Congratulations on your incredible journey around the world! Thank you for sharing your amazing adventures with us over the past three and a half years. We've loved watching every episode of your series, and your passion for sailing has been truly inspiring. Welcome back to France, and we can't wait to see where your sails take you next. Keep the sailing spirit alive! ⛵✨
Congratulations on completing your incredible journey around the world 🎉 Every single episode was absolutely captivating-I found myself hanging onto every moment, completely immersed in your adventure. You both have such wonderful personalities-so down-to-earth, genuine, and simply a joy to watch. It’s been an honor to witness your experiences, and I’m genuinely inspired by your passion and positivity. I already miss your videos and can't wait to see more once you have your next boat. Best sailing channel ever, thank you Mark & Marijke ❤
Congratulations on your circumnavigation and safe return! Thank you for sharing your journe with us, wonderful cinematography. As for the orca's, it beats me why French or Spanish or Portuguese (or EU) marine scientists have not yet tracked down and attached the problematic pod with tracking devices? Trackers can easily be linked to marine warning systems, sharing their hourly location so that boats avoid their vicinity. The technology exists; in South Africa they are tracking great white sharks and whales all the time - whales being easier as they spend most of their time on the surface. 🤷♂
Thank you for a wonderful journey around the world. I did not miss an episode and you gave us all a very nice respect for Outremer as a company as well as a boat
Congratulations to you both!! What a journey, and we have followed you all the way enjoying every video. A book! Can’t wait for that. Would love to see your presentation. Thanks for taking us along via You Tube!
Well your going to know what I say. Here it is Thank you for everything ❤️ what a sensational way and unique way to youtube your adventures 😊 Loved it Thank you Mal
Congratulations 🎉 Thank you for the nice videos of your adventure around the world. Nice that you were in Alvor again. We love the Algarve, especially Alvor, where we anchored for many months during the winter. Will you be sailing in the future? Maybe in Holland? All the best and best wishes from SY SURIA
My mind is not on Orcas, but on Outremers. As I read it, you bought a new Outremer 55 in 2021 and it has served you well. But now, after only three years of ownership, you are in the process of buying another Outremer 55 catamaran. You are happy with the design, and a three year old (almost) custom boat must take almost three years to sort out and fettle. I'm guessing there has been minimal change in the design, so perhaps you want a boat with a different set of options. Please would you give us a couple of paragraphs (or perhaps even a whole video), discussing technical aspects of the boat swap
@@davidherbert5027 I can do it in one line : we sold her 5 years ago on the day we bought her for the exact same price but after the rally…. Very relaxed feeling indeed (And the new boat won’t be an Outremer 55 😎)
@@CatGreatcircle Now I'm really curious "Sold her 5 years ago on the day we bought her"????? And if the new boat is not an Outremer 55, what will it be?
Seems like a good deal at the time or? In the meantime either inflation we could have made a profit though… For the final choice of the next boat you’ll probably have to wait until our presentation on the Cannes boat show on Friday the 13th
There is a limited signed first edition that will be available via Outremer on their stand on the Cannes Boat Show during a blue water seminar on Friday the 13th, where we will be presenting too. The French translation will be available just after Cannes and depending on demand I am sure we’ll find options to arrange a second print.
How do we get your book? So excited to see it and show the kids (now young adults) the famous couple we met in Aegina Greece all those years ago! -Jared
😂 well famous I don’t know. Let’s find out as the first print was just a limited number of copies that Outremer will distribute in Cannes …. I might see a first copy tomorrow. There might be a way to organize a second print if we have underestimated the demand. I did like to write the book and relive all those beautiful moments. It’s probably already worth having a look at the over a thousand pictures of the boat and our destinations all around the world
2 days ago we saw on the news that expert said that Orcas are playing not attacking. Apparently they have more than enough food in the area, specifically tunas…. So, Orcas are boring and they are playing a little with the trims and rudders of the boats.
I don’t really see a difference in them playing our rudders off or taking them off in a deliberate attack. We had plenty of rudder experiences around DC the world to want to skip these ones desperately
@@CatGreatcircle from the point of the rudder it’s the same but not from the Orcas. The results for boat are the same but the reality it’s they are not attacking…it’s only an appreciation.
@@arienoordzij3823no, the sea is our world too and has been for centuries. And more than that, we allow the orca’s to live, 100 years ago we would have already killed ‘em all off for that ‘playful’ behavior, now we don’t even correct their bad behavior.

Must be an amazing feeling to be back in LGM after sailing GC around the world🎉
Im proud of you guys 🫶
Love you chica ❤️!
Thank you for sharing your amazing journey - thus far!!! Super excited to see the adventures continuing... on 68-05??????
There are at least 8 hulls of the 68 sailing. A Gunboat is out of reach for us, but after an in between step, the end result might be even better.
Really, can’t we all just get along Mr and Mrs Orca? I mean, it’s a big ocean. You do you and we’ll do us.
If I now say Sade sang a song about this others will start about Timmy in afraid
wow what a beauty, dark blue hulll and black mast…..
Nice !!!
welcome home
Hi … been looking at your adventure …and I was wondering what are the options for a possible next vessel ?
We hope to know this very soon
Is that beautiful shot of the GB 72 at the end some foreshadowing?
The suspense is growing!

A little hint in the last few seconds, a Gunboat maybe?
In the end it might be better than a Gunboat, certainly for us
Mainsail failed just before the finish line!
It’s still alive en will sail us to Cannes and back! Pretty easy to repair #insigniatape
next boat aluminium, devilliers design 52 built in ozzy or KM. Delos are building one currently.
go anywhere you want, orcas ? who cares in aluminium.
Nope, we kind of like our performance still …
Maybe loud sounds disagreeable to orcas would deter the pests :)
You can call it a pest, but remember....WE are in THEIR world!
