My all time favorite. I wish today's shows had something as cool and rockin' as this. There were so many cool theme songs back then. Wheeled Warriors, M.A.S.K., Galaxy Rangers, Ninja Turtles, Dinosaucers, Jem, and many more.
kasterborous I disagree about 80s music being awful. Between the rise of hard rock, metal and synthwave the 80s were as influential as the 60s with pop (particularly britpop) and rock, and the 70s with progressive rock and disco. The 90s had grunge and, to some extent, techno. I still have to see what the 2000s and 2010s have brought to music. Boy/girl bands? EDM? The only real 'advancement' has been the rise of people that can't sing for shit, but since they are good looking they use pitch correction and they have success. Let that sink in.
There were many great (rock and slower) cartoon openings that take that place imho. Raccoon Intro, Dream Stone Outro (respectably in their long versions).
absolutely incredible song overall, but especially that first singer. holy shit. the way he nailed the high notes every time he sang "WHEELED WARRIORS" was utterly exquisite!

What was this wonderful French version that you speak so warmly about, so I just had to experience this, according to you, far superior version. So I did. I listened to it, with subtitles since I don't understand French. But I do understand quality. And Jay T, I have to say, the French version is worse in every possible way. I am sorry, it might be something you enjoy more because of sentimental reasons. Which is fine! You are entitled to re-live your childhood how-ever you please. But Jay T, the French version is weak, the music is layered differently, there's no emotional investment in the narrator's voice, the French singer isn't even in the same league as the English counterpart. Thank you for sharing your opinion however. Freedom of speech is a gift.

I was born in 1990. I've never seen this show, or heard of it before it showed up while I was looking for Skeletor videos, and I don't know if I'll ever watch it. But this song reminds me how much I love the 80s, even though I was never in 'em. So many industries were just getting started - especially modern TV and video games - so few to no big corrupt corporations were interested, and the only people risking their fortunes were truly passionate and sincere. The music in particular was so full of power and inspiration and love. Even this silly, goofy, random show for children stopped and took the time to tell them they were amazing and could do whatever they wanted. Maybe it would take forever, and be incredibly difficult or painful, but you can do it because you kick ass. ... but it never said you had to kick anybody's ass in particular. Nowadays, so much media is based on only putting one's self up in the same breath as putting someone else down. Enough of it that nobody can tell which is doing it and which isn't. I'm sure some people are desperately trying to bring back this ancient spirit, the idea of someone whose only loyalty is to humanity, but everyone is so used to hatred that even their work looks like pandering or vanity or some lowkey snubbing. Because today, we've been taught that someone has to be cut down for someone else to rise, and that someone else doing well is somehow bad for us. I wonder how many other people have a nostalgia for things from before they were born. In the 80s, nobody else needed to be wrong for you to be right. In the 80s, you didn't need an enemy to be a hero.

Best version out there! Aside: why there's no complilation album of Shuki Levy's original arrangement works? Ulysses 31, He-Man, Gadget, MASK and so on… This guy deserves some proper HQ album release!
Ulysses 31 has an album that collects the entire soundtrack of the show in high quality, including three versions of the theme (original French lyrics, English lyrics, and instrumental). It’s available on Apple Music. Sadly, I’m not sure if any other soundtracks were lucky enough.

OMG. Greetings from Germany. This Show never came with german language, but i watched it 25 years ago in english. Never understand 1 word but i loved it anyway :D great memories. Ohhh....tears in my eyes :(
@@trydowave No, not in Germany. In the 80s u could watch Sky Channel and Super Channel(?) in Germany. It was so great, Saturday mornings. There was another Cartoon never came to germany. The spirit of the 80's is strong with this one... Sadly I never saw this as a kid for some reason, but this is an epic song, wow! definitely one of the best cartoon intro themes I've ever heard. Sounds like a coked out 80's dance party song, and I mean that in the best possible way.
I'm 39 years old and my woman (37) brought me here. I used to watch this and it was her favorite cartoon when she was a kid. Nice memories of one of the best 80's cartoons, which includes my personal favorites like Ulysses 31, Transformers (the very beginning), Silver Hawks, Voltron, The Mysterious Cities Of Gold, Thundercats, Bionic Six, Bravestarr, Galaxy Rangers, GI Joe and MASK.
Every morning as a kid running downstairs bowl of cereal in hand watching this before school and remember the theme song amping me up for the day ahead now at 36 soon to be 37 I still love this theme children’s tv back in the 80’s and 90’s was amazing
This is the 1st time I’ve ever heard this extended version and I’m loving it. I would have been so thankful if I got the soundtrack when I was a chilled.
haha well its part of the marketingtrick, but no. Some of these studios are still active nowadays that drew these anime. 1 of them is currently involved with Valvrave which is a big hit in Japan.
Well it didn't go on any of the fucking toys, They never released any figures of Jayce and co... Only the vehicles, and random men in orange jumpsuits who never appear in the show to sit in them.
Accidentally found this video with the audiotrack I mixed for myself back in 2010. I uploaded it to some social services then. Never thought I'd found it on RUclips with a million views twelve years later. I'm so glad it could bring so much joy and nostalgia for so many people! The audio in this video sounds a bit cleaner tho. But it's definitely my mix, I recognized it by the exact silence at the end.
The singer is not Noam Kaniel, however he often does the choirs in Saban & Levy productions. The singer is Nick Carr, who has the particularity to be both French (by his mother) and American (by his father). He worked With Levy & Saban as a drummer and post-production engineer specialized in sound effects. He's also got a good voice : that's they discovered when they needed an english singer for the US market ! He started in the choirs for the first try, but he revealed his hidden talent as the lead voice. So they produced with him MASK, Jayce, COPS and Pole Position. In France, that song reached up to the 1st place of the Top 50 (french billboard) for a few days in 1985 !
So much nostalgia and I'm 20. I always loved how this song made you sense a bit of a sad or serious suspense while having an energetic adventure vibe to it. Gotta love the 80s.
Theme songs like this back in the day could easily have been in the charts, not like most of the rubbish they have now days, I can’t think of one memorable theme song in the last 10 years or so
Golden age in many ways - action/Sci fi movies - tv shows - music, music videos - cartoons - toys - practical movie effects, anamatronics - First CGI - First portable music players - Walkman, cd players - First home pcs - First gaming consoles - arcades - First gym culture, bodybuilding craze I wish I could go back.....
A mis casi 40;años no puedo evitar ese nido en la garganta. En los 80's han quedado los mejores años de mi vida endulzados por estás grandes caricaturas y sus grandes temas.
Was doing my workout and was 35 minutes in and fatigued during my pushup sets. Then this song kicked on, and there was indeed a power deep inside me that came out in the form of a roar as I finished my set and collapsed.
good old times !! Lyrics !: There’s a power that comes from deep inside of you ‘Cause every day you’re reaching toward the light And you know there’s a long long way ahead of you But when your wheels get you there, Things will turn out right! Just keep ‘em turning, don’t stop ‘em rolling The fire is on-Wheeled Warriors! Battle drums burning, wheels moving-Wheeled Warriors Wheeled Warriors! Cause we can just keep ‘em turning, don’t stop ‘em rolling The fire is on-Wheeled Warriors! Battle drums burning, wheels moving-Wheeled Warriors Wheeled Warriors!
I want the 80’s back. Things were so much better. I’ll go back to being a kind with no problem. I’ll give up the internet smart Phones and all. I use to love waking up on Saturday mornings to watch cartoons while I eat my cereal. Great times
What the hell happened to modern cartoons? No catchy tunes, no panache, no style and no staying power. 80's cartoons would blow everything away these days, I feel sorry for modern kids.
That's why I remain forever stuck in the explosive realm of 80's Cartoons. Don't need anything else, really...there's loads of it there to still enjoy.
Well, first there was the Children's Television Act of 1990 where children's programming got regulated to death (you have a bunch of overly sensitive jackasses who let tv babysit their kids over the years instead of actually parenting and teaching their kids wrong from right and all that shit) and now we can't have nice things anymore as a result, then there was Nickelodeon revamping their network and really catching on, the invention of Cartoon Network, just to name many other reason shows like this don't exist anymore
Saw this in french & bought the box around 2008 or so... Still gives me goosebumps, Just like Ulysses 31, Thundercats & Ghostbusters (both the original franchise as the other one)... We really had some great kid shows in the´70-80ies ;)
This is a classic brings back good memories good ol weekday afternoons wish you could have them back again along with Saturday mornings keep on burning Wheel Warriors
I read an interview with Shuki Levy where he said he could not release an album with his best music of anime themes because he had no direct works. This right was the producer and owner of the anime where she stayed with the master tape recording. Many people charge him an album with their best songs, but he always gives is response. I do not own the songs. I was only the composer.
ADRIANKEYMUSIC There seems to be conflicting sources. From music masters apparently no longer existing to complicated rights issues. It'd be nice to know which of the two is the right answer or if it's a combination of both.
Ahh a show that I remember so fondly and makes me remember how GOOD the 80's and some of the 90's cartoon intros were. It seemed like for alot of these intros the singers got really into what they were singing..not like the stuff today only a few get that good of a treatment.
Agree here completely! And i heard many many epic intro song from that period piece! I also like Mask, Pole Position, Dinosaucers, Ghostbusters (dah, off course!), Transformers (You Got A Touch), Prince Valiant and some others i probably forgot to mention!
Never watched this show but I remember one of the N Circle Mario DVDs had a a lot of DiC openings in the special features and this was one of them and I loved it!
Takes me back watching this on saturday afternoons on those old crt tvs with knobs on them. Then its followed by MASK, Centurions, Sky Commanders, etc.
There's a power that comes from deep inside of you, 'Cause every day you're reaching for the light, And you know there's a long long way ahead of you, But when your wheels get you there, Things will turn out rii-iight! Just keep 'em turning, don't stop 'em rolling, the fire is on! (Wheeled Warriors!) B-B-B-Battle drums burning, a-wheels moving, Wheeled Warriors! (Wheeled Warriors!) Come take a chance, keep 'em turning, don't stop 'em rolling, the fire is on! (Wheeled Warriors!) B-B-B-Battle drums burning, a-wheels moving, Wheeled Warriors! Wheeled Warriors!
Thanks, that really clears things up. - Just one thing though. On the start of the second chorus it's actually "Come take a chance, keep 'em turning" and not "Just keep 'em turning". If you listen closely you'll notice that is the correct line both times the second chorus begins.
I never watched this show while I growing up in the 1980's, but I wish I did due to how awesome it was. It's a shame that I saw this awesome series many years later through a friend when my friend and I were still in high school.
I watched this on Sky Channel!!! One of the best channels that actually made Europe to a country. Fun Factory was running every Saturday and Sunday from 08.00 to 12.00!!! It made me the person I am today,... and I must say that these fantasy cartoons made my childhood worth every second. Now, the cartoons kids gets presented have no real sci-fi action in them anymore. Pokemon is not a qualified cartoon etc :) But this is for sure!...
This is not a simple song, this is an Anthem to Childhood.
Thank you
For those of us who were small children that were mystified by Jayce and his team's anthem here, we will always be the Children of the 80's no matter how old we are today.
Dude 😎 I have this on DVD. I wish I could go live in this universe and fight master mind.
So true
Pole Position also has the same kind of energy.
43 years old and crying like a child listening to this.
Man...
Sultuxes old as me ☺good day ehhh
Me too!!!
Badass theme. Great show.
43 years old and my child is crying listening to this
Yes! Me to lol!! Memories
The writers of these songs were expressing fundamental truths.
born in 79 an had the awesome virtue of growing up in the 80s to enjoy these great shows
80's cartoons had the best theme songs.
they were actual songs aswell, the raccoons theme "run with us" is great too!
also the animation style, we hardly see that nowadays
They were the best - who can forget the mysterious cities of gold and the split screen treatment it received from both Andi Peters and Andy Crane😊😊
Don't make them like they used to. That Transformers intro guitar riff is savage!
Frankly think music in general was better in the 80's.
I don't know what these guys were thinking writing such beautiful songs for kids. You have to be an adult to appreciate this. This is SOUL.
Ofcourse the parents had to enjoy it too, they had to buy the toys ;)

Very GOOD song,gets the blood-PUMPING !!! LOL.
Ever noticed how many cartoons of the 80's had hair metal bangers as theme songs?
Jesus Christ this is a TUNE! Why do 80s cartoon theme songs rock so hard?!
Pfft, the 90s was more rad. Remember Swat Cats? That shit fucking rocked!
***** Swat Cats was awesome, but remember Arthur and the Knights of Justice? THAT song rocked
Why people back in the 80's were more creative than today?

80's Cartoons music is the best.

and Mask.
It's strange isn't it? 80s TV was awful, 80s music was awful, but combining the two gave some of the best theme tunes of all time.

Or just keep going on even as desillusionated adult.

Jayce, conqueror of the faraway
Go search for your father
Enlight the obscure paths of the universe
Jayce, conqueror of tomorrows
The root you carry in your heart
Must unite with your father's
Jayce, conqueror of Happyness
Come free the world from the master minds's terror
A force is burning deep inside of you
As the hope that one day you'll bring us joy back.
Your paths are of fire as the Monster minds are strikening
But if you don't loose faith
You'll find the Way

Nice memories of one of the best 80's cartoons, which includes my personal favorites like Ulysses 31, Transformers (the very beginning), Silver Hawks, Voltron, The Mysterious Cities Of Gold, Thundercats, Bionic Six, Bravestarr, Galaxy Rangers, GI Joe and MASK.
80s weekday,and Saturday mornings couldn't be beat!
& Sunday Mornings Too!
I would have been so thankful if I got the soundtrack when I was a chilled.
back in the 80's the intro was were all the money from the show went
haha well its part of the marketingtrick, but no.
***** cheap toys good cartoon lol
Ca12nag3
NO toys, good cartoon.
They had the vehicles, but cancelled the Jayce figures to go with them.
Ca12nag3
This song sends shivers down my spine. I loved this show as a kid and I still do now!
Theme songs like this back in the day could easily have been in the charts, not like most of the rubbish they have now days, I can’t think of one memorable theme song in the last 10 years or so
Steven Universe, yo!
TheSchmuck2 never seen it to be honest
Glitch techs wants to have a word with you
Mung Daal I don’t think it’s the good to be honest
The French version of this song was actually in the charts for 10 consecutive weeks in 1986.
Miss the 80's cartoons😢😭😭😭
I grew up in eighties I couldn't ask for anything more.
Golden age in many ways
- action/Sci fi movies
- tv shows
- music, music videos
- cartoons
- toys
- practical movie effects, anamatronics
- First CGI
- First portable music players - Walkman, cd players
- First home pcs
- First gaming consoles
- arcades
- First gym culture, bodybuilding craze
I wish I could go back.....
Still gives me chills after all these years. Love the extended version!
A mis casi 40;años no puedo evitar ese nido en la garganta. En los 80's han quedado los mejores años de mi vida endulzados por estás grandes caricaturas y sus grandes temas.
lm 43 and still listen to this one and other 80's cartoon😂😂😂😂😂
Was doing my workout and was 35 minutes in and fatigued during my pushup sets.
Then this song kicked on, and there was indeed a power deep inside me that came out in the form of a roar as I finished my set and collapsed.
Epic 💪
I have heman on my gym playlist
Song obliterated my depression, and replaced with with willful hope!
good old times !!
Lyrics !:
There’s a power that comes from deep inside of you
‘Cause every day you’re reaching toward the light
And you know there’s a long long way ahead of you
But when your wheels get you there,
Things will turn out right!
Just keep ‘em turning, don’t stop ‘em rolling
The fire is on-Wheeled Warriors!
Battle drums burning, wheels moving-Wheeled Warriors
Wheeled Warriors!
Cause we can just keep ‘em turning, don’t stop ‘em rolling
The fire is on-Wheeled Warriors!
Battle drums burning, wheels moving-Wheeled Warriors
Wheeled Warriors!
Thanks very much for the Lyrics :D (y)
I was born 2003 and I like it
When cartoon characters looked like actual human beings.
I still get chills when I hear this song! It's very uplifting.
This is a legit freakin banger of a song.
I found the entire series DVD in a parking lot once.. Great find!
I can't stop listening to this song...
Those time cartoons and their theme songs were total badass!
Agree 💯
I want the 80’s back. Things were so much better. I’ll go back to being a kind with no problem. I’ll give up the internet smart Phones and all. I use to love waking up on Saturday mornings to watch cartoons while I eat my cereal. Great times
I am turning 31 tomorrow and I still remembered all of it. Thank you for reminding me of my best days of glory watching this anime
It's all a bunch of low risk garbage with no soul.
It's 2020 and this song makes me think I can beat anything, that's how great this songs were
I remember watching this show all the time in the late 1980’s, and early ‘90’s. It was great!
Saw this in french & bought the box around 2008 or so... Still gives me goosebumps, Just like Ulysses 31, Thundercats & Ghostbusters (both the original franchise as the other one)... We really had some great kid shows in the´70-80ies ;)
I could listen to this all day. Wish there was a repeat option on RUclips
just type "repeat" after youtube, before the .com
leonmagnushikaru holy shit, that actually works! +1
leonmagnushikaru
So like this, youtuberepeat.com?
didn't like the cartoon, but love the theme song!
@@matthamby6542 Same I like the theme more than the cartoon but I didn't hate it either.
Everytime I listen to this intro brings back of the 80's. Tons of memories love it.
This series falls in the category of: Series I never watched, but their themes are great and rememberable...
I thought I would never here this again. I used to sing this when I was a kid I loved this that much🥰🥰
good voice, even artists nowadays can't sing like them
this is my favourite song In history
Awesome cartoon!😁 those days back then were absolutely awesome!🙂
Class 75, that reminds that music dreamlike that bring you back to the best years of my childhood. Greetings from Italy.
I remember watching this show when I was a kid and it reminds me how much I miss the 80's and hand drawn animation.
can you imagine this being used for the mad max fury road movie?
if it took place in space in the 80's than sure
Someone should make a video of that!
Well we had Tupac and Tina Turner on Max Max Beyond The Thunderdome
That's not a bad idea dude
A Mad Max animated series? Sure.
40 years old... I was first introduced the French version, "Jayce et Les Conquerants de la Lumiere".
I was only the composer.
shame
It's a cartoon, not "anime"
It's animated by japanese studios so I would technically still call it an anime.
ADRIANKEYMUSIC There seems to be conflicting sources. From music masters apparently no longer existing to complicated rights issues. It'd be nice to know which of the two is the right answer or if it's a combination of both.
Them's the breaks, I suppose. That would still make one _hell_ of an album though.
All hail Throthgar! :O
All hail the Stalwart Heroes of the Cohesive Unit :)
LIGHTNING STRIKES!
Irish Gozzy fuckin skelekrons
SteelgodLink May Care FROGOIDS!!
Dogoids
Love and miss this cartoon and all cartoon in the 80s
I love this extended version of possibly the best song ever to intro a cartoon in the history of cartoons!
Is that the one that plays during the credits?
Ahh a show that I remember so fondly and makes me remember how GOOD the 80's and some of the 90's cartoon intros were. It seemed like for alot of these intros the singers got really into what they were singing..not like the stuff today only a few get that good of a treatment.
Agreed. I love My Little Pony FiM and Transformers Prime to death but their intros SUCK.
Ah yes. The afternoons after school of my youth.
Can't be beat.
37 years old here, this was my childhood!
The 80s had heart....man im so glad i was a kid then. Best cartoons, best friends, best simple life
Without question Wheeled warriors had the best theme song of any 80s cartoon PERIOD.
Agree here completely! And i heard many many epic intro song from that period piece! I also like Mask, Pole Position, Dinosaucers, Ghostbusters (dah, off course!), Transformers (You Got A Touch), Prince Valiant and some others i probably forgot to mention!
I remember watching this show back when i was a kid. Just hearing this song was part of the reason why i watched it.
For real. The song was one of the best parts of watching this show.
Yes this is proof that not just the cartoons was better in the 80's even the main theme of the cartoons was better!
lars lundquist Hell yeah 80s Rules
Never watched this show but I remember one of the N Circle Mario DVDs had a a lot of DiC openings in the special features and this was one of them and I loved it!
Takes me back watching this on saturday afternoons on those old crt tvs with knobs on them. Then its followed by MASK, Centurions, Sky Commanders, etc.
My 1 year old little girl goes berserko when she hears this song. Thank you Shuki Levy. I just love those 80`s cartoons.
Wow... I thought I was the only one who remembered this cartoon. I had the toys too. Thanks for sharing!
Vivo en el año 2022... es una obra de arte.
Nothing short of AWESOME! Loved the show when I was a kid!
There's a power that comes from deep inside of you,
'Cause every day you're reaching for the light,
And you know there's a long long way ahead of you,
But when your wheels get you there,
Things will turn out rii-iight!
Just keep 'em turning, don't stop 'em rolling, the
fire is on!
(Wheeled Warriors!)
B-B-B-Battle drums burning, a-wheels moving, Wheeled
Warriors!
(Wheeled Warriors!)
Come take a chance, keep 'em turning, don't stop 'em
rolling, the fire is on!
(Wheeled Warriors!)
B-B-B-Battle drums burning, a-wheels moving, Wheeled
Warriors!
Nostalgia in a song! Fantastic!
Born in 84 1 of my favorites right at the part when jayce pushes the ring up in the air and blasts sawboss ass back yae yae !hype
And i drive hell A fast to this goose bumps and tunnel vision
With you, fully agree...
Goosebumps!
Now all we need is the extended outro - that was also an awesome song!!!
Thanks for this man!!!
I think I might have heard of this ONCE
holy shit that's a good theme song.
I'm 23 & jamming out to this lol never even grew up with the show
