Something I have realized, I’m pretty sure that the room with a bunch of Mr. Stitchy drawings is supposed to be the room for TIO whenever he was a human, and the Mr. Stitchy plush is what he used to summon his friend from beyond. This also means that TIO is probably the son of the person who has been placing notes all over the kingdom. And another thing, in the distraction chapter ending cutscene, TIO said that his friend (mr Stitchy) “made that very clear to everyone”, while fire rose from the background, meaning that Mr. Stitchy probably burned TIO at the stake.
I shall make sense of the story. Tio is the son of the king and queen of the kingdom. They're names are milo and voila. Tio made freinds with the demon mr stitchy. A demonic beast that created the insolence ( I am assuming ). He gave him a mask and gave him powers ( I think? ) and he started to become like him and he didn't like it. He cursed the kingdom ( idk how ) and took him to a different dimension. And the king and queen made people search for him. They never found him and Tio stayed there becoming his assistant. This is info based of notes btwm
