When someone offers you tea in pakistan or india it usually means (not exactly) "Im at your service" kinda thing and usually you would kindly deny it as a sign of acknowledging the gesture. If they actually want to have tea with you, they would insist twice or more times. If it's once, that just means that they are being extra courteous to you. It made me laugh so hard when you took the security guy's tea, he was just being courteous, poor fella hahah

The Indian Flag was hoisted in the golden temple after it was attacked by the Indian government in 1984 (second out of 4 times it happened at the same Gurdwara) 140+ gurdwaras were attacked simultaneously on the anniversary of Guru Arjan Dev Ji’s martydom (sikh guru who created the gurdwara) when they attacked they took down the Sikh Flag the Nissan Sahib, and hoisted the Indian flag which was then taken down a few days later, basically Sikhs have their own flag and believe in sovereignty (which is part of the religion) but the Indian flag was forcefully hoisted after taking our flag down after genocide, which was then followed by the 1984 November sikh genocide which was even worse and then followed by the decade of disappearances

Then Shri Nanak Ji thought that this is the Ultimate God who is sitting on the throne; Kabir will be a servant here, but the lok is different from all. God is very effulgent. While Nanakji is thinking all this, the effulgent form of God stood up and KavirDev sat down on the throne. Then, the actual visible effulgent form of God started moving whisk on Kabir Sahib. Thereafter, Kabir Sahib’s effulgent form vanished into Kabir Sahib. And only, Supreme God KavirDev is sitting on the throne; and the chavar /Whisk began to drift on its own. I lived in Dubai for a while and seeing Indians comments on social media makes me dis*usted While there are millions of Indians from different backgrounds in the Middle East like UAE, Kuwait and Bahrain...etc They are very welcomed there but look at these comments of some people agreeing with that man I hope North Americans especially in Canada and Middle Easten treats them like they treat others.

They don't need to be paid for sweeping in the temple aka gurdwara because it's a community service for free it's called SEWA in India. They get pleasure out of it and find it humbling. They're offering their services for spiritual and religious harmony. 🎉🎉

love your vlogs harry , have been hooked to your channel ever since i saw the afghanistan vlog , this was another great entry into long list of amazing vlogs but one thing i wanted to clear out was regarding the conversation you had with the gentleman who had lived in the us for 10 years , the feelings he aired about muslims and pakistan were his own personal feelings , possibly a result of the partition horrors he has heard about from his family and a bit of ignorance . So , please don't frame it in your mind as the entire nation's verdict on pakistan and islam in general as i know that most indians really respect not just islam but all the religions and many parts of india , especially punjab , share a lot of cultural and linguistic similarities with many parts of pakistan . I hope you read this and next time you come to india ( delhi , in particular ) i'll invite for a dinner . Love everybody regardless of their colour, caste , gender , sexuality or social or economic background ( a message to everyone )
from my experience most indians don't. Pretending doesn't help. There are many that have put a history that they havent experienced behind them, but Pakistani's are more willing to embrace indians in general than vice versa

Discussion here is NOT about god; rather greeting, India is union is states, each state having their own language. When he goes to Nepal or Tamil Nadu he doesn’t greet in Namaste or Sat Siri Akal, the reason they don’t respond back to him; they love their mother tongue so much.

Sri guru nanak dev ji didn't go to any muslim or hindu school. He was the first guru of sikhs as well as the founder of sikhism he started the third religion sikhism due to various reasons that are also taught to sikhs through gurbani. At a very young age he was offered to wear a janeyu and became a pandit or hindu by a hindu priest and then later on he was also offered to become a muslim but the guru initiated sikhism. The word SIKH means a LEARNER of THE GURU which means THE TEACHER. And not only sikhs are familiar to sikhism but also other communities of panjab are familiar to each other's religion very well since ancient times be it hindu,muslim,christian etc.,. The way that respected muslim elder said "WAHEGURU JI KA KHALSA AND WAHEGURU JI KI FATEH" and other sikhs "NAMASKAR" reflects this beauty of strong brotherhood of all communities in panjab. panjab is also known as the land of "GURUS-PEERS-DEVIS-DEVTAS" (of all religions)🙏and the sikhs who have taken "AMRIT" wear blue cholas which you were referring to in you other youtube vlog they are known as "NIHANG SINGH" ,"BHUJANGI SINGH" OR "KHALSA"(which means pure or true) . after taking amrit they become the part of the "KHALSA'S ARMY" started by the tenth guru of sikhs sri guru gobind singh sahib ji maharaj. 🙏

Reason you got kicked out: Although golden temple became tourist site but actually, its a religious place . We visit there to offer prayers,sewa,learn,peace of mind... You know there are always some rules and restrictions to visit religious places but in our religion everyone is welcomed to gain knowledge and experience only with some restrictions of actions. In recent years, It has been found that some people made videos for entertainment purposes in harmandir sahib that hurts sentiments of community and religious people due to which videography and photography is not allowed there and you did it after knowing it and that too during ishnan( holydip) and alot of people do videgraphy and photography after being restricted thats why sewadars( that you called sikh police) take strict actions now. secondly, there is a langar hall for meals. Thirdly, people don't sleep there because they donot have place to sleep. They sleep or spent time on floor because they want to spend time in gurudwara ( reciting prayers, listenning prayers, doing sewa(community service) etc) by their own will. Moreover, everything you saw there have a deep meaning you could have learnt after spending some time there like everybody is treated equally or there is one god(we call it waheguru) for whom everyone is equal. ( no discrimination based on colour, caste,creed,nationality,religion etc) Providing free meals that is too have significance of equal treatment to all and nobody should think that he is greater than any other being should sit and eat with all regardless of differences and also, service for humanity is a reason. I hope you can understand and any other people who thinks there was bad treatment.

The Indian Flag was hoisted in the golden temple after it was attacked by the Indian government in 1984 (second out of 4 times it happened at the same Gurdwara) 140+ gurdwaras were attacked simultaneously on the anniversary of Guru Arjan Dev Ji’s martydom (sikh guru who created the gurdwara) when they attacked they took down the Sikh Flag the Nissan Sahib, and hoisted the Indian flag which was then taken down a few days later, basically Sikhs have their own flag and believe in sovereignty (which is part of the religion) but the Indian flag was forcefully hoisted after taking our flag down after genocide, which was then followed by the 1984 November sikh genocide which was even worse and then followed by the decade of disappearances
Thousands of Sikhs killed by hindus in the year 1984, this was a sad realty

Nanak bugoyad jan tura, tere chaakraan paakhaak”
There is so much brightness in Sachkhand, Shri Nanak saw that an infinitely bright illumined human-like God (who was sitting on the throne) as if in one hair follicle, there is more brightness than the combined light of crore suns and crore moons (but there is no warmth). On his own another form (Jinda Mahatma जिन्दा महात्मा), Kabir Sahib started moving whisk / doing chanvar (चंवर) as a humble servant.
Then Shri Nanak Ji thought that this is the Ultimate God who is sitting on the throne; Kabir will be a servant here, but the lok is different from all. God is very effulgent. While Nanakji is thinking all this, the effulgent form of God stood up and KavirDev sat down on the throne. Then, the actual visible effulgent form of God started moving whisk on Kabir Sahib. Thereafter, Kabir Sahib’s effulgent form vanished into Kabir Sahib.
And only, Supreme God KavirDev is sitting on the throne; and the chavar /Whisk began to drift on its own. Then Nanak Ji said that You are the Master and I recognize you as Waheguru from Satyanaam. This process took three days. Sahib Kabir Ji returned the soul of Nanak to the body. On the third day, Shri Nanak came to his senses. After realizing Kabir Saheb as a God in Satlok, Shri Nanak Ji said ‘ Waheguru’ Satnaam.

love your vlogs harry , have been hooked to your channel ever since i saw the afghanistan vlog , this was another great entry into long list of amazing vlogs but one thing i wanted to clear out was regarding the conversation you had with the gentleman who had lived in the us for 10 years , the feelings he aired about muslims and pakistan were his own personal feelings , possibly a result of the partition horrors he has heard about from his family and a bit of ignorance . So , please don't frame it in your mind as the entire nation's verdict on pakistan and islam in general as i know that most indians really respect not just islam but all the religions and many parts of india , especially punjab , share a lot of cultural and linguistic similarities with many parts of pakistan . I hope you read this and next time you come to india ( delhi , in particular ) i'll invite for a dinner . Love everybody regardless of their colour, caste , gender , sexuality or social or economic background ( a message to everyone )
from my experience most indians don't. Pretending doesn't help. There are many that have put a history that they havent experienced behind them, but Pakistani's are more willing to embrace indians in general than vice versa

Discussion here is NOT about god; rather greeting, India is union is states, each state having their own language. When he goes to Nepal or Tamil Nadu he doesn’t greet in Namaste or Sat Siri Akal, the reason they don’t respond back to him; they love their mother tongue so much.

Sir, every country has it's own history. What Japan did to USA and USA did to Japan, what colonizer of America did to local people of America. Muslims did the same thing in India. Sri guru nanak dev ji didn't go to any muslim or hindu school. He was the first guru of sikhs as well as the founder of sikhism he started the third religion sikhism due to various reasons that are also taught to sikhs through gurbani. At a very young age he was offered to wear a janeyu and became a pandit or hindu by a hindu priest and then later on he was also offered to become a muslim but the guru initiated sikhism. The word SIKH means a LEARNER of THE GURU which means THE TEACHER. And not only sikhs are familiar to sikhism but also other communities of panjab are familiar to each other's religion very well since ancient times be it hindu,muslim,christian etc.,. The way that respected muslim elder said "WAHEGURU JI KA KHALSA AND WAHEGURU JI KI FATEH" and other sikhs "NAMASKAR" reflects this beauty of strong brotherhood of all communities in panjab. panjab is also known as the land of "GURUS-PEERS-DEVIS-DEVTAS" (of all religions)🙏and the sikhs who have taken "AMRIT" wear blue cholas which you were referring to in you other youtube vlog they are known as "NIHANG SINGH" ,"BHUJANGI SINGH" OR "KHALSA"(which means pure or true) . after taking amrit they become the part of the "KHALSA'S ARMY" started by the tenth guru of sikhs sri guru gobind singh sahib ji maharaj. 🙏

Although golden temple became tourist site but actually, its a religious place . We visit there to offer prayers,sewa,learn,peace of mind... You know there are always some rules and restrictions to visit religious places but in our religion everyone is welcomed to gain knowledge and experience only with some restrictions of actions. In recent years, It has been found that some people made videos for entertainment purposes in harmandir sahib that hurts sentiments of community and religious people due to which videography and photography is not allowed there and you did it after knowing it and that too during ishnan( holydip) and alot of people do videgraphy and photography after being restricted thats why sewadars( that you called sikh police) take strict actions now.
secondly, there is a langar hall for meals.
Thirdly, people don't sleep there because they donot have place to sleep. They sleep or spent time on floor because they want to spend time in gurudwara ( reciting prayers, listenning prayers, doing sewa(community service) etc) by their own will.
Moreover, everything you saw there have a deep meaning you could have learnt after spending some time there like everybody is treated equally or there is one god(we call it waheguru) for whom everyone is equal. ( no discrimination based on colour, caste,creed,nationality,religion etc)
Providing free meals that is too have significance of equal treatment to all and nobody should think that he is greater than any other being should sit and eat with all regardless of differences and also, service for humanity is a reason.
I hope you can understand and any other people who thinks there was bad treatment.
