loved it too, do you know the name of the music that goes right after this in the film? I felt like it was from Thin Red Line but I am not sure it's not in the official soundtrack I think.
I love how they can make a goddess like Diana feel so human and vulnerable in scenes like this. Yeah we didn’t get much of her in action with 1984 WW, but in my opinion I believe that was the point so we could see more of her human side rather than her Amazonian badass side we had already become familiar with in her first movie.
@@enzonoire Batman is always the exception. Because he's Batman. Does raise the question of why Wonder Woman wasn't know as a mysterious saviour though, because even if she wasn't caught on camera she wasn't exactly hiding her actions either.
It’s amazing seeing her get her powers back, but so much anger in her and the running, then yelling scene So much emotion, because she had to give up Steve. 😔
I love the build up in the music when you see Diana angryily and tearfully running at full speed 4:11 - 4:18 and then we see her taking to the skies for the first time ever. The most epic moment of WW84
I cried so hard during this scene. The music is the absolute best part that pulls all the significance & symbolism together. I really needed the messages of truth that this movie told at the time that it came out, and I STILL cry at this scene. Sometimes... Life isn't fair. You can be the best of heroes, the most giving human being, and sometimes... It is still not enough. You will have to make that last sacrifice. That next step. You will have to weigh the choices, and, as unfair as it might be, choose the RIGHT one. Something about that truth really leaves me breathless. There's something to be admired in such a heroic sacrifice, no matter how seemingly small.
Hello everyone! After listening to "Already Gone", you guys should go listen to "Adagio in D Minor". It's the music used for the following scene after this track. Thank you to the commenters on this video, I wouldn't have known about this piece of music without them. Bless you and take care everyone ❤️ Side note: This scene wrecked me. Very bittersweet.
I watched it on Xmas day, and again last night and cried at the exact same spots, here being one of them. This song and the song after where she's in the air just are so climatic and beautiful they brought their own tears to the table.
Another masterpiece... the goodbye scene is very very emotional. :( Someones just throws away the relationships and not apprise thats while others wish to give everything for only one minute to be with the loved.
I have this track in my Spotify list and every single time it comes up, I get choked up and always feel like tearing up knowing which scene this music was played in. It's one of my favorites in the entire album but I avoid listening to it in public.
3:19 - 3:24 This little segment is very similar to a section of the Welsh national anthem! I think Hans Zimmer snuck it in as a little nod of recognition as the opening scenes with the young Diana were filmed in Wales!🏴 Using the beautiful landscapes of Snowdonia.❤
It would of been amazing if we got to see hanz Zimmer and the late James horner compose an epic / romantic film would of been biblical what a scene in the film hit every emotion
If you want to heal the world, then someone's gotta take the first step. Sometimes, one step is enough. This...was Diana's first step. She let go of the only thing that she loved most. And in the process, she became wise enough to teach the world to take another step.
I didn't see that way, and it makes perfectly sense. She let go of him, because Steve told her so. For her she had stayed with him forever, she loves him beyond anything! It's the one thing she had always wanted in her life. Sad and heartbreaking lovestory.
This scene... Makes me think about my logical voice telling my heart throughout my current divorce process... and then the sprint while screaming is literally my heart during this time having to choose to let go...
MRS GAL GADOT and MRS PATTY JENKINS, you both inspire me to become the first ever openly autistic Oscar Academy Award winner this April in 2021 in Beverly Hills Los Angeles California at Dolby Theater. You saved my life. I am twenty six years old, I'll turn 27 in Jerusalem this May 15th, and I use artificial intelligence and computer machine learning technology to daily save lives from car collisions at Mobileye Intel in Jerusalem Israel. I would be super honored to meet you Gal and Patty at the Oscars this April. I am a Israeli. I also finished Wonder Woman 1984 too. It was brilliant.
Been listening to the soundtrack, haven't seen the movie yet, looking for the song that would hurt, and this is probably it. Probably in a sad scene I don't want to watch. Bad enough losing your love once. :(
I don't care what people say about this movie this hit home so hard. To me wonder woman will all ways love Steve no matter who is she with but batman maybe you me but it will all ways be wonder woman and Steve together for all eternity.
It has its plot contrivances - fully fuelled jet at a museum, not a clue why Steven needed to be trapped in another dude's body (raises issues about consent for when they had their, uh... snuggling time), not sure how the satellite counts as "touching everyone," etc - but I honestly found it so easy to look over that stuff when I was watching it. Very fun!
Not sure if anyone else feels this way but the music does have some 'The Pacific' and 'Band of Brothers' vibe. And yes, I friggin cried all over this in the cinema.
I cried coz I can relate. I almost died last year in motorcycle crash. I couldn't think of both my parents to loosing me. They're too old. And loosing me must be unbearable for them 😭😭😭
Does this song remind anyone else of Pain, Loss, and Love? specifically the main theme around 2:35? I love this part of the track but can't remember where I first heard the melody!
Totally! That’s the love theme from the first movie (The last bit from Pain, Loss & Love), but maybe “Hans Zimmer-ized”. It’s such a beautiful theme and I was so glad to hear it again since none of the tracks from the previous film was in the score 🥺
The tone from both composers isn't the same. Personally I prefer WW soundtrack but WW84 has amazing one as well, the ones where Diana and Steve are together. I wish we had more time, Fireworks, Open road and Already gone. And from the sketches In love.
This is why i prefer wonder woman over cosmic karen. A female superheroine who's allowed to be vulnerable when she needs to be, humanizing her character and spread the message of true equality
I prefer wonder woman as well. But Captain Marvel is not a cosmic karen, It's just people conflating what Brie Larson did with the actual great character of Captain Marvel in the comics.
Don't mind about that. In these days the majority is haters only. You love it? Nobody has a say about that. It's a nice movie but way below WW, this one is amazing.
The shot of her crying and running through the street was so powerful. It made me tear up. Then when she flys following soon after gave me bumps. I wish the rest of the movie was directed as well. Ultimately for me it was a disappointment.
