Yes, Malcolm is one of a kind. After going through all the trauma, he does not take that as an excuse to become reckless, irresponsible and a serial killer or at least a bully. He has grown into a well understanding, caring and loving person. Every time he goes beyond his limits to save a life, I feel he could have been a great doctor. He understood his sister even after she broke his heart into pieces. You just can't stop falling in love with him.
The fact that she says "can I change?" Shows that she is not a psycopath, because like Malcom said psycopaths dont think theres nothing wrong with them. Like Martin feels special and wants to turn his kids like him because its fun and "nothing with it"
Just because Ainsley might not be a psychopath, does not mean something is not wrong with her. She has always had sociopathic tendencies, and quite possibly multiple personalities. Also, she is lying and manipulating Malcolm, in this scene. He has a difficult time profiling her, due to a bias of her being his younger sister.
@@ChienaAvtzon I havent watch the episode , so Ill have to check on that but even if she was manipulating Malcom, she asked her father if she could "change", so what I said sticks but she clearly killed someone and stabbed him no one is denying that, but her mind blocking it for months to protect her shows she is not full psycopath (at least not yet) and Malcom cut his body and enjoyed doing it so, they all are messed up. But I think Aisnley has more of daddy issues than completely psycopath.
@@ChienaAvtzon sociopaths are made, maybe she will be a sociopath--- I dont know. but if Martin knows she is a psycopath like him, why is still obssesed with Malcom?
@@magaencina2863 Thats a very good question. I thought about it several times. I think there are or there might be multiple reasons. First of all I think Malcolm is appealing to Martin. He is hard to get. He is intelligent, talented and indifferent towards Martin and that makes Marting want him more. He finds Malcolm’s skills interesting but of course thats not the reason why he loves him and is obsessed with him it is just a part of it. Apparently his love and obsession for him comes from earlier times when Malcolm was a kid. Maybe its because he was his first child, but why did he bond with him? Not with his wife or a murder buddy or Ainsley who was born later? Why not them? I need a little more of their background story to come up with the most accurate answer to this question but for now I think that Malcolm was his first child and firsts are important and unique and Martin is capable of love and by the way I also think that Martin might have had a abusive father who didnt love him so he turned into this serial killer of course he had tendencies in nature but having a bad and unloving father (i think he might have daddy issues ) might have made him the way he is now, brought the monster in him into light. So since he had never had a loving father he wanted to create this relationship with his one and only son; Malcolm. Cuz most of the time Martin is like a little kid who seeks attention from and approval of Malcolm. These are all theories of course, as the show goes on I will come up with more solid thoughts.
When a psychopath cries often they wipe underneath their eyes one at a time opposed to someone who is naturally allowing tears to flow. Normal people wipe tears away from their eyes all at once. Watch this clip one more time and pay attention to those tears.
This girl is so charismatic, smart and does what she loves, shows that she cares for her family, but nothing is true. She is the exact replica of her father.
Yeah I still don’t know if Ainsley’s a psychopath. I mean I feel like they lined it up to seem that way. But also Ainsley just seems messed up and scared at the same time. So...
Exactly she has shown caring for her mom and brother. She didnt want malcom to see her dad and she told him he should go to the police to say what he did. Also HER MIND blocked what she did for months to protect her from the trauma... psycopaths dont feel trauma for killing someone. At least she is not there yet, idk what the writers plan to. I dont want Ains and Malcom enemies or after each other😕
@@magaencina2863 yes thank you! Ainsley more than anything comes off as being manipulated by Martin. And her being desperate for attention and isolated by her actions and no idea how to properly deal with it just runs with it. Cuz it’s easier than her facing how helpless she felt that night with Endicott. Also the way she kept talking about it. “Murder stuff” “we’ve done well in regards to this murder”. She’s so distant from the action. More like she figured out what happened, not remembered the actual deed. But again just my thoughts...

It turns out that Malcolm wasn't the particle son after all. It was actually Ainsley Whitley The prodigal daughter. Daughter like Daddy.

It's crazy that even though Ainsley is the clear psychopath, Malcolm is still Martin's first choice
