I'm absolutely still using the LT! I like using it more and more each time! :D EL Zone is fantastic for exposing, though I really only use it when I really need to expose EVERYTHING in the shot. I'm usually using the waveform for 90% of my work.
Love the video, it looks/sounds pro. I've shot commercial projects on the Varicam, love it. I currently own the P4K. One thing to note, a brand new P4K does come with the full studio version of Resolve (and free updates). Look forward to more from you. Cheers.
Keep posting. I use to have the LT and have been missing it. I think I may buy it again. I am currently using a Red and a Nikon Z8, However there is something about the Panasonic Varicam LT has a little something extra and amazing skin tones.
@@shinzouproductions8770 So far so good. But due to the 8k recording. I thought dealing with 4k was bad. This tales it to another level. It is ultra sharp and with the right lenses and filters will look cinematic. The Nlog is nice since it works Davinci. I have a full frame Zcam that does not paly well with Davinci. I have not done a ton with the camera. But the few things I have shot lookded great.
There’s a couple corrections. Unless Blackmagic changed their policies, which I’m sure they haven’t, any camera you buy from them (Brand new) will come with the full studio version of DaVinci Resolve. Also you stated that ProRes QX 444 and ProRes 444 are 10 bit. They are actually both 12 bit codecs Solid video overall.
Thanks for the corrections! I somehow slipped up on the color bit. I appreciate it! As for the Resolve version you receive, I'm confused on that. There are certain tools in the software that I don't have access to, like the FX that should be included. Hopefully I'm wrong about this and just need to reinstall with the activation key.
Whats up brother! We’ve talked on the LT page on Facebook and I gotta say I need videos on the LT because I have been dying to shoot with it at the same time Ive been waining on it because I question if people will trust the camera for bigger client shoots. I’ve kind of narrowed it down to an older Arri because they’re closest to look and almost to price. But the LT is still at top for me. So I would love comparisons! Even with Prores Raw! Love the stuff!
I think if you want clients, go with an Arri Classic or something within your price range but I personally think the LT is better statistically than the Classic or Amira (though the Amira can record ARRIRAW internally with an upgrade AND has continued and current support).
I am also using Varicam LT and love it. Precision: the battery mount is also interchangeable (4 screws to remove it and a quick connection cable is behind the plate). Cost AU$120 to get the new V mount from IDX (no need for a gold to v lock mount adaptor).
Man the varicam looks like such an underrated (and even affordable now) camera. I wish they had chosen a media format that’s more affordable. Those p2 cards are stupid expensive; $1,300 for 256gb in the modern world is a pretty frustrating price considering how far media has come now.
I must say, i did not understand a lot of what you said, but your clarity of explanation and enthusiasm and dope editing made me watch this! 🙌🏾 I can’t wait to see part 2!!
Awesome presentation and analysis!!!
Really great content! Great channel!
Very nice. Can't wait for the image quality comparisons. Would also love to see future comparisons with Fx6 & Amira!
Thank you! SI'm also excited to to a comparison on those cameras! :0
Great video! Subbed today because of the Panasonic Varicam video you did. Just finished it a bit before watching this one.
Thanks!!! I really appreciate it!
Great video! We use the LTs at work and I own a P4k. Love both. Just fyi, the P4k comes with the full studio version of Davinci Resolve.
Very good video, very informative and professional.
Amazing video brother. Are you still using LT? And do you use EL ZONE for exposing? How’s the experience?

Wait, really? I bought mine brand new and I don't have some features like "film grain" and such. Says that I need the studio version.
@@shinzouproductions8770in the box, you'll find the card that has the license.

Thanks!! I'd been interested in the Z8! How do you like it?

NO WAY!!! I HAD NO IDEA THAT WAS EVEN AN OPTION!!! I'll be sure to include that in the next part of this video!!
Great video.
What did you film this video with?
This is with the VariCam LT. You can see all of the setting/specs that I shot with at the very beginning of the video.
Amazing 👏
Very informative

It really is. Luckily I've never had a moment where I've needed more than three cards (I only have three 256GB cards).
非常好的视频,我也有一台Varicam lt
谢谢你!我希望你喜欢相机!
