Well I am part of microlux and it’s one of the biggest watch shows along with windup. We were in Austin last year and are returning to Austin this November 11th - 12th. I believe JM will be there again as they were last year. I hope to see you in Austin and congrats on your Americana. Enjoy.
Congrats on yours. Hmm I can’t recall if these were initially LE’s. If so then perhaps they’re not including the extras as they re-released them. If that’s the case I would have preferred that JM maintained the LE. What’s the point of introducing the watch as an LE if they don’t keep it that way.
@@whatsonthewrist I will know the definitive answer when it arrives. I actually found them via You tube search. I originally wanted the Seiko Presage Sharp Edge GMT until I found that the Bezel is stationary ( I was looking for that 48 click Bezel to track IST, which is 5.5 + UTC),. I then saw the word Traska being thrown around a lot , but their Venturer GMT is sold out at the moment. Then I saw the Jack Mason. While I am not sure if the strat-o-timer is worth $1000 as they don't mention where the parts come from (Most likely from China + Japan or just China), I decided to give it a shot solely because of the 48 Click Bezel + the GMT movement.
@@KalidasRadhakrishnanI’ll say the watch is solidly made and looks rich. While the cost of any watch is debatable, this falls in line with its quality. At $1k it is their first entrance into this price point, prior their watches were priced on the lower side.
Has all the features I like in a sport watch. Diameter, Thickness good and a GMT ... It's a stunner. No watch budget now, camera upgrades next. Good show.
Hi! Ritchie i want to place an order with the Espresso GMT Strat-0-Timer 7link Wrist Strap +2 rubber JM Straps one for my Hydrotimer Dive Watch that have now a couple of weeks ago thanks Ritchie God bless everyone
Sure, yes, I agree. This was more of first impressions. Maybe I’ll do a follow up showing your idea on different straps and how the watch itself has been. 👌
Nice color ways but basically $1000 is mostly for the movement. Yeah I get that is a desirable GMT movement used in more expensive watches but maybe priced at $795 then I would be on their website ordering the Pepsi right now. But that movement is growing on me so we’ll see. I think the tan leather strap u showed us too light. Should go with a dark brown.
JM is my hometown brand. I was at the Stratotimer unveiling party. I have the Americana (pepsi). Another party is happening in Sept. You should come.

I am not sure if you still get those freebies. There was no mention of extra straps or luggage tags when you buy one. I ordered one a few days ago.

@@whatsonthewrist Awesome. Thanks for that review. The Cappuccino one is the one that I ordered. I am sure I will enjoy it
Let me know your thoughts when you get it.

Yes I’m interested in your camera upgrades too, James.
Thanks Ritchie
Hope your well my friend 🙏
Hi, JJ. I’m well, hope you are too. Just been busy. 🙏👌

Congrats and enjoy all the goodies. 🍻
Nice watch and nice review. Well done.
Thank you.
I’d go for the espressos as well but like you said the candy corn is also nice. Rubber strap for me though. Overall nice offering. 👍
Thanks, Stephen. 👌
Man I was hoping you swapped the bands on video and also showed us the spring release on the bands.
Hi, Raymond. I’ve actually kept it on the bracelet the entire time as of today. The bracelet is very good.
Would have been nice to see shots on the wrist - perhaps with all three straps/bracelet…😊

Hi, Tom. $795 might not make this watch feasible from a business perspective. I like the idea of a dark brown leather strap too.
I like the Espresso color way.
Yep same here, Greg.
Great watches.
I’m enjoying mine. Hope you continue to enjoy yours as well.
Looks like decent diver.😎
HI, iDid. I mean you can certainly take it into water because of its 200m WR.
