How could jiu jitsu create mma when mma means mixed martial arts not jiu jitsu arts, in the early days of UFC the fighters all only had one discipline but obviously now they all cross train
I'll give you a quick history lesson, the gracies came up with jiu jitsu which then created vale tudo, which is basically no rules unarmed fighting, started challenging other styles of martial arts which then started getting popular and one of the gracies said hey why don't we start a tournament to see which martial art is the best and get different styles to fight each other, and guess what that tournament turned into the UFC.
@@chotreyes.phgilas9464 except the gracie version of MMA didn't have the gloves, or the rules. the 1990s era had headbutts, people wearing whatever the F. they want, Gis, all that. I used to think modern MMA rules slightly favor grapplers because no knees to the ground or soccer kicks. Then I saw buchecha kneeing Anderson SIlva (not "the spider" , a different anderson) on the head repeatedly and i think " Oh, today's rules are pretty fair". And fyi, false tappouts are extremely rare and almost never an issue . The last one i remember was probably lawler vs. Askren.

체급이 비슷한것 같지만 덩치차이가 나고 힘에서 완전 밀린것 같은 게임이다 타격만 하는 경기가 아니라면 체급을 더 세밀하게 조절할 필요가 있어보인다
피지컬 파워문제가 아니라 레슬링 그래플링 실력에서 넘사벽 차이. 부셰샤 주짓수 월드 챔피언 13회 기록으로 기네스북 오른 주짓떼로임. 다른 경기 봐도 1라운드 초반 첫 테이크다운 후 그라운드에서 다 끝내버리는 경우 많음. 강지원선수 레슬링 준비가 많이 부족했던듯

stomach issues. His next competition is probably 2022 adcc. maybe some warmup matches in between. Danaher has advised him against transitioning to MMA until someone from that group (new wave jiu jitsu) is good enough to take the mantle. I also think Gordon still wants to beat Galvao, and MAYBE avenge the Pena losses? i don't know though, maybe the Pena losses don't sting as much for Gordon . He's definitely the GOAT to many and he's 1-2 wins away from cementing it into a level of undisputable dominance.

I have heard that Danaha Said this although I do not 100% agree with Danaha. But its just my opinion. Galva is become old and his prime is past. @@thomasschieron4534 gordon's probably already the No-Gi goat and he has no plans of going Gi anytime soon so he probably agrees that he's not the Jiu-Jitsu GOAT. When asked this question usually Gordon and John refer to Roger Gracie. BUCHECHA probably has more total Gi+ No Gi accolades but both Roger and Gordon beat him so I dont think Gordon would want to rank someone he's already beat as the goat.

I keep seeing this. Good strikers getting handleed by good bjj guys. The clearest example I have seen is Rodtang vs Demetrius Jonhson MM. I will have to give it a try to bjj and not just muay thai/kickboxing. I fear those cauliflower ears though.
Yes! People keep saying good grappling isn't enough; good striking is important, but forget the opposite is true! The only reason we see dominant strikers in MMA today are becaude they are a product of evolution: they have become extremely adept and defensively responsible on the ground. Izzy trains with Galvao, Volkanovski trains with Craig Jones, Petr Yan has an entire group of dagestani and Russian guys to help him train wrestling/sambo/bjj. Even to an extent Conor's early prime sucess was because of having SBG as an MMA gym, and having dillon dannis help out to a decent ground game considering he swept Nate Diaz and escaped from chad Mendes. Go take your bjj trial class and HAVE FUN!!! join as many free trial classes you can and find the most positive, fun environment you can enjoy!

Nah buchecha just got the hooks in. It was an uphill battle from there. Plus, buchecha wasnt under the chin for a while, he cranked the choke with the chin still inside so it hurts- a lot.

Sure, there are some banger boxing fights, but there are boring ones too! it's all very subjective and dependent on what form of entertainment you're used to consuming. To me , grappling can be as fun as boxing, or mma, or kickboxing, or muay thai, depending on the people in the matches and what they do.
