@TheProphetNabob Organic farming is more about what chemicals get into your food and protecting the land. There are three options for weeds in commercial production; chemicals, manual tillage, or flame. Chemicals are obviously out, and manual tillage destroys the subsurface ecosystem which leads to erosion. Flaming uses very little propane. Not to mention that unless you expect to put horses/oxen back in the fields you aren't going to grow enough food to feed the world without using petroleum products. Unless of course you have a solar powered tractor up your sleeve that can do the same job....
chemicals are not the most clever solution don't you think? would you eat that stuff afterwards? We mostly do eat it however because we have no control over those growing methods, but what we can do is grow for ourselves or contribute to small scale agriculture. There are some occasions where chemicals might be good. For instance Pesticide saved my whole tomato yield this year. Please note thought that in my case the very minimal application was sufficient to get rid of the problem

@TheProphetNabob
how does the use of flame make this, in any way, less organic?

Chemicals would kill the extensive root systems of some weeds, flame would not.

so this would mean that organic tobacco is ok for your health?
ahahhahahahahahah
Totally lol
This would not work in a garden with many decorative plants weeds grow around.
toofunkyniki it’s meant for row crops including veggies.
Its made for corn primarily , but good to know it wouldn't work in your garden!
