- Our experience traveling to Costa Rica during Covid-19. Let us preface by saying we felt very safe and comfortable our entire time in Costa Rica.
Today we made our way up to La Fortuna! But first we had to stop at two iconic landmarks in Costa Rica, Poás Volcano and La Paz Waterfall! What a start to our Costa Rica Trip!

do you need 4x4 to get there?
do you recommend buying the tickets in advance or day of?
Yeah definitely! They require that you buy tickets online and reception is very spotty at the entrance. So it'll save you a ton of time and hassle to get them beforehand.

We went at the end of May/early June
Lots if stairs....
Looks at those tiny cages for the larger animals. I'd be embarrassed to pay money to support that "sanctuary".
