I like Eddie That what I like to call Edward after watching a (repeating era (idk the era name)) episode about Edward/Eddie trying to prove Charlie that he can be fun
5. I’ve first known Emily ever since Season 7 with the episode Emily’s new coaches and also Emily knows best in Season 9. This was the 1st female engine I’ve seen in the Thomas & Friends series when I was a kid. I have to say, she’s a pretty good female character. I’ve also seen her in the CGI series as well. 4. Gordon is also one of my favorites as well. I mostly like large tender engines and the color blue and Gordon is my favorite. I like how he always pulls the express which fits him a lot more than pulling freight trains. Even though there’s times where he can be bossy at pompous, he’s still my favorite nonetheless. I also remember seeing his angry face in model form as a kid and damn, I was shocked to see his angry face like that, it’s like you don’t wanna mess with him. 3. When I was a kid, I thought James was a girl because of the look of the face, but when I watched the CGI series of the show, he had a male voice. I wasn’t a fan of James’ voice in Thomas & The Magic Railroad because the voice sounded like a women like what GWR Studios mentioned. I’ve known James The Red Engine as a kid, and I’ve grown to liking him until his personality change where he was a show off most of the time and I didn’t like that type of James. 2. I’ve known Percy ever since reading the Calling all Engines book in Kindergarten and when watching the show, I learned that Percy is Thomas’ best friend and they’re both the same sizes. And no wonder why I couldn’t find the right real life basis for Percy because of how unique his model is! The thing I don’t like about him is that in the recent seasons, he acts dumb in most of the episodes along with being a scaredy cat most of the time. But overall, Percy is still pretty good. 1. Yes, Thomas is the main character and I grew up watching his show for 16 years now including the classic series and CGI series! He was also the reason why blue is my favorite color, a lot of people agreed with me on that! I also like his backstory on how he made it to the island of Sodor and how he got his branch line! It’s like a NASCAR driver determining to do good in the races and possibly winning a championship. Thomas has always been my favorite steam team character in the series alongside Edward! 😃😁👍
I'm a NASCAR fan and loved TTTE as a kid. Got nostalgic this past spring and am going through my 2nd childhood. Btw, Percy's maybe like a hybrid of Avonside and something else, a modified Avonside perhaps? Somebody said Thomas is a bit bigger than Percy and there's the bridge weight limit in a story. Percy and Toby are within the limits, but Thomas is over. He's little, being a tank engine but not as little as Percy, so that person seems right based on that story.
I head canon that the reason why that Percy has different parts from different builders is because he’s actually made from recycled parts from other engines, the workshop he was built in needed a tank engine and to save money and time used parts from other engines.

I love Thomas in Thomas & The Magic Railroad and Hero of The Rails due to his heroism like Edward. I love Edward as well. Therefore, I actually love the entire steam team in Hero of The Rails because that's where all the engines are best friends. Example, I see Gordon and James are not pompous or vain, Percy isn't so cheeky and neither is Thomas, Edward is still the kind considerate fellow as he always was in Season 1 and most of Season 2, Henry sounds humble as well and also timid and shy still, and Emily also sounds mostly kinder and way less of a jerk.
6:48 speaking of I actually thought of an idea of a episode or 2 part special where Percy and James Join Thomas on one of his big world adventures either looking for him or brought to help him with jobs in one of the countries either in one of the countries we’d seen already or a new one
I feel it would of been great if his friends like were brought around, like imagine Gordon racing a bullet train in Japan, or James perhaps helping in the Australian typhoon, and even perhaps have like a few without thomas, and maybe like Nia and Rebecca go to africa

5: Emily is advisable, sensitive and is very alert. 4: Gordon is loyal and important and loves to pull the express as a main line engine. Sometimes, he's bossy at seems and what I like is the line "O the indignity." against negatories. I'd like to say that every time I declined. 3: James is the joker of the team, but he always like his paintwork. He may be a show off, but he learned that "Showing off is a fool's idea of glory." I liked that Bruce Lee quote. 2: Percy may be the youngest (I guess built in 1923 in the GWR), but his favorite job is pulling the mail in the day and sometimes the night. Sometimes, he may be into trouble and he also learned to be brave. 1: Thomas The E2 Tank Engine may not be like a main attraction, but he's everyone's favorite. My favorite is Edward in my opinion. He may be old, but he's wise. When I watch "A Shed For Edward", he leaves Tidmouth Sheds for a change and stays in Wellsworth because it's the start of his branch line because sometimes, it's good to do something new for a change.
Gordon is my favorite steam team member and my favorite character in general golden is my favorite character because I can relate to him I could be bossy and snobbish at times but I mean well

Emily is like a big sister Gordan is the jock engine/big brother figure James is obviously jokester your not the only one who rethought he was female. If only he can respect Toby and Henrietta. (i see them as the sodor elder couple) Percy maybe bullied at times but he gets to persever everyday. I never knew that sailor moon fact. Plus percy's spotlight episode was ghost train Edward wise engine to know Henry Well gentle engine Toby i ship him and Henrietta as elder couple Thomas is obvious thomas can always persevere. But can't mattel share spotlight in next season. And i agree as I'm a sly Cooper fan it's not just sly to play in the 2 and 3.
The Headmaster Hastings version of the Engine Roll Call is way better than the original version. And my top favorite used to be Thomas, (Don’t get me wrong, I still like him and find him relatable), I’ve started to love Emily a lot more as of lately. Especially because she’s based on the Stirling Single, one of the oldest engine designs ever made!
I could relate to Thomas as a kid, because I was a sweet little kid with an impish smile, so especially his kinder side in the classics, like his Season 3 self, carries elements of kid me. The kindhearted, cheeky and cheerful elements of Thomas are the ones kid me can relate to, in a nutshell. I'm fine with Thomas being the main character because he's the title character. However, there can be times he's a supporting character or just a cameo role. He can be there, but not speak, I mean and it's fine. Like he could be pulling a train or doing something with a friend in the background. He's adorable in the old show. I grew up with the models, so the model era characters are the ones I know best. My steam team favorites would be Thomas, James, Edward, Percy, Toby, Henry, Gordon and Emily, but excluding Thomas the order's not necessarily respective. Even Emily, I got to know only on the nostalgia train this year because I saw just the first 4 seasons as a child, up to Rusty to The Rescue in terms of videos. Due to not being fully caught up yet, it's fair for only to rank the original steam team as my favorites. I'm on season 7, but I played 12-16 out of order. I need to finish season 7, play 8-11 and 17-24 of the old show to catch up. AEG's not canon and I feel it's the ruination of my childhood because the old TTTE's something I consider my childhood. I find the AEG eyes disgusting, which is why I say my childhood is ruined by it.

I love all members of steam team only that in my series current members like : Boco, Oliver, Donald, Douglas, Toby, Edward and Henry and and newer members like;: Rosie, Diesel, Diesel 10, Home may, Hazel, Martin, Alfred lner saddle tank engine and Layla and members of steam team like : Thomas, Percy, Nia, Rebecca, Emily, Gordon and James . All of them will sleep in Tidmorth sheds and adding more 16 sheds. Sorry to adding Diesel, Diesel 10 and Boco I wanted to add Ryan, Stanley and Billy but I waz haveingbig other plans and my series engines like : Hazel, Home may and Alfred lner saddle tank engine. My favorite steam team member is Thomas the Tank Engine because i really like him not in seasons 13-16 cuz sharon miller destroys thomas' character and i HATE it so much but Thomas' is really popular like Christopher Obando from AEF High Schools and Sans from Undertale and Deltarune and that's why i love him so much.
You don't like how Edward and Henry were replaced with Nia and Rebecca? Don't worry. In my version of TTTE, I just added Nia and Rebecca and removed nobody. I've been rewriting all of Thomas and if you wanna learn more I can share it with you.

In my opinion, the concept of the Steam Team may have worked from Seasons 8-16, but then when the CGI show started being more in line with the Classic era again, it started to become problematic and redundant.
Actually Trevor u got it wrong Emily was hated by the whole fandom not because she replaced duck it’s actually because of her bossy attitude in season 8-12

In my opinion, Emily was a good character in season 7, and seasons 17-21. The rest of the series, she just a bit of a jerk and bossy. For example, in a season 8 episode “ Thomas, Emily, and the snow plow”, she just tells Thomas to get his snow plow in a mean way. I don’t dislike her because she replaced Duck. At least she’s better than Nia and Rebecca.
And don't to mention Donald Douglas and Oliver why can't they do just don't do them have to live intimate sheds and they don't all have to be main characters

Okay so I would say Thomas the Tank Engine because he is the main character and my favorite voice actor for Thomas is Joseph May and John hanssler ( I couldn't introduce his last name) because they continue on from the adventure begins onwards I don't even know if they're still going to be voice acting Thomas next year I mean I hope that they will voice act him and don't get me wrong I am going to be mad to about this nelvana studio 2D animated new look when it comes out next year and I'm willing it to give it a chance and I could almost understand why some people really wanted to make Thomas great again so they said #MakeThomasGreatAgain
Unpopular opinion: ( I think) I like D261, he was one of the first ' Diesel 10 ' characters, and the redemption arcs that are fan made, it shows that even the braggiest can become kind, but without including fan made stuff, either Edward, because it's edward, and oliver, due to his fascinating backstory, and how he was about to be scrapped, but barely saved.
I actually love Percy in Hero of The Rails. Why? Because in that movie, he's not so cheeky and actually supportive of Thomas.
Percy would have gave Hiro his water injector because of Spencer sneaking through the Whistling Woods to find Thomas on what he's up to.

My steam team favorites would be Thomas, James, Edward, Percy, Toby, Henry, Gordon and Emily, but excluding Thomas the order's not necessarily respective. Even Emily, I got to know only on the nostalgia train this year because I saw just the first 4 seasons as a child, up to Rusty to The Rescue in terms of videos. Due to not being fully caught up yet, it's fair for only to rank the original steam team as my favorites. I'm on season 7, but I played 12-16 out of order. I need to finish season 7, play 8-11 and 17-24 of the old show to catch up. AEG's not canon and I feel it's the ruination of my childhood because the old TTTE's something I consider my childhood. I find the AEG eyes disgusting, which is why I say my childhood is ruined by it.

In my opinion, the concept of the Steam Team may have worked from Seasons 8-16, but then when the CGI show started being more in line with the Classic era again, it started to become problematic and redundant.
Actually Trevor u got it wrong Emily was hated by the whole fandom not because she replaced duck it’s actually because of her bossy attitude in season 8-12

In my opinion, Emily was a good character in season 7, and seasons 17-21. The rest of the series, she just a bit of a jerk and bossy. For example, in a season 8 episode “ Thomas, Emily, and the snow plow”, she just tells Thomas to get his snow plow in a mean way. I don’t dislike her because she replaced Duck. At least she’s better than Nia and Rebecca.
And don't to mention Donald Douglas and Oliver why can't they do just don't do them have to live intimate sheds and they don't all have to be main characters
According to Unlucky Tug, Duck is just a fanservice character at this point.

Okay so I would say Thomas the Tank Engine because he is the main character and my favorite voice actor for Thomas is Joseph May and John hanssler ( I couldn't introduce his last name) because they continue on from the adventure begins onwards I don't even know if they're still going to be voice acting Thomas next year I mean I hope that they will voice act him and don't get me wrong I am going to be mad to about this nelvana studio 2D animated new look when it comes out next year and I'm willing it to give it a chance and I could almost understand why some people really wanted to make Thomas great again so they said #MakeThomasGreatAgain
Unpopular opinion: ( I think) I like D261, he was one of the first ' Diesel 10 ' characters, and the redemption arcs that are fan made, it shows that even the braggiest can become kind, but without including fan made stuff, either Edward, because it's edward, and oliver, due to his fascinating backstory, and how he was about to be scrapped, but barely saved.
And I know these aren't steam team characters except Edward and maybbeee oliver, but it's my opinion
