This software has blown my mind since the moment I’ve tried it! It’s crazy to think that not that long ago, we would spend hours in Photoshop to retouch skin and get high-end editing in our photos. Many times, failing at it after all that time invested. (I wasn’t good at it at all). And now, with this editing software, you can get insane results in just a few seconds. 🥲 As a portrait photographer, I couldn’t be happier with this release. 😍 Get the free trial and check it out!
This program looks so amazing, I always had trouble with people editing. Hey Laura, even if you don't have perfect skin, your expression in your pictures have so much glow which comes from your personality and transports so much energy. Love it!!
Been using Luminar for years and really like it (except the slowness of the program). But, this is a hefty price point for entry into this program. 300 USD is very pricey even for a working professional. It certainly has it uses especially when doing senior portraits and needing that perfect skin. But even at the subscription model price it is more than you pay for the sub to Adobe. Yes, it gives us our time back which is costly for us, but can it guarantee that you book more clients with the time saved? II just don't see the ROI for this right now. But than you for sharing the video and congrats on the new place and def keep the videos coming!
Hi Laura! WOW...this software is INSANE!!! Wishing you and yours a happy holiday season. May the new year bring good health, love, happiness, and prosperity! 🥰🥰🥰
Hola Laura, these shots are amazing😍.You look gorgeous. This program looks fantastic, I love the way you balance editing and how not to overdue the pictures. Overbrushing and basically changing the model image and showing them in unrealistic light is not something I'm into.More realistic and natural editing that's what I'm after. Thank you so much for sharing this video. Brilliant material as always. Big love always, and Happy Christmas🎄❤
Hey Laura.... This is exactly what I've been looking for in my portrait photography journey! 🙌 Love how you broke down each feature so clearly, especially the before/after comparisons. The results look so natural, which is crucial for professional work. Your genuine excitement about the software really shows through, and I appreciate your honesty about how it fits into your workflow. Thanks for sharing your new creative space with us too - can't wait to see more content from your Bali adventures! 🌴✨ #PhotographyTips #PortraitPhotography
I want to thank you for your inspiration and encouragement you present in all your work. I still have the challenge to work on my self photo's and hope to learn to market the work i have done in my own journey.
It's okay, I pre-ordered back in like july. Evoto is better. Hopefully they bring some updates to add better features, speed especially when editing groups. Sometime it doesn't recognize minor blemishes. Ill have to revisit it and confirm but i stop using it because it was not removing obvious acne.
I have the M3. Pretty powerful laptop. Check out the minimum requirements for this software in their website or join the free trial to see how it works in yours before deciding. 😊 That’s the best thing you can do to test it out.
@@LauraBC I just wanted to know in general how much RAM, SSD storage, and which chip M3 Pro or Max? And what you do with it? Asking because I am planning to buy a MacBook Pro for photography and video and I am not sure about the configuration.
Great tool but we should try to embrace the natural look! I know, clients want perfection but shouldn’t we offer them truth? (btw, I really love what you do, I wish I could come and meet you someday!)
But another 300 hundred usd a year? I struggle paying the 10 a month for lightroom. IM not saying it aint worth it, the time saving for some will make it a no brainer, but for me its a lil rich no matter how much I like it.
When I worked as a creative director in London, I had to hire high-end retouchers for our studio for over £400 ($500) per day. 🫠 This is a premium software that allows even beginner photographers to do the job of a high-end retoucher. And even bulk editing saving days of work. It actually saves you a tone of money. But of course, depending on your work. Many people may not need it yet. It all depends on your current photography career. Reason why everyone needs to think if it’s worth it for them or not. 😊💕
Of course. It’s not for every budget. This software literally does the job of a professional retoucher. So you really need to be into portrait photography to make it worth it. 🙏🏼
Understandable, but that mentality will leave you behind… I wasn’t happy with the idea of AI in many aspects. But unfortunately, AI is here to stay. And it has incredible benefits to help us grow. Either we adapt, embrace it, and level up, or we refuse and become obsolete. Same happened when social media was introduced. Many people refused to be in social media and those who are, are winning. We have to stop this mentality and see the positives. 💕
@ I totally agree about Generative AI and highly manipulated photos. 🙏🏼 Totally agree. But in this case, it’s just skin retouching for portrait photography, nothing similar to that level of AI and photo manipulation.
Why is a photography editing tutorial and a review of a new released software for photographers advertisement? Can you explain? 🫠 Don’t you go to RUclips to check reviews and learn? This video is exactly that. A review and an educational tutorial. This is an educational photography channel and photography is everything. Learning about gear, editing software, business knowledge, reviews… If that is advertisement for you… I don’t think RUclips is for you. 😅
Where did you see that price? 😅 I can see that is $287 US dollars per year. A high end retoucher salary is 8 times that price, per month. 🥲 Of course a software like this is expensive. But anyway, that price is way higher than the one I can see through my link. 😄 And thank you! I’m glad you like my videos. 🥰
So... doing a photo editing tutorial that provides knowledge, help beginner photographers edit professionally to actually grow and make money in their business, and help every creative out there to be up to date about the newest tools in the industry is advertisement? This is a bit of an ungrateful comment if you ask me. Not just towards me but towards others who struggle to edit and found this tutorial useful. And I'm confused. An artist supporting AI? What? AI tools to retouch skin professionally so we don't have to spend hours and hours in Photoshop masking and cloning to do the exact same thing as this software, has nothing to do with other types of AI. Can you tell me the difference between altering a photo manually in Photoshop like it's been done for decades and using easy AI tools to achieve the same results in seconds? Apart from saving a lot of time of course. 🥲
@@LauraBC Look, I get where you're coming from, though I certainly didn't ask what you thought was grateful (I have supported you for years, btw). Currently, there is no ethical way to train AI models, and the tools you're promoting are built off of stolen input, taken from unconsenting artists. Obv AI is not going away, but we don't have to just pretend there's nothing to say about it. My comment will be here for awareness, not to disparage you, as those who want to utilize the tutorial will do so! Much love.
@_roshi Of course, and I do appreciate your comment and your opinion. 💕 But how exactly do you know how this software was trained? I totally understand your point of view. And of course, I don’t agree AT ALL with that unethical way to train AI either. But guessing that every AI tool has used unethical ways is not the right approach either. So many AI tools have been ethically built and have been made to help us. So I understand the hate towards AI but not all AI is built equal. Do you know that Instagram is doing what you said? And nobody talks about it or hates Instagram. But they’re the biggest unethical platform feeding AI and algorithms with our stories, photos, videos and even private conversations. There is no way to escape this unfortunately. 🥲 Thank you so much for your support these years. ❤️ And of course, I appreciate other opinions and thoughts.
@@LauraBC I do get what you're saying, it's just naively optimistic. And actually many people do talk openly about IG, which I'm no longer a part of, but of course we'll be in our own echo chambers when it comes to Meta so I understand you not knowing that. It's not worth arguing over further, just a difference in worldview! I appreciate that you can at least acknowledge the negatives and just hope that you would [continue to?] vet the companies you promote--it's never been more important as an influencer ❤

Does this work with group photos?
If I was doing photography as my job then I would get it but as I'm just doing it as a hobby to help me dealwith my sight loss
No editing need. You Are Beautiful Inside And Out

Luminar Neo es One time payment, Adobe son solo $10 dolares
