We're all crying K. They played it every hr on our local rock station here in Cincinnati, and it's just a beautiful song. It's like chester never left, but we all know he's watching over us metalheads, and rock heads. Chester, we love and miss you everyday brother.
When I heard this song, it took me back to October 27, 2017 at the Hollywood Bowl and the concert to celebrate Chester’s life. The energy was palpable, as was the profound sadness. I was so emotionally drained that I didn’t leave my hotel room the next day.
Love the range from the delicate, more acoustic-feeling parts to the soaring vocal run in this song. Chester's voice just has a way of hitting you right in the heart.
I don't know if you have reacted to Chester singing White Wedding by Billy Idol in 2016. Chester also recorded the song System for the Queen of the Damned soundtrack in 2002. Chester just had so much control over his voice that he could sing any song he wanted to. They recorded like 30 songs to see which 12 songs they wanted on the One More Light album. So there is most likely more that they are not ready to release yet. I hope if they are going to release them they release them slowly so we going to keep getting little pieces of Chester at a time. I love watching the video because we see Chester doing 1 of the things that made him happy besides being with his fans, being on stage, and being with his family and friends.
I miss Chester so much He truly is a gift, his ability is undeniable, but little did he know that all of the things that he went through in his life has healed, and helped more people than he probably could ever understand. Yes, it’s painful to hear his voice again, because we know we won’t have it anymore as something new, but it brings me joy to remind me of how much this band touched me and my life . May he be resting in peace we love you Chester. 🌹🌹 thank you LP. 🤘🏻
We are a band inspired by Linkin Park's music, and even when Friendly Fire has not the LP style we like the most, we have to admit that it is a great, emotional song. Hearing Chester's voice again in a new song is a blessing. Thanks K for sharing your thoughts on this song. BTW, I've been following your channel for a while and I din't know that you were a LP fan and LPU member too. That's amazing. I can't express how much I envy you for having met Chester in the flesh. Those memories are a gift.♥
Such a beautiful song its wonderful I love the band and I miss Chester I don’t know if they will ever put more music out they may never after this but hey if this is it then what a perfect song and a wonderful tribute song
We don’t know it’s probably Chester’s last song. LP probably might still have some unreleased songs with his vocals. We all still miss him and Chris. R.I.P. to them both ❤😢 #MakeChesterProud
I just found your channel and subscribed. I have a question? If an unheard Linkin Park song wasn’t officially released and you still had the chance to hear something new, would you? I ask this, because you said certain things like hearing him makes it seem like he’s still here, and the feeling you get when seeing new video. I like Linkin Park and similar bands but im more of a rap fan. Us rap fans have many Juice WRLD fans. He has thousands of unreleased songs and the record label continues to make excuses on the next release and then the songs get leaked and some fans listen and others don’t. I’m someone that listens. I hear a minimum of one new song per week. I also see new video at times. It truly feels like he’s still here but just on tour in another country. Just curious how the heavy metal community feels about unreleased leaked music. It’s hard to not listen when your a big fan of their music.
Good question! So, there's a band called Polaris, in the metal community, and their guitar player passed away recently and the band went ahead and released the album that he helped record and it was sad and hard to listen to, but also gave us some sense of connection to him. There's also a vocalist named Keaton Pearce, from a band called Too Close To Touch, who passed away awhile ago and his band has released two songs that he sang on and those both made me cry. A band I love, Bad Omens, actually played one of their songs live at a show here in Nashville, with Keaton's band members and I was sobbing uncontrollably in the balcony watching that happen. I love it and I think it's very special for the fans to get these unreleased songs.
@@KtheScreamerOfficial thanks for the quick reply. Too many people lost in music. JuiceWrld was at the top of the game when he was alive 4 years ago, but he’s still breaking streaming records. Lots of his music is sad because he died from long term use of drugs and he talks about his demons in almost every song he has. So it makes it extra hard when he says things like, I hope these perkys don’t kill me, and other similar lines. He never really condoned drug use, but would rap about it and then rap about the consequences of taking them. I continue to listen to his newest unreleased music because it’s like a form of therapy.
I was reading somewhere where hit parader did best vocalist list and they had axle in the top five in Chester in the twenties I laughed axle is not good at all😂😂😂. Chester easy top 5
That hits all the feels. It hits hard. R.I.P.
Crying my eyes out with this release, thanks so much for your review.
You and me both! It was hard to stay composed through this one...

“We’re pulling a trigger in a useless war” hits hard 💯

Couldn't agree more! It's a beautiful song! Thank you for watching!
This hits deep .... Damn

Chester is a huge reason why I started singing in the first place. I'm grateful to have met him. He was a special light in this world, for sure.
I love hearing these unreleased songs but it's also soul crushing knowing I'll never hear it live 😭
I'm not crying
Okay!??
JUST CUTTING BIG ONIONS
Same!
Pareil pour moi ❤❤

Emotional vibes for sure. Still, it's so good to hear Chester's voice. He was no one trick pony, and I appreciate that about him.
It's so good to hear him. I'm grateful that we got to hear this final song.
I thought you are Che Diaz 😍 Chester was the best ever
Awesome. Thanks for sharing your experience ❤ And just listened to KYHUP - it's fn AWESOME 🙌
Thank you for checking out KYHUK! I appreciate it so much!

Chester's last song was actually Cross Off (not a criticism, I liked the video, just mentioning)
