I went through this for 3 years. Kept waiting on him to "be ready" to be with me. Finally saw that I was worth more and left him in 2023. Shortly after that when I started dating other people again I ended up having one of my good friends get the courage to tell me that he felt the same way about me that I'd been telling him I felt about him for a long time. I'm going thru this right now. A man stringing me along, promising a future of "what if" to only change his mind and pulling back now that it's become too real. Three days of silence, four nights of staying up all night waiting for his texts (and never getting them) made me realized that I don't want to lose myself in the process of finding him. It hurts thinking about how another woman will work out right with him but I have to leave now before I can't anymore. I deserve better than to be second choice or made to wait for and waste my time on someone to decide if they want to be with me or not. Thank you for this beautiful song ❤️
