    What twinmotion needs to have and which is very important is the possibility to add a camera to the scene and have a properties panel to control it in the space + the camera along path feature and lock canera to object feature+select the camera in object panel...all kind of this stuff that twinmotion team needs to focus on urgently, this kind of things exist since the early versions of 3dsmax for ex.

      I agree with you, TM is lacking when it comes to working directly with cameras. The sequence feature we just received is a step in that direction though.

      Have any of you tried importing an animated camera as fbx to see if it works? I've been playing with the idea but haven't tried yet

    Nice to see your enthusiasm, as always.
    Just a little warning not to use this version for production work just yet - it's Preview for a reason, and I've heard of occasional crashes.
    Also, I tried creating a fabric material - works great in this version - but saved it to my 2023.2.3 User Library and it was not available.
    Looking forward to the 2024.1 production version.

    I've been looking to populate grass perfectly on a plane for example lets say a simple square surface (for landscape garden design) and without doing this manually I'm still yet to find a workaround to perfectly populate the grass on a 10m Plane. Can you or someone please point me in the right direction to a tutorial on how to do this? It would save a lot of time and processing power since I am painting on the grass at the minute which is causing the grass area to have thousands of instances.
    I was super excited with seeing this video and the new features in Twinmotion, I've tweaked all sorted of settings with the area / spacing tool but cannot get it to properly populate grass so that it looks contained to a rectangle / square or whatever path i draw. Please help...thank you. Subbed and liked!

      It is kind of tough to answer as the smaller the size of the area, the fewer elements you can get to fit in the area. It is too bad really. I might recommend you look into specific models of grass. I am sure you can find squares or shapes of grass in quixel or sketch fab. I look forward to being able to have more elements in areas in the future.

    Amazing. One thing for me is still missing: the option to read Revit views (cameras/3D) and show in the view/scenes. Architects need to have pre-set views, often a solid part of planning and study. Without this option we have to match their position, which is frustrating. I made this request 2 years ago but still nothing. Any workaround?

    • @ArchitectureVanguard
      @ArchitectureVanguard  3 месяца назад

      I get what you’re saying! The best workaround I’ve come up with is depending on the view you export, you’ll receive in TM what you see from that view in Revit. It could be a direct link view or even a separate datasmith exported view to receive exactly what you see in Revit. The camera location and all that, I unfortunately do not have a great solution for.

    nice, great breakdown as usual

    Actually you could always cut and paste one translator into another to have both motions. Drag and drop did not work, I guess now it does.😁

      You are right, that is something to remember when using the animation tools now, I like it!

    This feature of Twinmotion 2024.1 took so long to add this tool. Lumion and D5 render has this features long time ago

    • @ArchitectureVanguard
      @ArchitectureVanguard  3 месяца назад

      Which tool specifically? I know a handful of other render tools have had them but nonetheless, it's great to see it in TM!

    • @joyddeyto5345

      The additional features in populate. But i like TM coz its free. Hope they will add about camera sequencer which D5 and Lumion has already have also

    • @ArchitectureVanguard
      @ArchitectureVanguard  3 месяца назад

      Ahh yes, all the populate tools are fantastic! Yes you I hope to see more control over the canes in sequenced.

      I wish as well they make better water feature effects. This is important in architecture pool amenities and landscape design that Twinmotion ignored.

    What about render quality? Did it get better as they said?

      I did not test this specifically in the update video but I would say it’s something I need to test. Perhaps another video specifically for this.

      @@ArchitectureVanguard my advice try d5 render , i fell in love with it yesterday , i had time to play with both twinmotion and d5, i would have continued with twinmotion but the limitations made me switch , and the live link with 3dsmax is amazing .. when you import a model in max , d5 links and recognises the textures even lights !
