I stupidly bought an 7 Plus but dumped it after the crappy Intel modem issue plaguing AT&T and T-Mobile variants...No Service in rural areas where the 6s and all other phones got 2 bars. Bought the Galaxy S8 Plus and never looked back. Now I can use my Bose Quietcomfort 20's again. Now I can charge my phone while listening to my headphones...without having to spend $300 on a new set of Bose Quietcomfort 30 Bluetooth headphones. I can go on and on. The only thing I somewhat miss are the dual cameras and iMessage...but the Galaxy s8 Plus's features are dizzying, fun, and useful. And if you shop, you can get an S8 for a little over $500. Wow! One benefit of Android is that when I use a keyboard, I get incredible haptic feedback, making typing a joy. Apple lauds their Haptic Engine, yet it's pretty much useless, and it doesn't work with the keyboard.

Having said that, their Macs keep me tied to them because I think their hard/software is second to none. So, I'm willing to buy a 3rd party adapter.
Plus tax here in the U.S, the X costs $1084.5. Now with apple care thats another $200. Not to mention the accessories like the dongle, wireless charging, etc thats another $100. Basically, you're spending roughly around $1150-$1300 on just the 64GB...smfh apple.

Just go with an s8+. The device is great, and it would be a smarter and better buy than the iphone x. It also comes with fast charging out the box, not to mention fast wireless charging, better/brighter display that packs more pixels per inch than the iphone x, stronger waterproofing, etc. Apple not including a wireless charger out the box and expecting its customers to fork over even more money than $1000 for something that android phones get for free, is beyond me. Don't let apple keep screwing you over with small updates that android users have been enjoying for years already. Do yourself a favor and try the s8+ this year and if you really hate it that much, you can sell it and spend that towards the iphone x. but in the long run you'll have saved a lot of money, and still have gotten a better phone.

Liquid+Metal exactly! what about practicality? people are just buyin the brand(yes it's a good brand) but not even havin the courage to include a fast chargin unit out of the box?? that's just apple bein care free. samsung makes mistakes, a ton if you ask me but they own to them - the removed sd card and water proof from the S6 and then with the S7 they brought all back, they owned up to the Note 7 battery issue, they give you fast chargin, they include a couple of connectors out of the box, $100 worth of headsets out of the box. and apple can't even give their loyal fans a fast charger?? wow

And even with iOS 11, the iPhone still officially remains too dumb to accomplish the following extremely basic tasks despite all that horse power of it's A11 chipsets, all of which were long doable on ancient dumb phones:
- Bluetooth contact/media/file sharing with any other Bluetooth-equipped device
- Downloading media from 3rd party sources and integrating it with central media players without a separate computer
- System-wide storage expansion via MicroSD card
- Being used as a USB flash storage
Not to even talk of the many other features of android devices. Maybe the iPhone 20 with iOS 21 will finally gain the capacity to accomplish everything dumb phones were capable of. Then we'll talk about how it compares in features to Android devices.
