When the Hurricane comes, Dallas is the city you evacuate to and Houston is the city you evacuate from. So I like being in a city that does not need evacuation.

Abel Ramirez Dallas people like to say there’s no rivalry until you point out how Houston is better in some small way. Then they go ape-s*** and start screeching about the Cowboys and how that somehow makes their city better in every way
Houston DEFINITELY doesn't have zoning laws. In less than 2 miles you can find a neighborhood, slums, a library, a church, a strip club, welfare assistance, and a high end shopping center all in a small area!
Then you don’t know what zoning laws are and result to. The Netherlands typically sees a lot of neighborhoods with stores, supermarkets, restaurants, and a whole bunch of appartements in one building in suburbia you’ll barely find a store in a residential street
Houston won my heart last year. Cancer research saved my family from a bad situation and during the two weeks we were there getting my dad treated we never ran into an unfriendly person.
Despite the prediction, it doesn't look like much trash talking here...as much as there might be a rivalry....we Texans are pretty proud of all of our cities....just my opinion....
I lived in Texas for almost ten years and I believe that Houston, San Antonio, and Fort Worth are the best of your major cities. Dallas is okay for the most part but its arrogance pushes it down several notches. Austin is unfriendly and overrated as well as architecturally hideous. It resembles a massive, soulless suburb that is in search of a major city.
@Anthony Harris the thing that forced me out of Austin was the unreasonably high rents, low wage scales, and the arrogant attitudes. I cant imagine what Austin is like now and much rather not know..
Why would there be a rivalry in football? The texans and cowboys aren't even in the same conference.I remember when I was a child Houston had no football team. The cowboys just won the super bowl and everyone in Houston was cheering for the cowboys. As soon as the Texans became a team things changed. Even a news reporter from Houston said, "Even if we lose every game, as long as we beat dallas." There is a type of jealousy from houston when it comes to dallas.
J. T. I agree with “Free facts” either city is will do they’re both big in restaurants that you’ll be able to find a job cooking any kind of food you want. Not sure about now with this whole COVID thing, but when things get back to normal 👍🏾

What part of Houston have you been to where long sleeves are worn? The hospital? The cold food section? A freezer? Because those are the only cold places in Houston
My previous boss: There's so much diversity! So many types of foods! People are so welcoming, really laid back. I really thought Texas was going to be different. Me: Where are you from? Him: Utah. Me:😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 well that's why!
Dallas is humid as hell too, just slightly less than Houston. But the feels like temperature (heat index) is almost the same for both cities. Houston's slightly higher humidity offsets Dallas's slightly higher temperatures
Fort Worth is for community, Dallas is for business, and Arlington is for entertainment. Still since we're in the topic of rivalry (going to be bais): 1. Fort Worth Zoo had been ranked in the top 10 zoo in the US, while Dallas Zoo had already killed off couple of young animals that barely lived an entire year. 2. Dallas is currently dealing with corruption in the Mayor team (city councilors), while Fort Worth haven't in the past decades (Democrat vs Republican). 3. Dallas used to had Little Mexico near it's Downtown, but tear it down to make way for Victory Park and the American Airlines Stadium. Fort Worth never done that, and still had it's historic Hispanic neighborhoods (West Seminary and Northside). 4. American Airlines (major hub for DFW airport), has it headquarters at the Fort Worth side, and currently their new Headquarters is still located at the Fort Worth (or Tarrant County) side. 5. Fort Worth is currently making an effort to make their city walkable (Panther City projects), but also has more parks (Trinity Park is near downtown), and a nature preservation (Fort Worth Nature & Refuge). Dallas have Kyle Park, but also Trinity Forest (tho it was menmade). Dallas also have a project that make their city more walkable (Trinity River Corridor Project). 6. Oh yeah the Stockyards is in Fort Worth, and was part of the Cattle Drive, not Dallas (except the train of course).
@@iammrbeat Arlington has all the cool attractions. AT&T Cowboys Stadium, The new Texas Rangers Stadium (set to open in 2020), Six Flags Over Texas and Hurricane Harbor. Unfortunately, it's also become one of the largest cities in the country without public transit. As for DART, I'm not a big fan because it's incredibly slow and not on time very much. Also, the DFW Area is just so extensive that it takes a long time to get everywhere on DART. As for the NHL possibly coming to Houston. They is a growing effort to get a NHL Team in Houston right now that could be a reality soon (possibly if a team like the Arizona Coyotes, Florida Panthers or Ottawa Senators were to move in the not to distant future).
@@lordhelmit1499 There is snow on the street in front of my house right now, and it's 18 degrees outside. This one is a particularly nasty 2 week winter.
Hopefully Houstin will surpass New York in the number of fortune 500 headquarters since it is a better and easier city for business than overtaxed, overcrowded New York City.
Yeah...we like to poke fun at each other but they're relatively similar. My wife is from Dallas but we live in Houston. One thing where Dallas simply can't hang with Houston is the food. Houston food scene is f'in insane!
As a Houstonian I would like to say thank you for the comparison and mention. Honestly though, Texas is there greatest place to live anywhere. You could do a series about comparing any other place to Texas. Same goes for California, except not as great as Texas. Go Stros!
Best part of Texas was when the market crashed in 2008 Texas wasn't ass affected than the rest of the states. We can basically be our own country and maintain a stable economy.
I've been in Houston for 6 years and I love it. I dont know if I'm ever going back to New Orleans because I love the vibe of Houston so much. After 5 years here, I'm proud to say that I'm a SW Veteran. 😛
I've lived in both cities and like them both. I like the Galleria in Houston and like hanging out in Kemah. It's nice occasionally getting cold weather in Dallas.
Dallas is my city and I love it. We have to be the rivals of Houston, just because. But one thing everyone in Dallas and Houston will agree with, it’s pretty damn nice to be in Texas.
Aside from professional sports, I really don't see much of a rivalry anymore. I think both cities have pretty much outgrown that now that they're both big, diverse, multicultural cities. I still see some bickering on the internet and occasionally hear older people talk smack, but after having lived in both cities I honestly never heard it much in either one. Most of the people I know either didn't have an opinion at all, or they actually spoke positively about the other city.
@@khriskhaid6860 Hurricanes are mostly misses but once in a few years we might get a direct hit in Houston. We get more flooding from tropical storms than a direct hit from hurricanes. Nowadays it seem like flooding happens at least once or twice a year during hurricane season. Part of the reason why it floods badly is because the way Houston build their infrastructures. Too many pavements and roads block any possibilities for the water to run off or absorb into the ground.
For real tho, nice to have you here, I live in the greater houston area too. I just hope you remember how all your government's attempts to fight injustice and inequality only made it worse. Please remember, the real answer might not be in outlawing independent contractors and building nice apartments to give away for free to the homeless that never get built because of bureaucracy. Sometimes it comes from not seizing crowdfunded miniature homes, and letting the free market work itself out. My family moved from cali in 2001 when i was a baby. I think you'll like it here after a while.
Houston is has more to do that Dallas and it's close to the water but it's a wreck and the land area is too big. Dallas is centric and everything is more organized. Sure it's smaller but the downtown is actually fun. I wish houston had a district like Austin with 6th st, Memphis with Beale st, or New Orleans with Bourbon st. In Houston everything is spread all over the place. I do like the weather better in dallas but being able to have a water front home is nice. Either city is great in my opinion.
I live in the DFW metroplex and must say that Dallas has a safer climate due to less flooding and no hurricanes. 100+ degree days are commonplace during the summer, but the dewpoints are generally in the upper 60s to lower 70s. With dewpoints near 80 during the summer, Houston feels like a tropical island.
@@stx43203 Houston floods every year now and I have not seen large hail or tornadoes in my area for the last three years, so don't get me started on that.
I feel that the Dallas skyline is better than Houston’s. Houston’s is slightly taller, but the Dallas entire skyline can now largely sync up with LED lights for different themes on different nights, and is a little more aesthetically pleasing
Gael Torres nice grammar, man. The Dallas skyline is 10x more recognizable than Houston’s. Houston’s looks miscellaneous as hell. There’s only two buildings that are unique and distinguishable from other skylines
I’ve lived in both and I definitely prefer Houston. That’s why I moved back this year. Keeping it real....... Dallas people are not that friendly. And Houston has way more restaurants
King Gon yeah I saw quite a bit of black people but I already had friends that lived there from college. But the black people there can be uppity so I stuck to my crew.
Jennifer Gellar YES! That would be the best I could pop down to Houston and see family without all that traffic! This is a genius idea! I’m excited for something that may never happen.
According to Dallas Magazines it will just take about 90 minutes from Dallas to Houston and I heard that there was problem with landlords. I think it now solved and will start to construct the plan. We can work in either city by that time. More information: www.texascentral.com/project/
As someone who has lived in Dallas for nearly their whole life, I can tell you that we don't actually get tornadoes that often. We get more microbursts than tornadoes, at least in the area I live in.
Microbursts are no small matter mind you. They can drop like bombs and eerily destroy a single house on the block , leaving all the others essentially untouched. I’ve only seen it happen in the Midwest though...
Maybe the DFW metroplex doesn’t get as much tornadoes as you think, but compared to most parts of the country that is actually true, it is on the southern end of “Tornado Alley” which stretches up north towards the midwestern states. Oklahoma is definitely the worst.
I'm from Texas, lived in both cities and must say Houston is my home. I currently live in Maryland and planning on going back! There's no place like Texas!
Beat Man, Houston is obviously the better of the two cities. Mr. Armstrong, the guy who landed the space shuttle on the moon, called Houston to let them know what he did.
@Gerald P Idgaf. I'm just happy to live in the USA. I could have been born in a 3rd world country. I dont understand the rivalry between states and cities. We are the UNITED states of AMERICA after all...
I always felt Dallas was pretty clean for a big city, especially a lot of the suburbs. There's traffic, but compared to driving in Houston (or worse, Austin), it feels way easier to get around Dallas. I was always amazed about how easy it was to get to & from downtown with such little effort.
I think the rivalry was mostly a late seventies through eighties thing. We hated the "America's Team" rhetoric and the Cheerleaders. And we hated that "Dallas" was a primetime hit. There was for a year a daytime soap called "Texas" set in Sugar Land and Houston. It flopped. There was a crime drama called Houston Knights that aired only a few episodes and was publicly denounced by the mayor, the chief of police, and the county DA. At this point the rivalry is over. Houston now pretends it is some kind of medieval Free City with special access to the governments in Austin and Washington DC.
I love Houston for the easy access diverse food, parks, and different housing styles but the humidity is killer. Dallas is full of suburbs but all round a pretty great city.
I’m inclined to say Houston is better but it isn’t really fair because I’ve lived in Houston and only ever driven through Dallas. Houston has one of the best parades in the world: the Art Car Parade.
I don’t know. There are parts of Dallas that have become slums. I feel like you moved somewhere bad in Houston to somewhere nice in Dallas. I believe there are simply more opportunities in Houston.
Haven't lived anywhere else, but I feel like the hoods in Dallas are pretty friendly actually lol. Still bad with crime and poverty, but the people are just great.
@@texasboss5877 exactly! I loved there for 9 months and while I liked the non flat city cause the views were amazing, but when I got back to houston, I loved it even more!!!!!

Gotta disagree on the skyline, Houston might have a bigger skyline but you can't beat the looks of the Dallas skyline. Doesn't matter the angle reunion tower makes the whole skyline look beautiful
reddit had a thread about best skylines in the world and Dallas was actually featured pretty high on it. I was genuinely shocked that it was even on there but people cited reunion tower and fountain place as giving the skyline a very recognizable look
ranking skylines shouldn't be about height, it should be about overall appearance. In that category, Dallas wins (as a houstonian). Although in a few decades time if the Galleria and Texas medical center keep developing we will have a more expansive skyline
I live in Houston and have never really seen any rivalry between Dallas and Houston. We all get along in the Lone Star. Now New Orleans is another story. Texas. The greatest Country in the United States.
Agreed! Never heard of a rivalry until you talk to a person from Houston. Ask a person from Dallas & they’re like, what rivalry? It’s all love.. all TEXANS!
Texas Medical Center has a better skyline than Dallas tbh lol can you imagine that xD it isnt even Houston's main skyline. Houston has like 5 different skyscrapers concentrations
Drew Butler nice but if you think about it there is nothing else to do in Houston that’s why the closed there 6 flags but 1 thing we can all agree on is Austin Texas is one of the best city’s to Live in!
As a New Yorker, from the NYC metro... Houston...Houston is better. But Dallas is also better. Unless you take into consideration the ocean which houston is a short trip from orrr the job market in Dallas... eitherway--this new Yorker loves Texas and I love both Dallas and Houston. Equally.
Bruh the beaches in texas arent good anyways so the ocean shouldnt really matter, everyone in texas know that galveston has murky brown water to the point where everyone got surprised when the water went blue. Our beaches are only good for fishing
Emmanuel Ojeda Galveston is brown half the time, but the other half it’s usually greenish blue. Texas beaches don’t stop at Galveston though, corpus southward are usually blue. Also having grown up in Hou, and now stuck in San Antonio. I really miss Galveston. And brown water? Go at sunset, doesn’t matter anyways. I miss it. Also most US beaches aren’t that great. Just having one is a nice plus for a city
As someone who's lived around Dallas all my life I got to say the seasons things is inaccurate. We have 3 seasons of summer, with one week of mild "winter". :P Seriously if you don't like the heat Texas is not for you. I've lived here all my life and still ain't used to it. As a houston resident but frequent Dallas visitor, I enjoy Dallas a lot more. I believe their skyline is nicer as well. The city looks cleaner and grass on the side of highways is mowed. While both are similar Houston just seems a little dirtier and not as maintained as Dallas. Either cities are great places to live regardless and offer pretty much the same things
I was also in Houston the same time the Rockets won 2 championships. It was an exciting time. Then they traded 5 of our best players for Charles Barkley...ugh!
Grew up in Austin, brother moved to Dallas, mom moved to Houston, dad stayed in Austin and I moved to San Antonio. Been to all of them numerous times. I like San Antonio best, then Houston, then Austin, last place goes to Dallas.
Well, there did used to be a very intense rivalry, and a lot of bad blood. Fortunately that rivalry has faded off and is mainly only a thing with people 65 years or older anymore.
I'm from Baltimore been to both cities plenty of times I moved to Houston so there's my answer. I also prefer SW Houston it just gives me more of the city feel that I'm used to.
Definitely South west side of Houston(thats where i grew up at) but the south side of houston overall is poppin..alot of clubs, bars, closer to Galveston island and has the galleria mall (top 10 biggest malls in america)

I am from Houston, and I thought it was a good video. Very fair to both cities. I really dont hate on Dallas, they are just as Texan as the rest of us, we have to stick together.
i grew up in dallas and moved to houston recently. i still remember all the looks i'd get when i wore cowboys jackets to school,,, houstonians truly take the rivalry way more seriously 🙄🤚
ツmary and I wish a Houstonian would tell me a legit reason why they hate Dallas other than saying ( because it’s Dallas or Dallas sucks) like I thought it was just because of the cowboys but they literally hate the city or anything dallas.
Imagine being from Dallas thinking you’re competing with Houston😪😪😪 Son of all places you straight up see people on horses if you go to the right places. And many people wear cowboy stuff to school. Stop that fr fr😪😪😪
I dunno. When I lived in Houston I almost never met anybody that actually hated Dallas. Hating the Cowboys is something totally different, and not unique to Houston. People hate the Cowboys all over the country. I currently live in the Seattle area and I hear just as much anti-Cowboys talk up here as I ever did in Houston. Typically whenever Dallas came up in a conversation (when I lived in Houston), people were either neutral and didn't have much of an opinion, or they actually said good things. That was my experience at least, and I lived in Houston for 6 years. I know there's supposed to be this big rivalry, but from what I can tell it's mainly just a bunch of loudmouths on the internet doing all the shit-talking. In the real world I don't think it's really much of an issue. Maybe in the past?
I have lived in both cities and mistakenly misjudge Dallas. I currently live in Houston and I regret moving from Dallas, which has more to offer, better nightlife, cleaner, safer, more fun.
Too bad Houston isn't doing well when it comes to crimes... I think it has to do with its infamous lack of zoning. Not to mention humidity there sucks. I love Houston regardless, though.
As a Houstonian that lives in Dallas - I got to say that I enjoy Dallas more over all. BUT, the food in Dallas is nowhere near Houston's level in my humble opinion.
basically in dallas you can breathe normally but in houston you need a water bottle everywhere you go. (unless its winter or fall) the temperature in houston may not be high but dont let that fool you. It may be 90 degrees but it feels like 120. Also Its usually people in houston who have this rivalry and people in dallas usually dont care. My brother was once wearing a dallas cap in Houston and people started to get offended
Dallas is humid as hell too, just slightly less than Houston. But the feels like temperature (heat index) is almost the same for both cities. Houston's slightly higher humidity offsets Dallas's slightly higher temperatures
Houstonians get offended when people from Dallas go to their city but when they come to our city they are welcomed never understood why they started the beef with Dallas
@I Am Who I Am To be honest, that's not a very common attitude in Dallas at all. I get that attitude a lot more commonly in Charleston, South Carolina, and also in some parts of New England (especially Vermont). That's the main cultural difference between Mississippi and Alabama actually: MS hates and is instantly suspicious of outsiders, whereas AL tends much more of an open, individualistic vibe.
@@JayJay-hg7db Dallas Police are the only chill ones but the rest of the PD like Irving, Grand Prairie, Mesquite, Farmers Branch, Garland etc been on some shit

I don't think it's a real rivalry. I think it's more of a talk trash to each other when our teams play each other sort of rivalry. Which everyone has. We just happened to share the same state so they try to make it a bigger deal than it is in actuality.
I have no beef with this aside from Houston supposedly having a better skyline..... idgaf about how tall the buildings are Dallas has SUCH an aesthetically pleasing skyline. Even without reunion tower!
At night, I agree....but during the daytime, Houston's downtown skyline is striking, and the Galleria area is like a whole other large city. Dallas also has multiple skylines, but nothing like that. Houston's Bank of America Tower, Pennzoil Place, 609 Main and Williams Tower are trophy towers IMO. Reunion Tower and Fountain Place are Dallas' trophy towers IMO. Houston has a lot of bland buildings, but there are some absolute gems....old and new....in between. Houston may have the best architecture in the world from the 80's.
@@paulstewart11 Bank of America is literally the most lit up building in Dallas at night. Don't forget AT&T HQ and the Omni Hotel that has lighting all around it with custom messages.

I’ve lived in both but Houston was much better. Houston has way more options if you want to go out and have fun or explore. The only downside is that Houston has like triple the urban sprawl so if you want to go anywhere you have to drive a ways
That is the only thing I hated about Houston when I spent weekends and holidays there during my Army days at Fort Polk. It is too car centric and too low density. Otherwise it is a great city with so much to see and do.
Mr. Beat no state is better than California. Where do you think RUclips, smartphones, social media, etc come from? HOUSTON IS HUMID AS HELL!!!!!
SO IS NEW ORLEANS AND MIAMI IF NOT MORE MY FRIEND!
Dallas is humid as hell too, just slightly less than Houston. But the feels like temperature (heat index) is almost the same for both cities. Houston's slightly higher humidity offsets Dallas's slightly higher temperatures
@Cool Dude I just came from Dallas and it’s in the 80-95 it’s always wet and hot which makes me feel really uncomfortable
@@watermelon_boi That's nothing compared to Houston humid
@Ahsuhyah Arts yea my bad I mean it’s wet and humid in Houston and cool in Dallas
Now do Dallas and Fort Worth compared. You will be seriously surprised by the fierce rivalry between Dallas and Fort Worth.
I mean Dallas doesn't really think about Houston or Fort Worth... I didn't know we had a rivalry with either city until I turned 21.
But what about Arlington? Is it just stuck in the middle trying to break up the fight? :D
Really isnt a rivalry, there is Dallas and then there is Ft worth in its shadow.
Fort Worth is for community, Dallas is for business, and Arlington is for entertainment.
Still since we're in the topic of rivalry (going to be bais):

I was also in Houston the same time the Rockets won 2 championships. It was an exciting time. Then they traded 5 of our best players for Charles Barkley...ugh!
And now we have westbrook which is a major upgrade from Chris paul
P. J. Tucker might be the most underrated player in the league

Grew up in Austin, brother moved to Dallas, mom moved to Houston, dad stayed in Austin and I moved to San Antonio. Been to all of them numerous times. I like San Antonio best, then Houston, then Austin, last place goes to Dallas.
I love San Antonio. I agree with your order!
As a houstonian, I must say Mr Beat be killing it with these comparison videos. Spot on 💯 And the drone footage used was pretty cool
The idea of rivalry between Dallas and Houston doesn't have any kind of bad blood at all we love our cities
Say whats the poppin areas of houston
Yes southwest all day.
jermaine Johnson Gaithersburg to Houston for me
Definitely South west side of Houston(thats where i grew up at) but the south side of houston overall is poppin..alot of clubs, bars, closer to Galveston island and has the galleria mall (top 10 biggest malls in america)
Baltimore ain't no real city. Shit small asf
Rivals? I lived in Houston for 30 years, we did not even think about Dallas.
😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
Seriously!
Dude I know right!
Exactly...😆
Same in Dallas, Houston is like our short vacation destination 🤣
I live in Dallas born and raised, I also have family in Houston and San Antonio I visit both whenever I can but if I had to choose where to live in the future it would be San Antonio
I am from Houston, and I thought it was a good video. Very fair to both cities. I really dont hate on Dallas, they are just as Texan as the rest of us, we have to stick together.
scott917 every time I travel and visit other states, I always thank God I live in Texas
I grew up in Dallas, but live in Houston. We can tease them like a little brother or cousin.
Facts
yeah... but Houston is better
Shout out to JJ Watt.
He loves his city.
i grew up in dallas and moved to houston recently. i still remember all the looks i'd get when i wore cowboys jackets to school,,, houstonians truly take the rivalry way more seriously 🙄🤚
That's more team jacket than city rivalry. People like, why you wearing that here, ha. They would think that about any other team.
ツmary and I wish a Houstonian would tell me a legit reason why they hate Dallas other than saying ( because it’s Dallas or Dallas sucks) like I thought it was just because of the cowboys but they literally hate the city or anything dallas.
Imagine being from Dallas thinking you’re competing with Houston😪😪😪
Son of all places you straight up see people on horses if you go to the right places. And many people wear cowboy stuff to school.
Stop that fr fr😪😪😪
I live in Austin and I honestly stare at people if they were wearing an Aggies jacket for example 😂
@@joonkwon9303more like bad mayors
As a Houstonian that lives in Dallas - I got to say that I enjoy Dallas more over all. BUT, the food in Dallas is nowhere near Houston's level in my humble opinion.
I agree..Dallas food sucks, but love the city though.
Its not even close, Houston has the better food.
If you're looking for a sorority girl to fuck, the. Dallas is your city. If you're looking for a life, Houston has it all
As a former Texas resident, I too like the Houston food.
As someone from dfw, both cities are pretty similar and both are great, we beef but we both know that texas cities are great
We have to save Houston pretty much once a year at least thanks to flooding.
That's right, but there are two major logistic differences:
Houston is humid and has mosquitoes.
Dallas is dry and has scorpions!
Vivian S Sorry did you just say Dallas has scorpions?

All you have to do is share it with one million people. :D But thank you!
basically in dallas you can breathe normally but in houston you need a water bottle everywhere you go. (unless its winter or fall)
the temperature in houston may not be high but dont let that fool you.
Dallas folx don't care...,it's not that deep! Y'all by the water, we come down...we have State Fair..y'all come up! It's all love!😷🙃😍#Beforepandemic
@I Am Who I Am Sorry I've actually lived in places that have that attitude.
It’s way more fun in Houston and the cops in Dallas are thirsty af

As a person from Dallas, I just learned their was a rivalry
Same bro
I don't think it's a real rivalry. I think it's more of a talk trash to each other when our teams play each other sort of rivalry. Which everyone has. We just happened to share the same state so they try to make it a bigger deal than it is in actuality.
We hate Dallas, Houston’s always been better.

I have no beef with this aside from Houston supposedly having a better skyline..... idgaf about how tall the buildings are Dallas has SUCH an aesthetically pleasing skyline. Even without reunion tower!
Bird H We have 4. Downtown, Texas Medical Center, Uptown, and the Energy Corridor.
Same!!
Bird H especially at night

As a native Houstonian, we are better because:
We have NASA
We have the Ship Channel
We have access to the Gulf of Mexico
We have the largest Medical Center
We have better colleges and universities ( Texas Southern(my alma mater), Rice, University of Houston, Houston Baptist, University of St. Thomas, Sam Houston State, Prairie View A&M,)
We have the 1st NBA in Texas(Rockets)
We have 1st MLB in Texas(Astros)
We have the 1st NBA Championship appearance and winner in Texas( Rockets)
We have the 1st World Series Championship appearance and winner in Texas( Astros)
We have the 1st MLS Cup championship appearance and winner( Dynamo)
We have the better downtown
We have the better skyline
We have a beach( Galveston)
We’re birthplace of Beyoncé, Patrick Swayze(RIP), Jim Parsons, Jennifer Garner, Hillary Duff, Travis Scott, Scarface, and The Undertaker.

I've lived in both places(living in dallas now) and I have to say dallas is soo much better, more highways and better public transportation means traffic only really gets super bad at about 7-9 am or 5-6 pm,and all in all I've found dallas residents are much more kind and just have a better attitude

Can you compare Orlando to Miami next? Or LA to SF?
I think I'd prefer to compare Orland and Miami of those two. I have a California and Texas in the works eventually as well. :)
What about Fairbanks and Anchorage?
Tbh, Greater Orlando vs Tampa Bay is probably better for comparison video.
Miami is its own thing.
Mr. Beat no state is better than California. Where do you think RUclips, smartphones, social media, etc come from? Cali has many terrains including the tallest trees on earth, highest mountain in mainland USA, and even lowest point in North America and you can ski and surf all in one day. It’s the 5th largest economy in the world, produces the most food in America, is the most diverse state in America, produces much of America’s entertainment, movies and tv shows, it has the best weather in the country (Mediterranean climate), has a ton of National parks, is the most visited state and the most populated state. No other states has more than one world class city like CA does and has everything that other states have. Sorry but I don’t see why California needs to be compared to another state. It’s not possible.. just my opinion
