Countdown is still on air in 2021 - started in November 1982 and has never ended. Even now it is taped without a studio audience and socially distanced. Stephen Fry said it is one of those shows which you could stop watching in 2011 and know a decade later you can return and it is still there. A safety blanket for viewers.
Thanks for helping those of us in the USA see this great show. We know it's done at risk, but this is one of the better game shows out there.
