  • PoolRx+ is a simple way to keep your pool algae-free all season long. It is also effective in cleaning a green pool and a side benefit of the product is that you will use less chlorine in the pool all season long. It is a great way to save on the cost of chlorine which has become very expensive, making the PoolRx+ significantly lower if you factor in the savings benefits.
    PoolRx is a Mineral Technology that does two very simple things when used in your pool or spa; it eliminates all algae and will allow you to use less chlorine during the pool season. The active ingredient is Copper Sulphate Pentahydrate and silver (chelated).
    What Chelated means is that the metals in the PoolRx have been bonded to form two coordinated bonds similar to what Metal Sequestering Agents do. This means that the Metal ions will remain in the PoolRx unit with no metal ions being introduced into the pool or spa water. This prevents any metal staining on the pool surface
    Make sure that you choose the right size PoolRx+ unit so that the treatment will be effective. You can place it either in your skimmer or pump basket. When you first insert the unit run your pool for 3-4 hours. Then run it the normal cycle to get at least one full cycle of water from the pool, into the filter, and back into the pool again. The PoolRx+ unit should last 4-6 months.
    PoolRx+ is ideal for a saltwater pool also. It will extend the life of your salt cell as you run the system at a lower output while PoolRx+ is present in the pool, typically 50% less output. PoolRx+ minerals also include a de-scaler that will prevent scale from attaching to the salt cell meaning less cleaning of the cell is needed. Also since it is generating less, the pH won't rise as high requiring less acid to be added to the pool.
    Using the PoolRX on your pool route will save you time and money. The manufacturer's claim of saving 20-30% on chemical cost is not far-fetched and once you try a PoolRx in one of your accounts you will be amazed! With thousands of reviews, online this is a true 5-star rated product.
    PoolRx+ is a Mineral Technology that does two very simple things when used in your pool or spa; it eliminates all algae and will allow you to use less chlorine during the pool season. The active ingredient is Copper Sulphate Pentahydrate, silver & Zinc (chelated).
    If you haven’t tried PoolRx before it is something to really consider now in this era of industry-wide hyperinflation.

    I always would develop green algae on the walls and especially in the deep end. Nothing too much but enough to embarass me if we had company and I would always brush the walls good before company came but it would come back in a day or two. I did everything to no avail and all readings looked good. I tried Pool RX and I have never had that problem again. I have used it for years. I put one in the filter basket in April and use it until October (6 months-one unit). Southern California here, hot summers. Problem solved…. Thanks David

      Same here! I just installed the blue and white unit in our filter basket. So far it’s working well. How often are you shocking your pool?

    • @teacherlynn671
      @teacherlynn671 Год назад +2

      @@thepianochannel5167 I try to shock it once a week but sometimes I don’t even do that. I do check my water constantly in the hotter weather and maintain good levels, however. I also use liquid chlorine mainly and have never emptied my pool. Most out here empty and re-fill the pool every couple of years. I took out my chlorinator when it broke and never replaced it. In these hot months I use a floater and use liquid chlorine as the primary supply of chlorine. With the liquid chlorine I can go to higher levels at times and that seems to be my way of shocking the water. I use about a gallon of liquid every few days in these really hot months along with the floater but if my cyanuric acid goes too high I use only liquid. I use a clarifier and an algaecide and pool perfect with phos free and use the Pool RX in the basket and that is all. Pool looks great.

      @@apolloorosco6852 Make sure your chlorine is right. Chlorine is the answer for everything. If your Cyanuric Acid is high then you need to run your pool at higher amounts of chlorine. Remember that. Keep all things in good levels but Chlorine is the key to it all.

    We used PoolRx last summer and it was the greatest thing ever. We have a persistent yellow algae problem and it completely made our lives with our pool easier.
    I installed our PoolRx a week ago and have noticed the bottom of our pool (especially in the corners) getting brownish blotchy stains. We have never had that before. I am upset with myself because we DID NOT test for metals prior to installing the PoolRx (we didn't last year either.) Now because I was negligent, have I wrecked the pool? We did notice there was staining on the steps prior to putting in the PoolRx that had never happened before, but I thought it was because we had let our pool get pretty bad over the winter (it was swampy and black). (We did have it back to blue and balanced before putting in the PoolRx this year.) The stains on the steps come off easily with vitamin C but not so with the stains on the liner at the bottom. Any ideas? Is it safe to use a metal stain remover with PoolRx? Should we remove the PoolRx? THANKS!!

    • @SPL
      @SPL  2 года назад +1

      It's too late to remove the PoolRx now but try adding 2-3 lbs of ascorbic acid powder to the pool. That should remove the staining. Before next season use a Culator 4.0 in the pump basket for 30 days, then a PoolRX.
