Regarding "Chainsaw Man" itself, I will warn that it's not a "feel good" story--lots of crazy/unexpected things happen that are entertaining but emotionally wrecking. I'm almost hesitant to continue reading the manga, but I think since I binged it up til recently all the emotions hit me at once and it should be more bearable reading on a weekly basis.

Fantastic review, Robo. I went to the Walmart link and ordered one. Seeing this new line from JazWares makes me pine for their 6” Fortnite figures. It was such a terrific line cut short by Hasbro’s license acquisition. Hasbro created some cool figures in its line, but like its Overwatch counterpart, it barely got started, and POOF! it was over. I hope this new anime line has longer legs.
I saw this at my Walmart this weekend, too, though I didn't grab it. It's not in my wheelhouse, but I like that Jazwares is doing the lower price-point stuff.
Nice review and this looks genuinely good especially at that price! As for Chainsaw Man, it's a great series. A nice blend of horror and crazy action but most of all, a genuinely moving story of a young guy just trying to find his place in the world of adults. The anime is good but Season 1 just barely scratches the surface of what made the manga so beloved. Highly recommended.
If you are curious about getting into CSM, I recommend reading manga, robo. It's easier to pick up and read it on your own pace. Anime is good but man manga is on different level. Panel composition and drawing just feel cinematic and unique. It's some weird shit but when the story hits hard it hits hard.
This line has a lot of potential going for it. I hope it’s successful, because I’m curious to see what other series they branch out into. It would be cool if we see them branch out into larger scale figures too, like a 12”+ Titan Form Eren.

Sure you don’t get too many alt heads,hands and accessories, but not every character needs it or to be force into a £80 price point Like I want figures of Shinji, Auska and Rei from evangelion or any Gundam Pilot done in a line like this, as the acriculation would match what’s needed and they don’t have need for too many add ons.
For the price point this line is incredible. If I ever see them in the wild it'll be tempting to pick them up just to support the line, even if I'm not interested in the properties they've covered so far.
Some of them are popping up at GameStop too for the MSRP but definitely get them while you can at Walmart for the 17 if you can. Deku and Chainsawman are the stand outs so I hope the line does well enough to get more waves for more properties.
I actually saw the JuJutsu Kaisen in Ross Montebello CA for $14.99 which was surprising. I bought it and I already bought vhainsaw man and midoriya from walmart. the only one I’m missing from that line now is eren Jaeger

Oh, dang, I know MyDamnToys but I've never seen his heat gun segments. I used to do it a lot during Play Days then it kinda went away until people got mad, heh. Had to bring it back.

The Midoriya figure is my favorite version of him compared to the Bandai and McFarlane figures. It’d be really cool if they continue the line and make the characters that every other company missed. Not to mention the huge potential for figures from other series (DBZ, Cowboy Bebop, Fullmetal Alchemist, more Spy x Family, etc.)
Kind of curious if they had considered attaching the saws from the arms to just the hands, and making those swappable. That way, you'd be able to rotate the saws with the hands for different positioning options along the forearm.
Hey robo I just wanted to give you some advice, I think the hands are cut off from the arm so you can take them off to swap the fists and open hands between the bloody and more bloody chainsaws because that's what they did with the Figuarts figure the Figuarts also has a similar shoulder design so I think jazwares were inspired by them for this lol
I found there Eren Yeager at Ross a couple weeks ago, And idk how to feel about it. I’ve already had one of the extra hands break and idk if trust the strength of the plastic anymore. It could be because I got it from Ross, idk though. I still might get their Midoriya and their Itadori if I find them

Just saw this toy at another review (Anthony s custom). The problems seem to be the same - bent saw head and different color torso. But it is decently priced and overall, a good figure even if not familiar with the character.
I don't know anything about this character but just by his looks he could make a great horror icon like Jason or Freddy. Kinda looks like he belongs to the Hellraiser franchise.
These smaller companies should have the big bous sweating. This cant be a cheap license, so why is it so much cheaper than comparable figures from mattel ir hasbro
Another company did it better. It doesn't have as Manny parts no blood BUT you can pose it better, rotate the ankles, doesn't need a stand to stay up, and although it doesn't have double jointed elbows, the sleeve ends lower on the arms allowing you to rotate the arm for an upper cut motion. You can't do that on this one bec they wanted to make room for the elbow joints

Anthoney’s costumes reviewed the SH Figuarts action figure ($60-$70 price range) but i hope he does review the fig so the line gets more traction
