Here it is. One of the hardest songs in the series. If you're wondering why it's so hard, go to 2:33. That strumming is way faster than the strum limit, so you're forced to use the HOPOs. You need to be incredibly accurate, and this is probably the second hardest FC on the original engine games, behind trogdor. For some reason, I found this easier to hit without hyperspeed. I used the towel trick tho. I tried for this for a few days, and I eventually just tried turning off hyperspeed and it worked pretty well. As far as score goes, the score is not that good. Missed quite a few notes at the back end solo activation, then I missed the squeeze after it because I was playing it safe. As long as I could FC this, I was happy. No way am I gonna throw away this FC for an extra 400. Took over 10 years lmao
I really love this version more than Krokus' cover of the Sweet's original. It feels more like a party.
If I had a nickel for every time Solo B in a metal cover of a 70s song was ridicosously overcharted by HMX, I'd have two nickels.
Which isn't a lot, but isn't it weird that it happened twice?

My problem with this song is that it doesn't even *LOOK* hard at all, but then when I try it myself that strumming section is literally impossible lol
A lot of GH songs give me such undue cockiness until I get to the solos (or the bridges)
A lot like Trogdor; the strumming in that song near the end looks doable by a good player, but the strum limit makes it near impossible lol.

Great FC man!! Though, I can’t stand it when the game says ‘Made FAMOUS by Krokus’! It was originally by The Sweet in 1974. I met the band and saw them play live in Folkestone, Kent. Anyway, super job! Your scores are getting up there with KramRal!! Keep going! Btw, have you done the FSFC yet?

guitarheroROXS No problem man! What songs are they? I mean every time I FC’d a song on the leaderboards I saw ‘A Wise Moose’ (who I assume is you) knock me down a place.. I remember getting 300k on one song and you getting 301k. I can’t squeeze songs for shit lol. I’m going to be an eternity getting the FSFC. However, I won’t give up..
Yup, I'm A Wise Moose. I still have to FC TTFAF on GH3 and GHSH, Satch Boogie, and I'm The One. Squeezing is definitely a skill that takes a lot of time to master. I'm still getting better all the time, I'm working my way through some GH3 songs again because I am able to hit squeezes I wasn't able to hit last year when I made videos from the game.

Lol, Satch Boogie is one of KramRal’s favourite songs to play. He loves trills from what he told me! StrikeBowler585 does too. Though he had trouble with ITO.. What’s your current run on TTFAF? Percentage and score?
I have a personal Instagram, but I haven't posted GH on there. I never even post on Insta. On GH3 i got 973K, -3 maybe? Idk. I'd like to get the FC on console instead of PC, because uncapped framerates make this game much easier. I absolutely hate GHWT's sliders, so Satch is gonna be really frsutrating and lucky most likey. I'm the one is gonna be luck on the strumming, then more luck not choking the outro. GHSH TTFAF is never gonna happen lol.

@@calebsawyer0719 I mentioned it in the description. I turned off hyperspeed and used the towel trick to simulate hyperspeed and it just worked.

its so much fun when you get that section. but literally just slide one finger across the keys all the way up and then back down a few times.

By far the hardest section in this game, probably one of the hardest in the entire series. Harder than any section in gh1 or 2 for sure, and I suspect the consensus of high level players would say it's harder than any single section in gh3, sh, m, or WoR, and probably only easier than I'm the one's solo, maybe Satch solo D depending on who you ask. I personally feel like Satch solo D is the second hardest section on disc, so I guess I'd personally say ballroom blitz has the 3rd hardest section on disc among all 11 games.

@@zooms7889 nah, ballroom blitz is harder than Trogdor is on PAL. Not only do you need to be doing a ridiculous technique that you can't even tell if you're doing properly (I can't really, at least not well enough for it to be meaningful), but ballroom blitz is also about 2x farther into the song, so you could get about 2x as many attempts at trogdor per hour. I am not consistent at all at ballroom blitz and still haven't FC'ed it, but I FC'ed trogdor 12+ years ago. Trogdor is easier than Bark at the moon which in turn is easier than ballroom blitz.

whats the towel trick?
The towel trick is a way to simulate hyper speed essentially. It's really only used on GH1 and RB1 because there is no hyperspeed on those games, but basically you drape a towel over your TV so that it partially covers the note highway. It doesn't have to be a towel, just anything to cover up part of the fret board. It basically decreases the time you can see a note, forcing you to react quicker (just like hyperspeed would). I used the towel trick for every GH1 video that I'm going to start uploading soon.
