I am driving the XC60 T6 late 22, I can verify it is quite easy to reach more than 80 km in pure mode. Thanx for the hint with heating. I was sometimes surprised about fuel consumption without leaving electric mode.
I'm very torn between the MY24 XC60 and the 2023 BMW iX3. Always liked Volvos, I like their understated design and safety, but the iX3 is fully electric, has all the same safety features, plus it has an amazing adaptive regenerative braking that makes driving effortless. The purpose of the car is for a small family and during the week is only used to go to the supermarket as I work from home. I'm really torn, Volvo's looks and power vs BMW's tech. 😂 Any opinions, suggestions are welcome!!!
I also have the XC60 T6 late 2022. Overall very satisfied but some annoying humming noise between 45 and 70 km/h and, even more annoying, between 115 and 130 km/h. My Volvo garage says this is normal but I don't believe it is. Am considering posting videos but would prefer finding a solution. Any idea what this could be? PM me please if you would like to know more. Thanks for honest reviews.
@@juliennguyen203 It is not systematic, sometimes stronger, sometimes nearly absent, recently less of an issue but on motorways noticeable. I thought it was stronger with humid weather, but am not sure. The noise comes from the front, not sunroof related. Some powertrain resonance or some air turbulence linked to the air suspension is what I suspect, but this is not conclusive. I will explore this further and, if not solved, contact the Volvo motherhouse. Otherwise a great car!
Got the T6 Recharge 22 model - let me say at the start the best car I've ever had but having a charge limit of somewhere between 33 and 38 miles is a bit of a joke really. I'll be sorry to see it go but at the same time very glad that's it's a company car that I can just hand back because in a couple of years I can't see this technology being something that will command high used prices (might be wrong?).
Explained why the average are low. City driving with many stops at red lights. In addition to general low speed on the city driving part. Maximum speed was around 80km/h
The battery aren't actually empty when it says it's empty. Always a backup. But your question are fairly easy to answer on. Just use the petrol engine horsepower 👍

Thx for this review. Makes me want to upgrade from my V60 D6 plug-in hybrid to a V90 or XC60 T8 recharge long range.
Very good review. Thank you. Could you also share with us the average consumption in a 500km trip (highway speeds) in hybrid mode?
Good question
I had recenty with MY23 450km route - 135km/h cruise speed, average speed 118km/h 8.9l. You can do 7.5-8.0 l/100km if crusing 100-120km/h.
@@tommihuhtinen8975 nice
@@tommihuhtinen8975 thank you for your feedback. I suppose that it was with full battery, right?
120 km/h no battery 565 km, full baggage amd 4 persons 7,7 l/100.
But te great goal, 5400 km 1,2 l/100 charging almost everyday.
It’s funny how they just had to cram in 1.5 stitches between the vent and gauge cluster 😂
How can you tell if your model supports the petrol or electric heating?
When will we see a full electric xc60?
Probably next year 👌
You didn’t get locked out of the car? Damn son progress is real.
Lol
are they more styles for virtual cockpit . I mean can you change the look, colour and so on ?
Thanks for Nice and interesting review.
How pleased are you with the car?
I am planning to buy one.
No problem 👌 I've owned a XC60 for about a year. This one in the video was a loaner. Was very pleased with my XC60.

Is the noise systematic or only when it rains? Maybe the joint of the sunroof

World be Interesting with 1000km test like Björn Nyland does with the electric cars…my guess I 1l/10km.
T6 recharge? Is this Volvo use T5+Motor as T8(T6+motor)?
It's actually the same T6 petrol engine in both the Recharge versions. It's just different power output

well, this nearly 80km has been done at 35 km/h on average, which is pretty low speed...

i know youre norwegian but it kinda sounds like youre french when speeking english haha
I’d love to measure the actual hps of a plugin. To see how much hps you lose with an empty battery.
