I love this so much, but if I was one of the marimba players on the Rondo, I'd be torching the place down that the video did not document their incredible performances that made it so special.
They really are magnificent. Actually, all the military bands are incredible and I am so glad we as a country make instrumental music an important tradition in our mission to spread joy and goodwill.
ty2, I don't think you have heard music of the last 50 years! "Most?" Surely, not. I thought the reaction of the crowd was far more than deserving to a rather dull in parts piece of music. There are some interesting even clever sections, craft surely, Inspiring. I think not. You might investigate Peter Boyer as an example. Found Mr Schoenberg by way of an Amazon Classical Music tread I follow. I try to hear as much newer music as I can, and will seek out more of Mr Sch., although he is not represented on Naxos as far as I can find
+Irwin Moss Peter Boyer's music is, in the words of Mr Shakespeare, "full of sound and fury signifying nothing." Try any one of a number of other American-born composers, including my composition teacher, Clifton Williams.
these movements move with colours abounding moving, talking to each other in beautiful ways. totally wonderful.

Thank you kindly!
In my opinion the U S Marine Band is far-and-away the finest of all the U S Military Service bands.
Joseph Carl Breil have you heard the Coast Guard band?
Thank you, kindly!

+ty2 Your opinion is just that, your own. Not everyone agrees. Such is life. Get used to it.
