- In July 2016 The Boeing Company celebrated its 100th year in business. As part of the commemoration, a one-of-a-kind light show was projected onto a 747 airplane and was debuted in front of nearly 100,000 employees, retirees and their families. The show includes historic photos, videos and animations and a tribute to the more than a million men and women who created this proud legacy. It is also intended to inspire those who will define Boeing’s second century. This amazing The show highlights the countless ways in which the company has led the aerospace and aviation industries and connected the world.

This is one of the most amazing projection presentations I've ever seen. The 747 is such an emotional touchstone for the company. Congratulations to Boeing on 100 years. I wish I could see what you're building 100 years from now.
The 747 has been around for 47 years, and it still seems unreal, like a magic trick, amazing that it still inspires.

Truly amazing! It is with example the way the employees are being treated. This show could have earned Boeing a ton of money, but instead it was dedicated to the employees.

When Sydney decides to do vivid on a 747 instead of the opera house. Loved it along with my dad and our whole flight club. We watched it when this was uploaded. The club and me and my dad got one of the clubs cessna's, painted it in Boeing livery and flew it across the Central Coast! I was co pilot. We wanted to use an old 717 though but they where all for scrap.

I saw Garuda and Lion Air. Two biggest Airlines from Indonesia. Lion air bought 150 Boeing 737-900 ER and Garuda has more than 50 Boeing 737-800 NG. Both airlines has 747 also.

Boeing has always been the best, innovative, Manufacturer of Aircraft and will continue to do so for the Mellennia to come.
This utterly spectacular, creative presentation, created for their employee's, is an absolute testimonial to Boeing's good works. Further, it testifies to Boeing's Integrity towards their employee's and their Character towards the Customer's, which always return for more.
The creative talent it took to produce this most wondrous project cannot begin to recieve the myriad of accolades it deserves.
To all those involved with this project and your pure brilliance, thank you. Moreover, thank you Boeing and your entire roster of Personnel for allowing us to share in such a grand celebration.

Good job Boeing! I just really wish you were still in production of your 747 series. It's literally the most iconic plane there is. If it weren't for the 747, aviation. It just wouldn't be a thing to me. But I know you got rid of it for a reason. There were only 8 sold in 2016. But seriously, keep Building Something Better 😄
