This series is an in-depth dive into the five elements of vogue fem -- one of the three sub-categories of vogue, a dance style from the ballroom community rooted in Black and Latin queer / trans communities. These videos are not intended to be an exhaustive or definitive guide on right and wrong, but rather an accessible and informative source of information to combat the wide array of misinformation and teachers with no connection to the ballroom scene currently on YT: aimed towards people without access to a local ballroom scene or teachers from the ballroom scene.
Please leave a comment down below with any specific questions you have about the content in this video, or questions about ballroom in general! I'll do my best to answer.
If you enjoyed or learned something from this class and want to compensate me, my payment links are below. Alternatively, here are a number of Black trans-centered charities that you can make a donation to instead -- vogue and ballroom exists because of Black trans women and they created the conditions and community for me to even be able to make this series.

It’s never too late (or early) to learn! I’m 14 but I want to learn how to vogue because I think it’s such a fun style that, despite not being as old as some other dances, still has so much rich history behind it

Thanks for the tutorials! I live in Malaysia and even though we have a small drag scene here, it's extremely elitist with heavy focus on expensive costumes and cis males. As an AFAB nonbinary person, watching how the voguing scene welcomes all kinds of people truly made me happy. I have been wanting to learn more but it was hard finding resources. There used to be a few videos but not enough detailed teachings. Became a big fan via Legendary. I wish I could join a house some day!

I think it's definitely a lot harder to do so outside of the internet, but I think there are a lot of online resources that are super useful! Definitely recommend following and watching ballroom channels and accounts and message your favorite voguers and ask for their feedback -- speaking personally, I'm always happy to look at a video of someone voguing and give my two cents.
The other thing is to learn as a community -- take online classes with a group of your friends or just session together. As long as you're being true to the culture and the technique, you don't need a ballroom scene to meet together and vogue. once you build up enough interest, you might even be able to create a ballroom scene of your own with the guidance of people who are a part of it!
