thanks for posting. i was researching how to use the peruvian spindle i purchased recently, and the slow motion and close-ups are very helpful in showing how it's used.

Wow~ I love it! I'm a pretty new spinner and amazed that they get their yarn sooo thin! Aahhh~ to be able to spin all day long and noone to tell you to stop~ LOL! I've always loved Andean music, especialy the songs that take you away to a more peaceful place!
I would love to go to Peru, also Mongolia, and countries where they spin as a way of life, and live off of the land, surrounded by nature~ now THATS the life! {I'd do anything to get out of Brooklyn!LOL!!!} Thanks so much, huggys~ Dora :)

the slow motion video portion is very helpful for viewing the hand technique for predrafting the fibers and long draw semi-worsted spinning technique on a drop spindle!!

your welcome. the ladys are spinning threads all day long, as they walk, as they cook, as they chatt they are spinning, sometimes I think they spin in their sleep. For this I too find it fasanating to see their fingers at work.
