Thank You, I had the same question on the reset after replacing another filter, my 2 keep blinking Hepa, I will try that. Another question are the filters cleanable or washable?
It is audible in a quiet room on low. In "night" or "sleep" mode, not really. Then again, how much air are you possibly moving at that point? Better to run it at faster speeds during the day and turning it off at night, that way you get the best of everything.
I review lots of products, and I give a lot of them away. This one, however, I did not, and I have it in service. It's been doing exactly what it's supposed to. I like it a lot, and I do indeed recommend it.
I'd say that's par for the course with stuff today. When running at the higher speeds it's pulling the most amperage. The AC adapter is guaranteed to be the cheapest one they could get their hands on. I would contact them and see if they can replace it for you if it's still under warranty, but I wouldn't be surprised to learn the replacement does the same.
Hello. I have the same one i got from Walmart but its brand name is called GCZ. And so I was wondering why would they give them different names? Thanks for your time and excellent review.🙂👍
Yeah, the sensor is pretty sensitive. I think that's a good thing. I have another one with a sensor and I have caused it to speed up on several occasions.
Hello I just got the dr.j AP401 the display has a 999 code on it I can not find any information regarding this. There is no reply from the company. Any ideas? Thank you
Most times I get comments talking about a totally different model, but since you actually asked about this same one, I'll provide whatever help I can. I have the manual for it, in there, I found an email address you can use to contact the company. Bear in mind, they are based in China, so you won't get a response for maybe 48 or even 72 hours. And that means emails back and forth can take days. There are no error codes or anything like that listed in the book. My only guess is that 999 means the air quality is really bad by you, but that's unlikely to be the case. The back of the unit has a small door with 7 holes that can be removed. I removed mine and found 7 dots of dust under the cover, over a sensor, which presumably measures the air quality. Try cleaning that. Otherwise, you can run it manually at whatever speed you want.
Love mine but how do you reset it for the filter
There's a filter reset button right on it, and on the remote. Press and hold for 5 seconds.

@@MistzCzy464 the filters for these units are not to be rewashed, from what I've read.
Glad i watch reviews before buying most anything . I can hear a slight clicking sound during operation. That will keep me awake .

@@jimjr9143 it’s really quite
I have a chance to buy this very model. How has it been holding up? Would you still recommend it?

I have the same one for about a year now and love it...I set on auto and that works fine for me..
Nice air purifier.
I always have nice things.
I have the black model. Does anyone else notice the AC adapter getting really HOT when the unit is on speed three and four?

Do you know if 1300 sq feet model uses the same filter as 1800 sq ft model?
Yes, I do know the answer. DR. J has given you a prescription, it says "www.google.com". You can fill it in any browser.
