    thanks for the video. please do more of the interior videos and layout discussions. I really enjoyed the engineering and assembly videos, and am now struggling with the interior layout for a family of 4.

      We do not do interiors, so these videos are just a taste of what folks have done with their epic Globe Trekker habitats. Best to do is tape out an area in your garage and walk through your designs to see if they will work for you.

    Very nice, gentlemen. I think you guys should do a DIY interior flat pack; with cabinets, a mini-split, interior wall panels, so such.

      That might be sooner than later. We shall see.

      Amazing what you can do with the new materials and a C&C machine.

    The interior looks great. Cool topographical map as a back splash.
    Will Bill put a box and spare tire set up like on the other habitat?

      The spare tire carrier we engineered for the F550 build was a beta test model. I don't really know what his plans are for his next build with the International truck he just bought.

    who finished the inside?

    • @RVGlobeTrekker
      @RVGlobeTrekker  2 года назад

      Bill Sands put "sweat equity" into his build. He picked out the materials and had his cabinets C&C cut per his design he made in Fusion 360. The cut pieces come as a flat pack. He chose the pulls, hinges, latches... built it himself, right in the habitat over a couple of weekends.

      @@RVGlobeTrekker I haven't seen any photos of that... I can't reach out to Bill if you don't hose them.

    How many years do you cover the subframe under warranty?

    • @RVGlobeTrekker
      @RVGlobeTrekker  Год назад

      Everything is covered under a one year warranty. Our subframes are engineered, FEA tested, tab and slot laser cut, press braked, professionally welded, bead blasted, double hot galvanized dipped, primer painted, and powder coated for maximum strength, durability, corrosion protection, and long life.

      @@RVGlobeTrekker First of all, thanks for your response. According to your description, it will last for a long time. But a 'professionally welded' subframe comes with only one year warranty? Well... I don't get it.

      @@SaintNomad one year is the industry standard, so we went with it. It's designed to last 20 years or more, and to be worked on with off the shelf replacement parts if the oiled bronze bushing (as an example) wear out. If you can find something better, let me know.
