As far as blankets on international flights, almost all airlines provide those. In case you are missing one, you can always call the FA and ask for one. Thailand definitely is much cleaner than India.
Its good to know you are taking travel package to thailand, it will be definitely different experience for the viewers who had watched budget backpacking videos ( they will show one place only for that they will travel by multiple ways e.g bus,walk).
