Eh, A lot of this was VERY NATURAL and before 2010(?) Gyaru makeup was very much heavy. Also Yamanba back in 1999- 2001 didn't add whiskers or draw bottom lashes to their make. This was a Manba thing back in 2004. Could of used more reserch to get it accurate.
@@satoushio4356 Korean makeup routines favor an extremely natural look. The fashion Gyaru in Japan have been wearing since the death of Alba Rosa is nothing but Korean streetwear.
i always thought that korean beauty and fashion was influenced by japan and not the other way around..🤔 i mean japan is bigger and japanese people are more open minded about fashion and beauty especially in tokyo where they always invent new styles..

They mean half foreign from a Japanese perspective, most people in japan are Japanese this make up tries to emulate the look of a western person or a person who is half Japanese half (white/other) to look more “exotic” n less traditional. It’s weird thinking of trying to look foreign from an American perspective because we are all foreign that’s what America is lol
oh my god that "half foreign" is just as bad as the white girls doing "look half japanese/asian" looks. people, i've gotten so much crap for being mixed but i guess looking like you are is much cooler than actually being mixed :/ i did really enjoy the princess look and i'm always a fan of gyaru though! i just wish i was talented enough with makeup haha

There is really something special about the tanned gyaru look. It's weird but dark skin japanese are even prettier than white skin japanese to me.
