*Summer* is generally the best time for propagating guava cuttings as the weather is warm and conducive to root growth.
Choosing the Right Cutting
Select a healthy, mature guava branch without any signs of disease or pests.
The cutting should be about 6-8 inches long with at least two nodes (points where leaves grow).
Preparing the Cutting
Use a sharp, clean tool to make a slanted cut just below a node.
Remove the leaves from the lower half of the cutting.
Planting the Cutting
