Thanks for the honest video. But comparing an SUV with a Saloon car is like comparing apple and pear. Different taste and different driving pleasure. I believe you can choose the similar material quality and features on both vehicles. Driving pleasure and cost of ownership should be the most important criteria on my side. But that’s my point of view of course :)

It depends on the options. While my s-class had nice polish wood, the GLS had unpolished wood. The s-class has more soft leather while my gls didn't. It all depends on your options. My s-class was a base model with just drive assist.

For past 8 years, I have been driving 7 series BMW and for 6 month I hade lease takeover of RR wraith. My lease was up and I have had around 20k to leverage with. So, we went and bought 2020 S560 fully loaded with 14k miles warranty until 2026 unlimited miles for 75k so my cost 50k with Maybach interipr Package. Self driving, night vision ect. I have never been in the better place then this mercedes! I dont like new Benz inside and definitely dont like BMW

Great video. Luxury SUVs are hard to beat comfort-wise. Only thing I ever worry about are high speed emergency maneuvers or getting bumped/pitted on highway and losing control. I had an S class rental along the South coast of France around Nice, Eze etc and it was just too big for the small, tight curves and switchbacks. Also in Europe in the tighter spaces/garages you are forced to go to places with valet parking because it is just too big to find a space. I returned it to Sixt after 2 days and downgraded to a 5 series.
So class is associated with how well you speak English? So, my your super smart logics, you need to speak perfect English to have class? I am a native English speaker and yes I am not the best at it and it doesn't make me less of a person for it. Why don't you judge people on what they accomplish in life and actions they take and not by the way people speak. I may not have the class you're talking about but I do have an S-Class what do you have?

I own both, my S class gets worse gas mileage, although it’s about 1500lbs lighter and less horsepower
