Why they do not mention using a ground auger on a tractor, skid steer, or mini excavator to make perfectly sized vertical holes just larger than the diameter of BigFoot bell is beyond me. There is less ground disturbance, less sod to replace, and you do not need to dig giant holes with an large excavator and the cost associated with a larger piece of earth moving equipment.
@@andreycham4797 Very true, but bell augers are not very common at the local tool rental store. Standard ground augers are much more common. Not to mention, that you have to rent two augers a standard ground auger to get to the proper depth and then switch that auger out for the bell auger to cut the bell and remove the material.
But may I ask can this not be used for a house foundation and if so how would you go about doing so ???

Because people would think , if I need to use an auger I could use the bell auger and do not have to buy those big foots
