Hey man. Looking at getting this watch for running. Do you still use your Apple Watch as your regular watch for the smartwatch features? Then use your Coros for running?
I recently sold my Apple Watch, for a couple weeks I did do as you described and overtime realized I didn’t really need the smart features just really the fitness.
The benefit of the nylon strip is how tight it is (and supposedly that allows for slightly better heart rate data), but it does retain sweat for a couple hours…no smell yet
sleep analysis is pretty good, gives the four categories of sleep: awake, REM sleep, light sleep, and deep sleep. I can’t tell you how accurate those categories are but the overall sleep time is precise.
@@maxwellgarcia_ I have the suunto 9 baro titanium with a nylon strap every time I go for a run then there is a smell because of the sweat I am thinking of getting the coros pase 3 but with the plastic version the nylon holds the sweat and when we wash it it doesn't change anything
All those features you mentioned was copied from Garmin in China Coros HQ. It's copy but what they are unable to copy is algorithms. So all of this data is crunched by algorithms designed in China. Question is can you trust them. Keep in mind that Garmin developing their algorithms for 15+ for running.
On this topic ... If you are a serious athlete then it makes sense to buy the more costly Garmin.. but for everyone else who is running for fitness, won't matter so much.. as it's about how you improve relative to yesterday.. and for that Coros does the job..

They copy each other are you not going to trust Garmins Track Mode because they copied that from Coros?
