"Drop" is when the electro epic part comes and everyone goes crazy and makes you jump like in 3:05 , 4:40 or 8:39 minutes.
Thats why NME said "enough with drops" bcs he is going to do something different
I wasn’t that into loop battles back in 2019 but this was one of the battles that made me really pay closer attention to it. Also one before this match up (NME vs Brez). Now there are so many amazing loopers out there. Thank you for checking this one out. Esh

In MY opinion, the newer gen of loopers rely too much on the extra devices, I'd rather listen to like MB14 or Robin, but I can see the appeal for them, it's just not really beatbox anymore. 2019 was still pretty sick though.
@@Phals The looper I listen to the most is Josh O so I understand what you mean. I’m not much of a fan of loops that sounds too synthetic either but I also do like listening to Kristof’s Superman round against Josh O 😅
@@robyd Nice, yeah I like Josh O, haven't digged much into his stuff but what he did for the KBB was pretty cool. Kristof makes the extra device work, he always adds small details in his tracks that are natural or pure beatbox with no effect to keep a good balance, Superman is a banger for sure.

I really recommend you check out all of Saro’s loop station rounds. From 2017 GBB solo loop station and 2018 Beatbox world Championship. In which he won both. Especially worth checking out are MB14 vs Saro, Camaro vs Saro, Tioneb vs Saro, also NME vs Saro. Other loop to check out is MB14, MB14 showcases especially. 🔥 reaction.

The guy in the red jacket as a judge was Tom Thum. He did the most popular TedEx talk and has so much respect around the beatbox community. Same thing with the glasses guy judge with the hoodie. Beardyman. big og
what for me makes the drop (my favorite loopstation drop) at 8:35 hit so hard is the camera mans perfect movement
Rythmind didn't win cause his performance was more technical, I actually is the opposite: NME was more technical, but he try to do something different from all routines beatboxer do in thees loopstation competition, they usually make a routine to hype for the drop but NME says "for one time enough with the drops". What he did it's epic and could be a movie soundtrack.
But judges sadly didn't appreciate the innovation...
Rythmind won 3-2 so I’m pretty sure they did

I gave it to NME for his originality, NME is a TITAN in this. IDK what the judges saw but even the crowd gave it to NME.
I totally think there was a misjudgment with not making NME the winner here. I mean his first round destroyed Rythmind and his second round was so incredibly powerful at showing what beatbox is capable of!
@@bitsobaconbits4295 To me NME's first round was kind of meh for everything except the drop. Took very long to get it started and kept the rap part going for way too long. Rythmind's round was great from beginning to end. Second round, idk, what NME did was cool, but just didn't feel right to me for a battle. It's like if someone in a solo beatbox battle spends 80% of the round only singing. Rythmind's second round didn't feel that strong to me, but still solid and he ended it off with a nice battle move.
