Still has her notes more or less, but the voice is definitely not what it was. She has a significant vocal wobble despite having a small instrument, and often sings flat. I’m not sure if this is a vocal control issue, a hearing issue, or both. Some of her performances over the past year to year and a half have been pretty painful (i.e. the Queen’s Jubilee). Would be nice if pop singers had the dignity and self-awareness of opera singers who know when to retire from live performance.
Ms. Ross is a workhorse. She refuses to slow down. My God, she has supported a brutal schedule in 23 with no signs of taking a pause. You got to respect her. She's a spiritual gift. She's one of a kind. No one can match her! I mean, there is nobody like her. She's in a class by herself.
