.....
Hi Karin. Q is for Queen and Queens wear crowns so I combined them. Suggestions for numbers. Draw a medium to large size number and doodle or decorate it . Also you can have groups of things on each number page . example. 5 five cars . 3 three geese . etc . Personally I have a double spread page for all numbers . hope this helps . I enjoy your journal.
I absolutely LOVE that front cover you made. If I saw a notebook in a store and it had this for a cover I would grab it up in an instant! Very pretty! Wonder if there's a way you could get it mass-produced?
that's so sweet of you to say Maryann! You can try it yourself if you like! just sit down with a large piece of paper....and just go for it!! Thanks for watching :)
