My theory is that the leprechaun isn‘t actually evil. He only appears when someone wastes food or steals. You see the cashier took the cereal without paying for them (maybe he‘s the shop owner but let‘s just say he isn’t) and threw the cereal from the box to the dirty floor which means that he wasted food just for a toy. There are tons of poor starving people searching for food. The leprechaun probably gave him nightmares just to teach him a lesson.
Edit: Or maybe the guy ate the whole cereal before getting the toys out of the box which made him get a sugar rush

For a lot of monsters that have giant grins, It seems to me that their face is just shaped that way, and they cant really stop smiling. The fact that you can see the leprechaun NOT smiling in the convenient store implies that he's genuinely gleeful while drowning the dude in lucky charms, making this all the most terrifying
Really would be the best way to make a monster, not just this thing without any expressions or just one expression but can change expression, makes it seem actually scary

The moral of this animation, is there's no reward for cheaters who never play fair. The cashier had been wasting cereal just to collect the 3 figurines. If he had really finished them before collecting, maybe the leprechaun will grant a nice wish.

If you notice, at the end the guy is in the same place he was when the tv started talking, so it could be that he never moved at all and the running was in his head
Raw talent. Big budget movie production sometimes can't create such appealing visuals, and this guy did it in his living room. Amazing
Yea I think the budget thing comes from paying animators to animate for you, but if you know how to animate yourself, no need to pay animators since you can just do it yourself and make a masterpiece like this one.
The fact is watched this atleast 100 times and now im a big fan of lucky charms and this animation. Wow.

I don't really like horror movies, because they make you get a feel for the characters and a lot of long breaks between actual scary scenes.
Short horror films like this one on the other hand just cut right to the chase with a little bit of context.

I felt sad for the guy when he regretted his choice and when he just starts barfing out a bunch of lucky charms it was horrifying

Great atmosphere with the gas station mini-mart. Also, one could think of some much deeper and disturbing meaning with the symbolism. The green marshmallow on the forehead , the kids cereal, the poisons many kids put into their bodies and ultimately their minds. Leaving them in a zombie comatose like state.

The animation was 10/10 awesome movements, facial expressions, and the horror was up there I even felt bad for the main dude 😭 he looked so innocent
The character and plot are too goofy for this to evoke any sort of fear, but credit where it's due, everything else is outstanding

Truly amazing! It blows me away that such talented people can do unbelievable work on a tiny budget while Disney’s CGI looks like shit on multimillion dollar budgets.

I feel like there is a deeper meaning behind this. It's not literal. He never got attacked by the Lucky Charms leprechaun. It's just that he's become a zombie at this point for how depressing and dull his job is, especially at night. The Lucky Charms he's spitting out is likely censored drool. He's become numb to his job. It's a very real and relatable horror.

as I see it: he's been brainwashed by TV to get this product (credit), so he got that cereal (credit) not paying for it. Then the big brother comes for him and he realizes the danger, tries to get rid of it, throwing a piece of the treasure to escape from big brother. but....big brother finds him, putting him into situation when he is lost or smt, and burries him in credits....the end...he is a vegetable, working same job and full of credits that are spilling from his mouth..

That was incredible! Thought there was going to be a humorous twist like he just wanted to buy a coke or something, but that was a nice surprise. Loved the end where you showed scenes of putting this all together as well.

It’s utterly shocking that only ONE MAN, ONE MAN made most of this entire thing! The motion, lighting, designing the stuff around. It’s insane! Well, some other people collaborated to make the music and some other stuff. But it’s amazing that one man created most of this
