I'm always astounded by his endgame. I've been addicted to these short blitz clips with Magnus and hearing him talking smack and explaining stuff, then he gets into a hot spot and says he's in a losing position, then one move happens and he's got 20 seconds left and does 16 perfect moves to win lol. Mind boggling.
That kind of greyed out analysis board for moves that are being talked about but not played is what every chess analysis channel needs. 1000 percent better for following it.
I want him to make an account where he always premoves. I'm curious to see what elo he could reach if he had to decide his next move before the opponent plays, every single time.
Can someone explain how he took the White queen with a knight, and then took the knight with the queen?? Because his knight moved like a queen and his queen moved like a knight... am i missing something here? EDIT: oh I see. he had them both forked with a check.. so it was two moves but went really quick. FMD... this explains my elo lol
"There's the queen, there's the knight, and there's the mate. Cool!" - Magnus Carlsen
yeah that made me laugh too
The greyed out board where Magnus explains his moves is a great touch. Always struggle to follow along when he rapidly runs through the notations
Anime flashback Lol
We, the noobs, needs some help just to follow him
Get good?
The grey board was very helpful lol
Love how you showed the board and moves greyed out when Magnus was thinking out loud. Great job.
The speed, the brutality and the calmness of Magnus in those last 10 seconds! He really is a ruthless savage!
REMEBER THOUGH, THIS IS A GAME...IN REAL LIFE, VERY DIFFERENT...LIVES LOST..ENTIRELY DIFFERENT DYNAMIC
Magnus was moving so fast at the end I couldn't even follow the tactics
Mee too 🙂

Showing the variations in grey was a novelty. Congrats!
The guy can blind fold 15 boards simultaneously. There is nothing else than to expect sheer brilliance from Mr. Magnus.
This guy's awareness is truly at another level. To punish every mistake in split seconds gg 👏👏👏
I thought you exaggerate that Magnus goes to "beast mode" but i really convince your sentence is correct. He is a monster.
What a game! You can see how fast Carlson’s mind works at the end. Great finish.
"There is the Queen, there is the Knight and there is mate, cool" - Magnus 2022 😅 Awesome stuff 5:18
How can you go from winning to straight losses. 😂
- There’s Vishy, there’s Sergey, there’s Fabiano and there’s Ian. Cool.
That scene where it showed the moves he was thinking about was epic
Calmly calls out every line to the end while Hikarus stressed making every move sound like a mistake
Ahhh a hikaru hater
He collecting the rage and when it full, he unleash the fatality😂
The way Magnus finishes someone when he smells blood is crazy
Love the recap views of his thought process!
I had to watch the last part with 50% reduced speed 😂
It's a pity we don't see the clocks
We have a saying in Sweden:
@@swedishpsychopath8795 we also having a saying in canada
@@evanl3985 Like what?
@@swedishpsychopath8795 not sure but we definitely have atleast one
@@evanl3985 I wouldn't believe that unless
Gets a bad position, is short on time and still checkmates the GM. amazing.

The end happened so fast It felt like I was watching a brain surgery being done
brain surgery is slow, you make no sense!
I'd imagine brain surgery happens a lot more slowly
@@tomwatts2923 maybe fast from the perspective of the patient 😂
I think a lot of people mentioned it but good job in thinking about adding a greyed out board!
I was kind of able to keep up with his explanations until he said he was low on time.... then it all went into bluegrass speed 😆
Speed of his thinking is unbelievable.
I want him to make an account where he always premoves. I'm curious to see what elo he could reach if he had to decide his next move before the opponent plays, every single time.
It’s probably harder to predict in the lower ELO probably.. haven’t someone done something like that already?
@@naveendennis we gotta get more precise on the rules: if the move he planned to do becomes illegal, he has to just move his king instead.
@@gildeddrake1479 Thats not what he meant. He meant it is not possible to climb with premoves, because lower elo are unpredictable
@@andresi126 I'd love for someone to test that theory.
@@gildeddrake1479 You test it. It doesn’t work.
5:20 so casual "cool"
Chess is simple only for him, the final is shocking
He plays faster then my brain can comprehend his moves
What is it I'm supposed to do here... When you realize mr. Carlsen has forgotten more about chess than I know
1:18 how i make the game allow that anticipated movement
3:24 if opponent went knight to E5 it would be game over
Did I miss a white move? Looked like the black knight moved twice in a row around 5:18 to capture the queen.
He made a premove
Ah makes sense thanks
Oh! There’s the queen😂😂😂😂
wtf was that ending. the dude is beyond
Legit chess genius.
That’s all the moves I’d of played as well.
Is it a trick though? I mean (0:30) when magnus plays Qd6 what happens if white plays his knight to e7? Knight threatens the Queen
Pawn hanging
AM, IM, GM, Super GM and Magnus
soo satisfying watching Magnus crush
Robsen: Omg I'm doing so good against the World Champion!
Magnus: mhm yeah, but no
mans a beast
Why is it so hard to follow the moves?

This is why Bobby Fischer started hating chess. It's all memorization.
This guy is simply not human 😅
Clean up in aisle E1.
why is this in the doge play list from vitamin delicious
He is a doge disguised as a human
dude this was my doge playlist on vitamin shadowbanned just saw this wth lol
4:49
dude didnt he take the pawn to trap the rook coz of the knight? 0 brancells lol
Quick finish by the eventually greatest ever
Why didn't he pin magnus' queen in move 10?
Cuz opponent will lose queen too
Just like that lol
awesome!!
who's this guy? he got potential
World Champion :)
😄
This Magnus guy is pretty good
I thought he retired. Huh.
Huh? I came here to watch chess ,who is this guy and what was this??
Is this Magnus guy any good? has He ever been world champion?
Fantastic comment
I feel like Magnus might have considered Qg2+ winning the queen at 5.14, but whatever.
Ho. Lee. Shit.
"cool"
Decent game from a guy in a basement.
But hey, ray is better at tactical puzzles.
Cool!
Cool
Too be expected, Carlsen is a great player, almost as good as Kasparov.
gay Robson🤣
