so Lazada was on sale for the 11.11 event that they have. (yes, this video is scheduled :))) )
Then i saw, what i believe is the cheapest 17 key kalimba out there.
Of course, i needed to get it and give it a try!
and this is what this video will revolve around.

Hello! That kalimba is my very first kalimba, Ate Robin! At first I just wanna try out what it feels like playing a kalimba and that flatboard made me fall in love with kalimbas😍 It made such an impression for me so I keep on recommending it to my friends who wanna try out playing kalimbas with such affordable price.

This is the most realistic Kalimba ever this is what it should really cost and it's so easy to do it yourself even the Chromatic tone one. I wish everyone knows this and start making their own Chromatic Kalimba.

I bought one very similar kalimba, it was a little bit more expensive, but it came with a tuning tool and a canvas bag. I was shocked by its quality. It sounds better than my another branded and more expensive kalimba!
I would totally recommend that one as a gift or a first kalimba. Or even an addition to collection)

I got the same one from Shopee. It included a tuning hammer and a thumb protector. It came to me tuned and ready to play. No dead tines! I love how it’s very handy and resonant. It’s a very good kalimba for beginners. Thanks for doing a video on it.😍

Just received mine yesterday and am so happy with the sound and feel of the tines. I can tell the finish won't hold up to much abuse, but a few scratches won't affect how satisfying it is to play.

*Don't shy away from this one. I got me one. It came with a tuning hammer. It came in handy since it needed tuning. But, after that, it sounded sweet. I was so impressed that I even got the 21-key version to add to my collection. Yes, it also comes in 21-keys.*

I ordered a kalimba. The original price is $17 but it's on sale at shoppe that's why I get it for only $7. Excited na 'ko hihi. It has pouch, tunning hammer, stickers, pouch and cloth. I'm so excited, I can't stop reading the description and comments of the buyers. Mahogany wood kalimba, raindeer design. I have saw the acrylic one but when I saw it I have doubt so no. It's a no for me, beside the wooden kalimba caught my heart first

I am guilty of getting more than one Kalimba after i got my first hollow😆😅 got Nalu..Kimi.. (3rd Acrylic was sent to me by accident but it was cute and looked like a Sakura 🌸 shape with sakura stickers and discounted!so i kept it hehe) then i got the one intended on getting, the flat board Sakura.
I love all my Kalimbas ;w; gave them each their own note tuning too

Are you in North America? You can find them on AliExpress, and Amazon if you dig a bit, but getting one to the US effectively triples the cost. I'd love to see them everywhere for $5!

Same as my kalimba ♡ it sounds perfectly luckily when i chat the seller if it has a hammer and told me that it doesn't have because it is already in tune i told them that it is perfect for Christmas luckily they also sent me a tuning hammer and a silicon sleeve of the thumb 🥰🥰 budget kalimba that is perfect for beginners and for giving it a try to have a flat board as well ❣️ oh and I got it for just 150 pesos in lazada because of the first time user account 100 pesos voucher last 12.12

I got my own kalimba on Jun 24, 2021. I remember the exact date because I am dying to have one. I have a hollow now and I am very much happy with it. Today, I just ordered that kalimba because I wanted to have a flat board. Lol. Soon enough I will be collecting more 🤣

I literally just checked out a $4 worth of Kalimba+hammer+bag with discounts and coupons already because coincidentally it's 11.11 also right now. I got mine from shopee and it's a white wood kalimba. I bought it impulsively so in a few days my first Kalimba would be here. Im still not sure if I would stick to it but I seriously have to have a hobby besides being on my phone 24/7😅
Hello! My first kalimba is worth around 700 from shopee. It sounds similar to this but has the shortest tines a little stiff. Complete with hammer, cloth, stickers, and manual!

Woah, $5? The cheapest kalimba I could find in New Zealand is like $20. The only ones I saw that were about $5 were 8 key kalimba but then you gotta pay another $5 for shipping anyway. This is on cheap websites like aliexpress. I can’t find any 17 key kalimbas for less than $20 and those are the very very cheap ones.

I already own two kalimbas and have been playing for almost 7 months. I'm looking to get a wooden flatboard kalimba to add to my collection (I have a hollow kalimba and an acryic kalimba). Do you think this is a kalimba I could invest in? Cause I do know how to play and how to tune, and I'm not a beginner anymore. I'm just wondering if this is high enough quality for someone who's not a beginner anymore hehe
