Seven years after the release of their last album “Eternal”, Stratovarius once more prove their status as Power Metal kings and come back with a big bang.
A blistering comeback from one of heavy metal’s most seminal bands, Survive is full of dynamics and drama, feeding on a wide range of emotions along the way. But the core message that this triumphant endeavour conveys is one of struggle, defiance, hope and victory.
Best exemplified by its profoundly rousing title track, Survive is the Stratovarius spirit in exquisite musical form, with all the darkness and light that goes with it.

This has to be the best song on the album (and the album is really good!), the chorus is simply majestic!

This song definitely deserved a music video. I've already heard this song so many times and I've cried too it as well, but with this music video it really makes this song feel so special. Stratovarius sure does know how to make great music that can be so awesome and emotional at the same time. I can't to see them play this song live along with Glory Days, Demand, Frozen in Time really all the songs from this album actually! Thank you earMUSIC and thank you so much as well Stratovarius!

Me lembro que eu sofria demais para achar conteúdo em vídeo do Stratovarius nos anos 2000, só conseguia achar clipes antigos e shows gravados por fãs, tudo em péssima qualidade. Por isso, sempre que vejo um novo lançamento oficial deles hoje em dia é muito gratificante para mim. Às vezes me pego pensando como seria incrível videoclipes de mais clássicos da era Tolkki. Enfim, ficou foda! Broken é uma das minhas favoritas do álbum. 🔥
Esta música é simplesmente sensacional, de fato é a minha favorita.

Одна из любимейших песен на этом фантастическом альбоме. Почти каждая песня хит и музыка очень красивая. Клавиши Юханссона звучат особенно пронзительно в этом треке.
А представьте, если бы еще на этом альбоме были еще Enigma и Oblivion, которые вышли на Intermission 2, да, я согласен, альбом перепродюсирован, но мелодизм просто зашкаливает, каждая песня запоминающаяся, мне особенно нравится Breakaway

I am so happy to hear from you in 2022. Used to listen to this band a lot in 2000 and before. I was always a big fan of the synthesizer and guitars, one band that in this genre does it very masterful. Black Diamond!

15 years ago me and my best friend were listening to them every evening, banging heads, full of beer cans around, pretty young, picky blinders, full of hopes, life and dreams. Since then, my buddy died while ago, I divorced,lost everything and completely broken. Hats off.

This album took me by surprise. I would've never thought I'd enjoy it this much. I was a fan, but they had lost me a long time ago. I haven't even checked out anything post Infinite. I didn't have any expectations but I liked the singles that RUclips threw at me. And man I'm glad I took the time to listen to this album. Every song is a banger.

Well the cd purchased and I have just finished listening to the new album on full blast. I am blown away, I think it’s my new favourite stratovarius album. Some may not agree and that’s ok because that means you are just another fan of this great band and prefer another one of their great albums. Anyone who knows and loves the music by Stratovarius from the beginning, is only able to yawn when listening to this song. This is not a patch on the music they have produced during the Tolkki-en era. When Tolkki did leave the band, it was crystal clear that the band will never be the same again. Although Kotipelto still has retained his amazing voice, the songwriting lacks the quality it had back in the old days and I really miss the melodies that always brought goosebumps to my skin and soul and which often left me shivering. They are almost completely gone. "Broken", or the "Survive" album in general, rather sounds like "we finally need to do a few new songs! any ideas?"

The fact that you listen to this music is very good, but instead of just listening, try to get the point, and the fact that almost all the songs on this album have something to do with the war you allowed. And do something to stop it.
