Las Guacamayas is a personal favorite. The music is always super loud. Sometimes that’s fun sometimes that’s a bit much. The food is always awesome. Try the horchata. It’s delicious.
AL Pastor
Taqueria El Gran Pastor

The best part about El Gran Pastor is that they have an awesome salsa bar and they LOAD your taco with a TON of meat. Best value for sure. 1 taco equals 2 or 3 tacos anywhere else. You want to hit this joint up late because they sometimes will cut the meat off the trompo early so they can handle the dinner rush.
Tacos Gus

Tacos Gus is one of the most popular taco spots in Cabo. Personally, I think it is a bit overrated. And they have raised their prices.
La Tequiza

La taquiza is awesome. They have this display of salsa that is to die for. The Habenero salsa is so spicy but delicious.
El Paisa

El Paisa is popular. They add a weird sauce to their tacos that I don’t care for as much. It kinda tastes like ketchup or ravioli sauce you’d get out of a can? Not my favorite but still better than anything you can go and get in the states.

This taco stand for a long time, didn’t have a name. These are the best tacos Al Pastor in all of Cabo. Go there every day.

I went to El paisa ans they are really good , the sauces are from the other world, and now they have shrimp tacos delicious.
I know this is about Cabo, but I think Puerto Vallarta probably has the best Al-Pastor tacos in Mexico. I've been to about 15 states in Mexico including CDMX, but so far PV is the best.
Oh... I almost agree. Mexico City has the best IMO. And if you have ever tried a “gringa” it’s even better. with some Oaxaca cheese. Mmmmm. But PV is good. I’ve also had some really tasty ones in Merida. And they were like 5 pesos which is the cheapest I’ve seen in a while. Funny thing about cabo is that 10-15 years ago, you couldn’t even find tacos al pastor.

I went to cabo and tried el paisa and zarape. Zarape was lightyears better. I'm shocked you didn't even mention them.
At La Taquiza I love the Tacos De Costillas ( rib tacos) sooo good

If you have never been to Mexico is it safe to eat the salsa without getting a stomachach?
People have been known to get sick from a variety of produce - lettuce, tomato, cabbage, etc... But it happens in other countries as well (it happens in the US). I personally never worry about this though. The food it too good.

I heard El Zarape has good Al Pastor; I went to Guacamaya and it was pretty good, but the Al Pastor were not as good as I'm used to.

I agree with you on the Gardenias part. Not the part about me being around. Been going there for years. It is a go to for shrimp and fish tacos. focused this vid on al pastor. I didn’t have any footage that does Gardenias justice either. Will add when I do a specific fish taco vid.
I have lived here for 10 years and I have not found good tacos, I guess because I compare them to Tijuana 🌮 tacos, El Paisa is good.

It really depends what you’re looking for. El Romero is one of my favorites for al pastor. El Paisa has some amazing sauces. Their hottest habanero sauce is AMAZING.
