Texas Hill Country Whitetail deer Hunting (Comfort,Tx)

My cousin and I took a trip up to Comfort tx in search of whitetail bucks that had 7 points or more & were outside the ears. That is the property rules. We had some luck & ended up having one of our most memorable trips. It aint always about killing the biggest deer or catching the biggest fish, its about the laughs, memories & camaraderie . Alot of Axis in them there parts,,,i'm 70 miles North and we got em also, i had 2 Big Axis sparring 4 Sundays ago at 70 yards broadside,,,BUT it was 80 degrees and 7 pm on Sunday and i got no walk in cooler,,so i let em slide and aint seen em since,,,,,they 'll come back. I saw a Bobcat choke out a Huge Gobbler this morning,,,,,he had a time trying to drag that big Tom,,,,,,,Bobcat got his Thanksgiving Turkey,,,didnt get to see him catch Tom,,,just him choking Tomas out. I also had Big Red who is about 8 to 10 inches out past the ears in front of me at 80 yards and 2 does standing behind me, watching me at 20 yards. They all know me,,this is my 3rd or 4th year watching Big Red,,,he is a 9 pt this year,,,,,,,,5 or 6 year old and man is he Purty, he is on the NO shoot list,,plus he is one of my yard Bucks and they never get shot
