I do ANY length of road or trail run with my vest on. I don't like anything in my shorts pockets, plus I come equipped for scenarios. For trail runs now I'm even carrying a mini first aid kit, especially during races.

I ALSO thought it was funny when you said "only 16 miles." 🤣 At first I was like , yeah, only 16 miles...but then I realized my difficulty running 8-12 miles (I normally do 6 tops).

I feel it works best to put the elastic loops under the top part of the softflask in stead under the cap like you did.

What do you mean by under the top Part? Like under the mouth thingy or below the cap where the soft Material Beginns?

@@Pedashredder hi, the top of the softflask is 'oval shaped' and hard plastic. Fill up the flask with fluid and put it in the vest. Than pull the elastic loop over the hard top part, so the loop grabs the flask underneath the hard plastic part where the soft part of the flask begins. The top of the flask shoot stick out a bit at the top of the vest.
This way is stays in place really good. Hope I've described it more clearly.

I recently bought a Salomon vest with two flasks as a gift but the flasks have a bad plastic smell even though I washed them many times it didn't change anything do you know what to do did you have the same problem thanks

But if someone has a great sense of smell this can alter the way the water tastes because the brain tricks you.
