Just bought a pre-owned Premium 3.0T 2017 Q7 and I love it. In midnight black & has bigger wheels and special rims than the ones shown on this vid. I didn’t see anything much different from the 2021 Q7 except the new one obviously has an upgraded infotainment system and interior.. and an uglier grill.. (in my humble opinion LOL) was just looking for a nice family car for me and my two young kids and its extremely roomy and safe-feeling. Great drive and quiet cabin. Saved about $35k by buying pre-owned. If you have the extra bucks get a new one because why not but if you’re just looking for a nice used family suv which still has a luxury feel and timeless design, the 2017 Q7 does a great job.
Agree, older grill's look better. still have my 2017 Q7. Its a great car. relatively cheap on maintenance... saved about the same buying cpo with extended Audi factory warranty. enjoy!!
@@rashard8386they are not trouble free, but I like mine. The most upsetting problem I've had is the panoramic roof leaked, stained the headliner. Had to rip the whole liner out to fix the drain hoses which warp over time. I also had issues with the spark plug wiring harness overloading and actually melting, which left me stranded. Had to splice in new wires. They have a nice quality feel to them. All in all, they are going to cost you on maintenance but they'll last if you are willing to pay.
Didn't really care for the design of the new Q7 when it came out cause I felt it was too conservative looking compared to the older model, but I really like it now lol. Looks clean af. I love Audi :)
Been watching your channel for 4 years now. My god has your channel changed so much. Keep up the great work Sofyan! Would love to see some videos of the newer Ford and Mercedes products in the future.
Thanks for sticking by us! There are still a few brands that we do not get press cars for and Mercedes and Ford are some of them. We won't give up though and hopefully we can add them to our fleet rotation soon :)
I honestly really like the design of the new Q7. It is very conservatively styled, but is still extremely sleek. Also, I am really liking the color of that interior. From one car reviewer to another, keep up the great work, Sofyan!
ron s Tell me about it, nothing beats first person view and showcasing how it feels to enter the damn thing you're reviewing. Little things like that, matter.
Great car, But for over 70 grand they're insane. It's good, but not that good lmao. The fact that it's possible to put nearly 40k worth of options into this thing at the end of the day is nuts even for a German car.
TheHvk Absolute bullshit German cars are expensive because they use the best materials and their cars are much better designed and engineered than other cars. As the saying goes "you get what you pay for".
@Bobby Parv, Absolutely!!! That's why 90% of German autos shit the fuckin bed the day the warranty is up. I drive a German car (VW) and I"ll admit it's amazing to drive, but It's a fucking ticking timebomb as far as reliability goes. Especially compared to it's Japanese competitors.
There are few Japanese vehicles that drive like them though. Lexus is competitive now, but you need to go for the full on F models to get anything remotely fast. Infiniti is a bit better, but not quite Lexus reliable. Acura makes snoozefest vehicles with crappy interiors.
I've always really liked these rides from years ago to present, There are just great all around practical luxurious capable vehicles! Well put together video bro
re $5000 stereo upgrade: that's only about $3.40 per day on a 48 mo lease. so basically, one starbucks coffee per day for the best auto stereo available. It's worth it. just sayin.
This new Q7 was a toss-up with the new Volvo XC90 for me. Ultimately I went with the XC90 since the Audi dealer arrogantly refused to negotiate off the sticker price. The Volvo stickered about $800 less than the Audi but the dealership took $4,000 off their sticker price which was an offer I couldn't refuse. The Q7 is more performance oriented than the XC90, but Volvo definitely offers more standard technology and luxury than Audi does. The key word there is "standard", and not overpriced bundled options like all German carmakers force upon us. American luxury car shopper: "You mean I have to spend an extra $3,000 for a backup camera and heated seats package"? German luxury car dealer: "Ja". (Sprockets theme music plays in background).
Ultimately, when you are spending this much on a premium vehicle, you pay more to get exactly what you want...that's why it's not a problem for my husband and I to pay more for our precise wants and needs and get the Audi. The 2L engine is just not enough in the Volvo, the Audi is smooth, and silent and Volvo still has a certain 'old person' image in the UK.
Excellent vehicle!! Another great aspect to this is that Audi has improved their reliability greatly over these past few years. If Consumer Reports is to be believed, you won't have that many issues with this car down the line. Especially for a German car.
These Europeans SUVs are really luxurious but the problem with them is that they aren’t very utilitarian. They can’t haul or tow as much as a Nissan patrol or a Chevy Tahoe. They also don’t give you as much protection as a body on frame SUV. Still really like the Q7 tho.
These Q7 have so many options that it's hard to find the right one. I'm looking for a 2017 with tow hitch, warm weather package (cooled seats), vision package, driver assistance package, heads up display, and white exterior (as a nice to have as I feel that color just pops with this SUV). Didn't know that the massaging seats where part of the luxury package tho ! And the Bang and Olufsen 23 speaker must sound incredible :) I would also love a carbon finish instead of wood. I've always thought of wood interiors as being for retirees.
Its nice and all but these "premium" cars are just getting crazy expensive and pretentious. In the end, no matter how great it is, its all just disposable. Great review though.
Totally worth the $5K? For the sound system? Honestly...If you live in this car that would still be a bit too much! Let alone used only when driving or impressing your friends!
The same B&O system is also an option in the XC90. If you want a more “value” option in the Q7, the Bose 16-speaker system is just a $500 upgrade over the stock audio.
I love that full length vent and the temperature readings housed within the knobs. Just so far out of reach for non-vps or execs. Guess I'll have to wait until I'm in my 40s or something.

I love this car a lot, but the entertainment screen is a little too far back in the dash. But I know they put it father back so that it can hide away inside the dash, because it would interfere with the air vents if it was bigger and closer to the vents. That’s my opinion though, and my vision sucks so...🤷🏼♂️
As well as the all glass roof that will be going away soon on many vehicles unless they will be making a heat guard so the vehicles don’t get hot as this is number one complaint from consumer today for those moonroofs
A 10" pop up display will be too big especially if someone short is driving it will be an obstruction.my wife is short so it stays down .the drivr assist if really good your pretty much driving in a semi autonomous vehicle it stays in the lane even around corners .the trick is to barely keep your hand on the steering wheel otherwise it will deactivate
Its a great car but i'm very picky when it comes to buttons such as the heated and cooled seat buttons. I hate that Audi just has the facing to the left. Rather the buttons should face to their seat. For example the right seat gets the buttons picture facing to the right, then the left has the picture facing to the left. Just seeing that (in my opinion) design flaw makes me turn away from Audi. If you are going to be a premium brand, at least have the proper attention to detail to make the cars interior look upscale and as if a fair amount of money was put into. And I know Audi isn't the only brand to do it. Honda/Acura does it, Ford/Mercury does it, Toyota/Lexus does it, Mercedes does it, even Chrysler/Jeep, were doing it like that before they changed it.
