male kpop dances that help BEGINNERS improve - with reasoning!

- Hope you enjoyed 🦋
I'm sorry for uploading this later than expected. I do not follow as many boy groups as girl groups, so this video took a lot longer to make than the first one.
Please do NOT learn these dances if you have not had any prior practice, as they are challenging for beginners.
FAQ's related to dancing 🦋:
Q: How do I make myself look less awkward while dancing?
A: I feel like most people are really awkward when they first start out. I think most of it relies on confidence and execution. Master the facial expressions. Ik it's easier said than done, but try as hard as possible. This brings me to the next question.
Q: How can I make sure I am not overdancing or underdancing?
A: Check yourself with a mirror. If you look like you're trying TOO hard, then that's not a good thing. This is something that even the best dancers struggle with. You have to do the moves correctly without making it seem like you aren't doing the moves to the fullest or putting too much energy into them. I think it comes with time and practice, you will know what makes you look cool and what doesn't make you look cool.
Q: How long have you been dancing?
A: I danced a lot when I was younger, just not k-pop style. As for k-pop dancing, I started about 2 years ago.
If I get more questions, I will make a video on these topics! 🦋

My first dance was gogo 😹🙌✨
Look at me looking like a dry squid while trying to learn a TXT choreography-
ugh txt's title track choreos are so hard, i didnt put any on this list because they're mostly group-oriented so it would be hard to dance to them alone and look normal lol

dude I learned Gods Menu and it is SO HARD BUT, you will improve a TON, especially if you need help getting fit. It definitely improved my stamina.
currently practicing dynamite by BTS but the first day I practiced without stretching, geez I can't continue the 2nd day lmao. Tips: do streching first HAHAHAHA

I just saw Boy With Luv and clicked bye-
I'm actually trying to learn the Dynamite choreo hey
and I know every stays know and memorize the chorus of God's Menu even though not doing the exact dance like lol we're clowns and we're also crackheads like stray kids especially while dancing the chorus of God's Menu jusko mura jud ko og buang while gasayaw atu myghad
I also know the other songs and dances of stray kids but didn't do it right, hayst!
Thank you so much! This kind of videos are soo helpful🥺
Also good song is Black Swan by BTS it’s helps you a lot with learning body control. I hope this helped some of you :))
So exitedd !!! But I have a question to improve our dance skills we have to learn all the choregraphy ???
no, of course not! you improve slowly, and even if you learn one dance from this list it should help you improve.
@@SeulgisSwag thankk youuu❤
@@SeulgisSwag another question, is there a song in particular youd reccomend learning the whole dance too? can you also say one for the girl groups as well! if you dont mind of course
@@mky_mouse bad girl by woaah I like that one and dumb by bvndit ... these ones are hard ..I don't know if you are asking for beginners but these ones are just my personal favourites

I used to be a sport dancer ,but i quit it after 6 years and now i want to go back . Hip hop was always my fav.,so i learned gods menu,it being the first one since i quit. Its simply amazing
Hey thanks a lot!!!!
I want to improve my dancing so bad. I really liked the way you made the part 1 but I was kinda sad as I don't feel comfortable to girl group choreos, male versions are my comfort zone. So I really wished that you would make a male version too. Thanks a lot that you made this video.
After learning all these male dance choreos, I promise to get out of my comfort zone and learn all the female dance choreos from part 1.
Thanks again!!♡
im a dancer now
gods menu IS NOT VERY EASY but once u get the hang of it its really fun to dance to!! i recommend learning that dance as well!
cwjltma? lawd txt taught this in a live and they said this is one of their most tiring choreos but i still tried to learn it. nope nah it's too fast i'll try easier dances first :')
I've always notices how txt has always had complex chores especially I terms of leg work like I forget what I'm supposed to do when I try to learn the foot work they do ahh
The first kpop song I've ever danced to was BTS gogo. It's a very easy dance for fun
My dumbass chose to learn Clap - Seventeen with no prior dancing experience at all because the choreo seems so fun and the artists themselves said that they made the choreo so audience can dance with them (and turns out they referred only to the claps not the whole choreo 😭). My whole body got sore and i was in desperate need of multiple heat patches for several days, i couldn't even go downstairs without groaning in pain
Same 😭
i kinda started with gods menu, i still dont know all of it but i know quite a few parts and i think it was a good place for me to start after not liking gg dances. I'm learning kick it right now and its actually been going really smooth so far
bruh bad for me for learning crown by txt as the first song i ever danced....the choregraphy is so SO HARD for BEGINNERS
Kind of random but most skz dances are hard to master, not because of the actual difficulty though. It’s because they look really funny when non professional do it haha.
can't we just leave the monster alive is literally one of txts most tiring choreos they've said it themselves T_____T
not me starting with DNA and txt's Crown

If you’re a girl and a beginner, I suggest you start off with gg dances. Trust me
this sounds so dumb help
@@VlannCo bruh how ??I’m just saying. Bc i think if you start off with boy group dances, you might give up faster since yk that boy group dances are much much more complicated than girls. hello! i’m fourteen years old and i thought i was “too old” to learn how to dance but since my basement is almost done remodelling i will actually be self teaching myself. i know the key to dancing is flexibility and a good foundation which i need to practice on. i just want to learn how to dance because dancing plays a story and you put so much emotion depending on the style. i learn choreography really fast so i don’t think that will be a problem but the problem will be trying to keep the moves clean.
Hey there!! Just passing by to say good luck and also don't worry about being "too old"! I'm almost 18 and only now getting the confidence to try dancing, I also have terrible flexibility and generally don't do any excercise but here I am trying dancing for the the first time. I hope its going well so far!
@@elladyson8886 thank you i definitely need to work on flexibility to be less stiff, i will try stretches. you’re definitely not old because a lot of artists who started dancing were even around that age, many popular artists started dancing later. i wish you the best :)) thank you!!

What’s your opinion on Back Door by Stray Kids? I memorized like half the dance cuz I’ve watched it so much but I haven’t tried to dance it yet.
The should be the creator of the video should be the one responding but,
As a person who practiced Back Door. It's actually ok. I managed to finish it in a few days. But there are parts of the song that you don't want to overdance or be vigilant of. The last chorus is where you don't want to overdance or else it'll look flimsy. Also the first verse and intro where you don't want to look too stiff or too robotic with the neck and hand movements.
It’s a good choice just remember that don’t put to much energy In to all the move some have to have more energy than other such as the part we’re they touch the ground that’s a Burst of energy and do it slow memorize the moves and look In to details then u can start speeding it up faster and dont rush Into it those are mistakes I made btw
in my opinion, it was one of the easiest to learn but it’s harder to execute. it’s pretty fun though!
i also recommend 2pm- my house, its super easy like i've been dancing for about a year now and learned it in an hour
As a GOT7 stan, I can't find a song easier than lullaby, it only goes harder from there, THEY'RE ALL REALLY HARD.
Is this video about the members to watch in order to learn choreography?
No, in this video I give you dances that help you improve your dancing skills and tell you how to improve.

Hey i have a question.
I am trying to improve my dancing skills. While training, should i wear shoes or socks or none? And which kind of floor would u recommend to dance on? My skills lack in foot work so i thought maybe with shoes or so it will be easier
Thanks for ur help
Great video btw
By no means am I a professional, but I'd be glad to help you out by telling you what I've noticed about my and a few other friends' choice of footwear when it comes to dancing
I think it probably depends on the person and choreography! My first dance was bts' DNA (worst mistake I ever made it almost killed me lolll😭) but I realized after wearing socks, because the floor was smoother, it did help out a ton, and I gained mobility and was able to execute a few moves better. I was indoors, but the floors weren't too slippery as to fall.
On hardwood floors (or even grass outside), being simply barefoot is also an option! It's roomy for your feet and for whatever reason is overall more comfortable to a lot of people.
Then of course, especially outside on places other than grass, comfortable sneakers are a great option.
If anything though, just test which is best for you!
Good luck, and have a good day! 💜
@@--lanibani--4492 omg thank u so much, i appreciate your effort
This is really helpful
Have a nice day and thanks again mate
Not a pro but I do some Kpop cover dances and here's my opinion: while learning i wear socks because they're the easiest for me to dance in and I've never found it too slippery (my feet are too sweaty so i can't dance barefoot very smoothly). After learning the dance, I can do it in sneakers or even high heeled boots
personally, i use shoes while dancing to help with my balance and dancing barefoot can cause your feet to hurt more 👍🏼
I have to use shoes, socks are too slippery, and usually when we make covers outside etc its good to know the dance without "cheating" by using the slippery floor for some moves if u understand (shuffeling etc)
Yay! I've been waiting for another one like this and guess what? It comes out on my birthday teehee :)
happy birthdayyyy 💖💖
oof i never really learn boy group dances but here we go
Thank you so much for this list!❤ I will definitly try a few of this dances to improve my dancing (A few weeks ago I learned Dynamite and I practiced so much but I still looked like an idiot 😂😂)
Thank you so much for this!! I recently started dancing and since I am girl everybody assumes I want to dance to the girl group cutesy dances(not that anything is wrong with that) but I just really love the choreography of boy groups so I am gonna give this list a try.
Whoa, I would've never guessed you would put "Obsession" on a list of easier dances to learn. In my opinion, the moves are technically easy but the way they are executed are so masterfully done with incredible control. Good luck, people.

mwah (i feel rlly weird saying that but yes)
thank you so much for this guide!! i just started dancing over quarantine and i had no idea where to start because all the (boy) groups i stan seem to have such difficult choreography 💀💀
As someone who’s been dancing for their whole life, this list isn’t very accurate :( like.. at all. Flame for beginners? Make a wish for beginners? Makes me a bit upset because new dancers could follow this list and get discouraged from continuing-
as someone who's really passionate about dancing and also want to create choreographies ( just wanted to add that my biggest inspiration being seventeens hoshi! he's my role model ) I started off with blood sweat and tears 😭 altho it was so hard i thankfully got the hang of it! I tip is to find a mirrored version of the dances you want to learn! also if you want to learn dances that need alot of movement ( especially on the floor ex. Itzys songs, svt etc ) stretch and focus on areas you'll have to move alot, and if you really wanna express well then focus on your facial expressions and fluidity/ power you put on dances! there's times were some dances need alot of power on some moves like popping and all, but that also depends on the dance! I'm not the best at giving advice but I hope I can somehow help!
Looking forward to the "dances that are easy to master as a beginner" video!
It took me a whole ass week to learn boy with luv choreography like 👁️👄👁️
I understand that boys group choreo is harder than the girls one(no hate i still appreciate them) so i just wanna ask from where do you learn these dances? nd also i would like to know everyone's answer for this♡
I recommend Nostalgic Night by Victon. The choreography is quite simple and the pace is pleasant (neither slow nor fast) and fun to learn
the first dance I did was hip by mamamoo then i did dynamite by bts then love killa by monsta x then very nice by seventeen but only half of the dance then boy with luv by bts then how you like that by blackpink then im not cool by hyuna and then dingga by mamamoo and now im doing boom by nct dream
Not me who learned ON first and then blaming myself after just 1 week why isn't it working lmao
THANK YOU i tried to learn spread my wings as my first stray kids dance and my stiff back was not feeling it-
Still a beginner even though I started 3 years ago.....started with fire and twice’s what is love
What are some tips you would give someone who wants to get better at male kpop dances? Any advice regarding expressions/energy/shapes/etc? I've been dancing for a year and a half and in regards to kpop I've pretty much only stuck to female choreographies but I really want to get better at boy group stuff. Your videos are so helpful and fun, thank you!
Male choreographies are definitely way different than female choreographies, there are less dramatic hand motions and more footwork involved. As a pretty small girl it's hard for me to move my entire body when I learn boy group dancing, so I think strengthening your body is important. Facial expressions are also really hard to get down, they're different from SOME (not all) girl group dances so it's hard to look cool while doing the moves. I think just practice in front of the mirror, it comes over time. At first you look really awkward but as you practice, it gets better. Obviously learning/executing moves is a very hard part, but that comes with practice as well. One very difficult thing is carrying out the moves without overdancing and underdancing. There's not really a set way to get rid of this, this will continue to happen as you learn more and more dances. Maybe ask someone to watch you dance and tell you if you are under/overdancing (unless you're shy hehe) or look in a mirror or record yourself.
@@SeulgisSwag Thank you so much! I wrote down all the songs from your list that I hadn't learned yet and am going to learn each of them. I liked how you explained why each piece was helpful to a learner rather than just saying that they're 'basic and beginner-friendly.'
We lost the summer is easier than their other dances but we can feel and look really awkward while dancing to that, so just have fun and keep on practicing it.
I really suggest mic drop to learn in the beginning it has same type of moves over again
